“Our first experience using the Rover app and it went very well! This is the way to go for short or long term pet boarding. Great communication! Our dogs were well taken care of and had plenty of space to play. Highly recommend Destinee!”

“Rachel, and her amazing family, are fantastic with our dog Lucky. It doesn't matter size or breed, Rachel treats them like family members. They have plenty of outside space for playtime and a cozy living room for the pups, even when it's is freezing cold or extremely hot. Your dog will be on vacation when they stay at Rachel's! 10 stars!!”

“Very nice and communicative! Rubal was very responsive and kept me updated with my pets care. She was very reassuring if a question or concern would arise, it was resolved in a timely manner and with care. Her family was also very kind. Would gladly book again!!”

“I’ve never left my dog with a stranger, so I was apprehensive about leaving him with Robin, but she was great! She sent me text messages and pictures every other day. My dog seemed really content when I picked him up! I will definitely use Robin again and recommend her to friends!”

“Everything was great. I appears that my dog Jake like it there. He got a lot of attention. It also appears that Sheila and her husband enjoyed having Jake at their house for six overnights. Sheila sent me a lot of pictures and kept me informed about how Jake was doing. Sheila said that she primarily takes small dogs, but that she will occasionally take a big dog like Jake (Lab), as long as the big dog is well behaved. I believe that Jake was well behaved at her house. I will have to check with Sheila to see if she will take him again in the future.”

“This was my first DogVacay experience and I am so impressed with Mary! I live 30 minutes away from Mary, but it was worth the drive. You can tell when you walk into her home that Mary and her husband are truly dog lovers and take good care of their/other's pets. She sent me picture nearly daily while we were away for 8 days which was so nice to just know how our dog was doing and to simply see him. She was very flexible with drop off and pickup. I even had to change our dates and she had no problem accommodating the change request. I intend to use Mary moving forward for all of my vacations as Wrigley was very happy to stay with her and was taken such good care of. Near or far from your home, Mary is worth the drive if you want your pet to be in a very loving home! ”

“Sam was great watching our border collie puppy, Kya. Sam was accommodating when our airline changed our flight as well. Kya came home happy and healthy. Sam and her family, including their dog, all seemed easy going which helped with our dog. I’d definitely recommend Sam for boarding your dog.”

“Jackson came through for me at the last minute and watched my dog right before I had to leave for vacation. He provided great communication and really saved our trip. Thanks so much, Jackson!”

“Kamela was amazing! She did such a good job at introducing my dog into her home and she made my dog feel so comfortable. She kept me updated the entire time I was out of town and I felt so safe having my dog stay with her. I would recommend Kamela to any dog owner!”

“Chris was great!! He had no problem showing us where Daisy would be staying, sent us updates and pictures. Daisy was very happy when she came home, with other sitters/kennels she would be sad for 2-3 days. Will definitely be using again!!”

“My dogs did fantastic with Nichole! My dogs have issues at meal times, and she made sure my one dog got all her meals! I won’t ever take my girls anywhere else—and will hunt her down and drag her back if she tries to move away! Getting 7-8 pictures every day of my girls playing with the other dogs—they were having so much fun running around, even some on the couch with Nichole getting loving attention. You just aren’t going to get that everywhere. She is the best!”

“Christine did a great job while watching Oliver! She kept clear, prompt, and timely communication and she made Oliver feel like he was a part of her family. We will definitely use Christine again in the future.”

“Julie was wonderful! She was so good with our mini goldendoodle Molly. We got frequent updates and photos to show us that all was going well. It helped us to have a fun and relaxing trip to know that Molly was being taken care of so well by her. Her home and fenced yard are very nice, and she followed our directions well about Molly's care. She is very pleasant. We will contact her again for dogsitting. A+ job! Thanks, Julie!”

“Copper had so much fun- I know he especially liked snuggling with Lucy. Brook was great and even dropped Copper off at home-she was flexible for schedule changes too!”

“Addison was so accommodating, easy to communicate with and sweet with my dog! She sent updates and pictures, and took great care of her. Highly recommend and hope to book with her again in the future :)”

“I do not have enough wonderful things to say about Tilmer and his family! He had fantastic communication, and photos everyday with an update! I felt like my pup truly fit into their family and was so well loved over her week stay! Next time I go out of town I won’t have to even think about where my fur baby will stay, Tilmer!!”

“Our dogs loved staying at Lauren’s! She took great care of them both and always sent pictures and frequent updates. Our dogs loved playing with her dogs and running in her fenced in yard. We will definitely rebook!!”

“Harley was exhausted after his stay with Deborah & Jeffrey as he was probably playing non-stop! Deborah put my mind at ease that Harley was being loved on with frequent photo updates of Harley. This was my first time leaving Harley and using Rover and was a wonderful experience.”

Rachel and her family were amazing as always! Murphy was having some stomach issues when he first got to their house (no fault of them, just a sensitive stomach and new food) and she was able to give him something to help. She always goes above and beyond for our pup!

Hi Rui, Just wanted to say thank you for taking such great care of my dog Rubí! I really appreciated all the pictures and videos you shared—it was so nice to see them having such a good time while I was away. It looked like Rubí and Edison became great friends and had lots of fun together! Thanks again for all the care, updates, and attention. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing Rubí was in such good hands. Thanks so much! 🐾

We loved Nicole and her hubs. They were VERY communicative and knowledgeable about dogs and great with how they run their business. We could tell they were thoughtful about the comfort, temperament styles and importance of dogs feeling safe and loved. Our pup didn't even want to leave! He rolled over on his back to stay when he realized it was time to go! LOL. They sent updated pictures throughout his stay too. We'd recommend and will be using them from now on.

Emily is a great person to have to watch your pet. She took extremely great care of our dog, Shiloh, going above and beyond what is "normally" expected from sitters. I would, and will, choose her for a pet sitter anytime. If there was a rating system for her services, she would get the highest rating from myself. I am very pleased with Emily.
I would give Melissa more than 5 stars if I could. I could see immediately that Melissa and her son, Aedan, would be a good fit for my Lola 🐾. Melissa was very responsive to my inquiries and super flexible when I needed to change Lola’s petsitting arrangements several times and then from Daycare to Boarding at the last minute. She and Aedan spent a lot of time with Lola and Melissa sent frequent updates. I highly recommend 😊

As of August 2026, there are 883 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Whiteland. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
99% of Whiteland sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Whiteland landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Whiteland home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Whiteland.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Whiteland sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
