A typical day
Hi! We are a family of three humans and three pets. We live in a beautiful neighborhood and have become known for the array of dogs who have stayed with us. Our neighbors always get excited to see what four-legged friends we are caring for now. We don’t have a fenced-in backyard (yet), but do provide walks with our dog or individually or sometimes both (if your pet isn’t in to being outside). Our dog is not crated at night, but we do have a crate that fits a medium-sized dog as well as a playpen to allow for some private space. We have an array of toys, bones, and treats we have accumulated as our dog is VERY particular. She loves all dogs, and you can see we also have a cat who is partial dogs. However, if your dog is not good with cats, there is an area the dogs cannot access that they like to spend their time.

Aside from college, I have never lived in a home that did not have pets. And even in college, I would go visit the bulldog next door. In the past, I volunteered at the Indiana Humane Society with my son. I currently am "the help" to two rambunctious cats. We had a boxer who passed away at 15 years of age within the last year. I miss having a canine friend in the home, but I enjoy getting to meet so many other four-legged friends. It's like never having to pick just ONE. I enjoy the pug who just wants to play indoors the entire time to the large rescue dog who makes 30 minutes go by like 3 minutes, I never leave without a smile. P.S. I come with poop bags, treats, and an occasional touch of cat hair. **About severe weather: I take all weather advisories seriously! *When the heat index is about 90 degrees, walks will be cut short for the safety of your pets. We will use up remaining time getting pets and belly rubs or playing indoors. Water will be available for your pet on our walks. I do not mind walking in the rain but will not walk during storms. I try to monitor the weather to coordinate my visit during times storms are not forecasted. In winter, if temps drop below 20 degrees, we may need to discuss turning a walk into a drop-in visit. Walks will not occur below 10 degrees. I will always communicate with you if a change of plans is necessary due to inclement weather.**

My "boys" love Jennifer. She is always on time, plays with them and walks them, and always snaps a few pictures so I know they're just fine while I'm gone. Jennifer blesses me with peace of mind while I'm traveling to check in on my elderly mom. I am so grateful for her.
Jennifer took great care of my cat Leo by doing dropnin visits everyday for 10 days. In terms of communication, she sent a report card everyday sending me pictures of my cat along with any update on low food, water or litter. She responded to my texts or updates whenever needed promptly. In terms of reliability, she arrived at the prescribed time. She kept me updated if she was going to be a few minutes late due to weather. In terms of cleanliness, all the items in my house were kept as they were when I left and the cat treats, food were kept in the same spot. No complaints there. Overall, very communicative and friendly towards my cat. My cat who is a bit shy to strangers, soon warmed up to Jennifer within a day. Definitely recommend Jennifer!
