“Our dog loved Shelly as soon as she walked through the door. Shelly delivered the care we were hoping for, especially with this being our first time with Rover. We were definitely nervous, but she helped keep those feelings at bay. Definitely will use her again.”

About: I grew up with cats, rescued mutts, and Great Danes. As an adult I had 2 cats. After they passed, I decided I would foster or pet sit! I have experience with puppies, kittens, and adults! I currently regularly pet sit 2 different pit mixes. One is high energy and the other has a lot medical needs. I am comfortable with sleeping with the pet or crating. I am also comfortable and experienced with administering medication. I am able to basically move into your home to help provide consistent care, other than doctors appts I will be in the home with your pets! I will inform you of any replanned times the pet would be alone before accepting the job. I currently work on Tuesday and Wednesday pet sitting, taking care of a preschooler and doing housework. I am also part of team of family members that care for our elderly and fragile grandparents. I am rarely absolutely needed, as we are a team and take turns. I am a fiber artist (crochet and knitting) and sell my projects online and at 4-8 hour craft markets some weekends. I’m able to work my schedule around your needs EXCEPT for Tues and Wens DAYS! I have a lot experience with special medical needs pets. This has made me vigilant in assuring multiple times a day that the pets environment is free from risks. I makes sure they are comfortable, and try hard to keep them relaxed as being with a stranger can cause stress.

“Ashley was great with our two dogs. We had a last minute need and Ashley came by the night before to meet our dogs and arrived the next day on time and took great care of them. Great experience from start to finish!!”

“Christina was great stopping in to feed and let my dogs out. She did great with one of my dogs who is very anxious. She also helped feed my guinea pigs while I was away which was very appreciated!”

“Sydney watched our high energy puppy and our cat in our home when we went out of town. She was so great with them and I did not worry at all about them while we were gone. I will definitely use her again!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful!! She's like family to us now. Great communication and was wonderful with our dog and cat. First time visit/stays are always the hardest, and our kiddos were happy and content when we came home. We feel like we have our freedom again!! Thank you so much Elizabeth! :)”
“Once again - Sarah did an amazing job! She communicated well and took wonderful care of our fur babies and our home. She even helped with some gardening! Sarah is welcome anytime!!”

“Abigail helped me on short notice in an emergency situation and was able to take over care when another sitter didn’t show. She did an incredible job giving updates, following care instructions, and loving on the cats. She left the home better than she found it and her deep care for animals is evident in both her words and her actions!”

“Lillian was wonderful with our 3 large dogs. She checked on them often while we were out of town, took them on walks and cleaned up their messes. She was also great about sending updates and photos while we were gone. She left our house in great shape as well. We would definitely book with her again.”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for pets at every stage of life, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention. As a longtime owner of both cats and dogs, I understand the different personalities, needs, and routines that come with each. I’m comfortable handling a wide range of situations, whether it’s caring for a 2-month-old kitten, managing the needs of a senior 100 lb dog, or looking after multiple pets at once. I’ve provided both in-home stays and drop-in visits, so I can adapt to whatever works best for you and your pet. I’m especially attentive to each pet’s unique temperament—whether they need playtime, structure, or just a calm, reassuring presence. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work a 9–5 schedule Monday through Friday, with Wednesdays at home, and I keep my evenings open so I can fully dedicate that time to the pets I’m caring for. My job is also flexible, which allows me to step out during the day for check-ins, feedings, or visits when needed. This means I can provide consistent care throughout the day—not just before and after work. When caring for pets, their well-being is my top priority. I understand that while their owners are away, I become their main caregiver—the person they rely on for comfort, safety, and attention. Whether I am staying with them or checking-in on them, I dedicate my full attention to their needs. This includes feeding, playtime, exercise, and providing a calm, reassuring presence. I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable, maintaining their routine as closely as possible so they experience minimal stress while their owners are away.
About: I've taken care of pets all of my life. From puppies all the way up to seniors. I love them all. They all need someone to care for them and feel the extra love especially when their normal family is away. I'm currently flexible and can fit pet care into my daily routine. Occasionally, I will pick up an additional job. But that shouldn't interrupt with taking care of what I love to do and that is to take care of fur babies. I would rather take care of your pets in their environment due to the fact that they are most comfortable there. I also have two fur babies of my own. But I feel as if fur babies are normally happy in their own surroundings.
“Hannah was very flexible, meet n greet, and is kind, confident, and understanding. She clearly has experience with loud and large dogs as well. I would trust her to watch the dogs again!”
“So grateful for Damica during our time away. She always sends pictures and took our boys out on walks and visits to the dog park. We never have to worry about being away and our boys not being taken care of! 💜”
“Andrew was an absolute godsend while we were away!!! He took the BEST care of our dog, and sent us cute photos and videos each day! He truly listened to what we wanted for our dog (who is older and a little stubborn) and went above and beyond in terms of caring for her like his own beloved pet. He checked in with us to ensure that we were ok with certain things, and did an amazing job of keeping us reassured that things were all a-ok, which was particularly nice since it was our first time experiencing an in-home pet sitter. He left our house in nicer condition than when we left it. I’m pretty sure my dog misses him now that we are home! We have already told him we will be using his services again in the future!!!”

About: Howdy! My name is Sydney and I am an Indianapolis native. I grew up with cats, dogs, hamsters, and bunnies. I started babysitting in middle school and then moved to overnight house/dogsitting in high school. I have stayed overnight anywhere from 1-10 days at many family friends and neighbors homes. I have experience with a nice range of breeds. German shephard (I grew up with a female shep!), pitties, golden doodles AND retrievers, dachshunds, shi tzus, pomeranians, australian shephards, labs, mixed breeds, etc. I am comfortable and experienced with daily walks, feeding and medication schedules, bathing (at Pet Supplies Plus!),and overnights. I am a very reliable and friendly person so you can depend on me showing up on time with a smile. I adore all animals as if they are my own. I even have affection for snakes, specifically ball pythons. I work M-F in a school main office so I am available on all breaks, evenings/early mornings, weekends, and overnights. I am happy to try to give bathroom breaks during my lunch if you are in Perry Township. I get two weeks for spring, fall, and winter break. As well as an 8 week summer. Safety and trust is very important to me. I will never unleash your dog in public, I only feel comfortable doing so if there is a secure fence that I know they can't jump. I send photos and text updates as often as you'd like. I follow rules and instructions to a T and have no problem asking questions if they arise. I will make sure your pet has clean water and constant supervision.
“Julia was great with our two little dogs-one a senior. She communicated every day, kept our house in order, and started laundry before we returned. We would recommend her with no hesitation.”

“Stacey was amazing and went above and beyond for me and my pets. She mentioned she has 3 large dogs and her experience really showed. At one point I ran out of dog food and she offered to go pick some up. She also watched over my guinea pig and took great care of him, since she has rabbits of her own. I will definitely be booking her again and again!”

“Kimberly was so good with our little cat! She was so kind and took great care of our home and fur baby! She even gave our cat who doesn’t isn’t good with medication her meds twice a day and sent us pics of our baby while we were on vacation! Will absolutely be booking with her again!”

Shakarra watched our 2 dogs and 2 cats for 2 weeks. I’ve never been away from them for that long. She kept me up to date and was very responsive. I appreciated having someone in our home who everyone was comfortable with. She came over 2 times before actually staying to make sure things were going to work. My dogs took to her immediately. I ran into some travel delays but Shakarra was flexible and kind enough to do an additional stop by to make sure everyone was good. She tidied up the house before she left which was icing on the cake for our arrival home. I feel so grateful to have found a great pet sitter on the first go around.
