About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and when I started living on my own I realized they’re more important than I ever realized. I have a rescue pup who is very nervous but sweet. I am a graduate student in the home stretch of my degree, and I can use the money and the reason to get out of the house. I have a fenced in yard and a crate trained dog. I’m always good about on time flea/tick/heartworm and yearly vaccinations, as well as being educated in dog distress signs and illness signs.
About: I have professional experience working in veterinary medicine and providing compassionate, attentive care to animals with a wide range of personalities and needs. Through my experience, I have developed skills in recognizing changes in behavior, safely handling pets, administering medications when directed, monitoring overall health and comfort, and helping reduce stress during care. I’m comfortable caring for energetic pets, senior pets, and animals that may need extra patience or attention. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust, communication, and consistency are. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in experienced and caring hands. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with Thursdays and weekends off, but I still make time to provide dependable pet care around my schedule. I’m available for morning drop-ins, evening visits, overnight care when planned in advance, and have greater flexibility on Thursdays and weekends for longer visits, walks, and quality time. I understand how important routines are for pets and will work with owners to make sure their pets receive consistent, attentive care that fits their needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. With my background in veterinary medicine and hands-on animal care experience, I pay close attention to behavior, routines, and any signs that a pet may be stressed or uncomfortable. I believe trust is built through communication, consistency, and treating every animal with patience and respect. I work to create a calm, safe, and positive environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away, and I provide updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring and experienced hands.

“Molly provided exceptional drop-in care for our cat, Thomas, while we were away on vacation for a week. Thomas is a very affectionate house cat, but he’s usually hesitant around new people. I wasn’t sure if he would come out during her visits, but I needed someone responsible who would maintain his normal routine by providing fresh food and keeping his litter box clean. Molly exceeded every expectation. She sent us daily photos of Thomas enjoying snuggles and playtime with her, along with thoughtful updates about his behavior and how he was adjusting. It was clear she took the time to make him feel comfortable and cared for. Knowing Thomas had companionship and comfort while we were away gave us peace of mind. We would recommend Molly to anyone looking for a dependable pet sitter who is truly in tune with cats. She is a natural with them.”

“This is our second time working with Lydia, and she was wonderful once again. She is very communicative throughout the week, and really looks after our cats as well as our house (bringing in packages, cleaning up messes when needed, etc.). I would 100% book with her again.”
“My "boys" love Jennifer. She is always on time, plays with them and walks them, and always snaps a few pictures so I know they're just fine while I'm gone. Jennifer blesses me with peace of mind while I'm traveling to check in on my elderly mom. I am so grateful for her.”

“Marek went above & beyond for my requests, he even wiped up the floor when it was raining. He brought & used HIS OWN towel for that. 10/10 would always use his services again!”

“I can't thank our wonderful cat-sitter, Amanda enough for the exceptional care she provided to our beloved feline while we were away. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she had a genuine love for animals, and our cat instantly warmed up to her. She went above and beyond to ensure our cat felt comfortable and loved in our absence. The regular updates and photos she sent us reassured us that our furry friend was in the best hands. We returned home to a happy and well-cared-for cat, and we couldn't be more grateful. Without a doubt, we will be booking her services again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Brooke did an excellent job taking care of our pets. She was very timely and spent 30 minutes each visit and provided updates and pictures. We would definitely use her services again.”

About: Having been around a variety of animals for my entire life I appreciate the joy and place they hold in their family’s lives. My own soul dog (Sheltie named Finn) passed away in 2025 and he is dearly missed. Though he is gone, my love of animals has never changed. These days I paint animal portraits for shelter donations, care for the pets of family/friends, and now I serve to help those seeking an aid for their furry family member. Every family deserves to know their animal(s) are being cared for with the utmost respect. That is the level of responsibility I take when I will accompany your pet on a walk or to check on them during the day. There is also plenty of room for play and affection! They are your family and deserve to be treated as such. I am currently working part-time weekdays until 2 pm. After work, I am available to assist in the care of animals by walking or checking on their welfare. The first thing I do when arriving is ensure that all animals within the home are well by observing them. Once that is assured, I take the time to let them adjust to my presence by allowing them to meet me on their terms. Afterwards, I ensure water bowls are changed or topped off, litter boxes are emptied if needed, and prepare any dogs for their walks.
“Kelly Lea did a phenomenal job caring my two kitties. They were well fed, and kept so happy with playtime and treats. It’s great to be able to enjoy your time away when you know that your fur babies are taken care off by such a caring and wonderful person as Kelly Lea. She kept us updated on their well being with messages and photos. She was on time to every visit even when she needed to adjust one of the visit times. Rest assured we will definitely book Kelly Lea for future needs, what a great experience for all.”

About: I am a lifetime animal lover. I currently have a Rottweiler, and a shepherd mix. I also have two cats, one is part Maine coone and the other is a Manx. I love interacting with cats and dogs and would love to help take care of them for you. I have experience with providing medicine and wound care to animals as well as bathing and trimming nails with the ones that cooperate. 🙂 I currently work full time 7:30-4. My children are also very active so I can tend to be busy certain times of the year. But when I am available I would be able to stop by or take your dog for a walk during the week. I like to make sure all pets are taken care of and loved. I like to treat my pets as a part of the family and not just an animal.

“Marilyn did a great job doing drop-in visits for our dogs for a week. She was very responsive and took good care of them, sending lots of pictures and videos to us as well. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Lauren is just the sweetest! She worked to get my grumpy old man to go outside and stayed to love on him. She was great about sending pics and updates. Will use her again in the future!!”

“Destinee took great care of our senior dog and cat during a week’s long trip. She even went the extra mile cleaning up accidents, washing couch covers and using a carpet cleaner. It is very reassuring to have someone so experienced and knowledgeable taking care of my fur kids!”

Jennifer has done an amazing job at keeping us updated on what she had done and what our kitties were up to with each visit! She provided wonderful photos that assured us they were doing okay. I would definitely book with her again and am so thankful that we found her!

Courtney was absolutely wonderful with my cat Twan Twan. Before my trip, she even took the time to come by for a meet-and-greet so she could get familiar with my home and get comfortable with Twan Twan. That thoughtful gesture gave me so much confidence before I left. She was incredibly caring and thoughtful during every visit. She made sure he was well taken care of, spent quality time playing with him, and sent detailed updates with photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
