About: I worked at a cat cafe for 4 years, and have been working at a small-animal veterinary clinic for the past 2 years. I’ve provided pet sitting many times over the last 6 years, and am currently working towards my master’s degree in animal science and behavior. I’m well-rounded in proper animal husbandry, medication administration— from pills to insulin injections— nutrition, and animal behavior. My goal is to eventually become certified for training, but I do already know basic behavior modification techniques. I’m regularly taking care of animals, from my personal pet to the animals at my veterinary job. I love and treat every animal like they’re my own, yours included! I am very patient when it comes to animals. If your cat is slow to warm up to me, I will give them their space and wait for them to come to me for pets and play. If your dog is wanting to take their time to smell around outside, I will give them that sensory enrichment. About: I have had all kinds of pets growing up and still have 2 dogs. I have also pet sit for numerous families and family members over the years. I love animals and love taking care of them. I work for home 3 days a week. I work from home Monday, Wednesday and Friday and am free on the weekends. I am looking to fit pet care into these time frames. I feed, water and take pets on walks. About: Having been around a variety of animals for my entire life I appreciate the joy and place they hold in their family’s lives. My own soul dog (Sheltie named Finn) passed away in 2025 and he is dearly missed. Though he is gone, my love of animals has never changed. These days I paint animal portraits for shelter donations, care for the pets of family/friends, and now I serve to help those seeking an aid for their furry family member. Every family deserves to know their animal(s) are being cared for with the utmost respect. That is the level of responsibility I take when I will accompany your pet on a walk or to check on them during the day. There is also plenty of room for play and affection! They are your family and deserve to be treated as such. I am currently working part-time weekdays until 2 pm. After work, I am available to assist in the care of animals by walking or checking on their welfare. The first thing I do when arriving is ensure that all animals within the home are well by observing them. Once that is assured, I take the time to let them adjust to my presence by allowing them to meet me on their terms. Afterwards, I ensure water bowls are changed or topped off, litter boxes are emptied if needed, and prepare any dogs for their walks.

“Where do I begin? I guess let me start by saying I don’t trust ANYONE except like 3 close friends with my pup. He’s a Norwegian Elkhound & Poodle Mix (a hound-doodle if you will lol). If you know anything about doodles, they are a very high energy/high stimulation breed, and also insanely smart! But also takes soooo much time to train them and consistency is absolutely key with them. With that being said, he learns (and unlearns) QUICK. For example, he used to be a HUGE jumper, and being a bigger lanky dog, it’s not a behavior I would like to be reinforced. After months of training it out of him (yes months…) he was finally not jumping or lunging at people! Yay!! But then… I had a sitter once that told me she made sure he didn’t jump… my security cameras said otherwise. And him jumping scratching my face when I came back home… also said otherwise. However, with Destinee that was absolutely opposite of the case!! She still implemented training with him, adhered closely to his med/eating schedule, played with him, gave him his treats/bones, and just took such great care of him. I could tell just from the pictures (which were also 👩🏼‍🍳💋) that he was being well taken care of and those behavioral boundaries were still being maintained!! When I got home, I swear he was even calmer than when I had left!! I will definitely be a repeat client for Destinee, and am so happy she was the one that responded to my request 🩵”

About: I am a lifetime animal lover. I currently have a Rottweiler, and a shepherd mix. I also have two cats, one is part Maine coone and the other is a Manx. I love interacting with cats and dogs and would love to help take care of them for you. I have experience with providing medicine and wound care to animals as well as bathing and trimming nails with the ones that cooperate. 🙂 I currently work full time 7:30-4. My children are also very active so I can tend to be busy certain times of the year. But when I am available I would be able to stop by or take your dog for a walk during the week.
