About: I have had cats throughout my 25 years of life. My family got their first dog in 2015; however, my grandparents have had dogs since 2012. I have given dogs and cats baths; as well as clipped their nails. I have dog sat for two family's for about 6 years. While I am not a certified trainer, I have taught my family dog to sit, stay/wait, lay down, touch my hand on command, and even to press buttons! I have open availability Monday through Fridays. On the weekends I run my own business and will have limited availability but will accept offers as they come. On Sundays, I volunteer at a cat rescue in the mornings. I treat all pets with caution, I do not want to make them uncomfortable! I let the animal approach me first. If the animal appears to be uncomfortable but gentle, I will sit on the floor at their level and allow them to smell me first.
“Maddie was great! Always on time, great communication. My cats were totally comfortable with her from the first meeting. They were always fed, played with, and litter cleaned. And sends great pictures!😻”

“Maja took great care of our two pups! In addition to being flexible when schedules changed, she gave very detailed reports and took plenty of photos. We knew our dogs were in good hands!”

“Another perfect sitting by Ellen! She communicates well and even helpfully brought in a package for us. The dogs love her and are ready to see her whenever she arrives to play with them.”

“Heather took great care of my Toby! She is very kind, flexible, and pays attention to details. She did an excellent job updating us about Toby with lots of pictures:)”

“There is a reason why Christy has so many repeat customers and excellent ratings. She strikes me as a cat whisperer! We have a sweet, cuddly 14-year-old nervous cat who usually hides from people she doesn't know well. By day 3 or 4 of Christy visiting, our cat was seeking out Christy and requesting as much attention as Christy could provide. Christy's reports were great, and we returned to a much happier kitty than we have after previous trips. I highly recommend Christy to care for your pet!”

“Hannah was amazing with our cat while we were gone for 10 days! She provided pictures and updates. Emmi loved her and the new toy she brought! We will definitely rebook when we leave town. Hannah is really reliable and so good with animals!”

“Taylor was great with our dog! Our dog is 90 pounds, a puller, and does not do well with other dogs. I always get nervous allowing other people walk her. Taylor did great with her! I loved all the pictures she sent. The pictures and the notes reassured me that our dog was doing well! I will definitely book with Taylor again!”

About: I worked at a cat cafe for 4 years, and have been working at a small-animal veterinary clinic for the past 2 years. I’ve provided pet sitting many times over the last 6 years, and am currently working towards my master’s degree in animal science and behavior. I’m well-rounded in proper animal husbandry, medication administration— from pills to insulin injections— nutrition, and animal behavior. My goal is to eventually become certified for training, but I do already know basic behavior modification techniques. I’m regularly taking care of animals, from my personal pet to the animals at my veterinary job. I love and treat every animal like they’re my own, yours included! I am very patient when it comes to animals. If your cat is slow to warm up to me, I will give them their space and wait for them to come to me for pets and play. If your dog is wanting to take their time to smell around outside, I will give them that sensory enrichment. I am an advocate for animal welfare, so I will ensure your pet is as happy as possible while you’re gone!
About: I was born with pets, cats and dogs. My best friend, a vet tech, has trusted me with her elderly husky and the 2 young ones. All adopted! I loved it so I adopted my own Husky, Kingston (that’s him in my photo). I know training is for the pet AND the human. Exercise, affection, and discipline are keys for a happy pet life, not aggression or cruelty. Pet health and grooming are second nature to me, and I have access to a licensed veterinary opinion in case of emergencies. Ask me anything if concerned, I want to be friends with your fur babies! I work 8 hour days during the week, off by 5. That leaves my availability at evenings and weekends for now. Pet has a LOT of energy? We’re gonna burn it! I go for walks 30 minutes twice daily, morning and evening. Feeding times are specific to the dog so I communicate with you on their routine so they can continue it and still fit in at puppy daycare! I have a two story duplex in Irvington, where I’m surrounded by parks and the Pleasant Run Trail. Pet has a LOT of energy? We’re gonna burn it! I go for walks since the husky boy needs it, and he is trained and friendly and likes to play with friends if allowed so he’s as excited as I am! We take 30 minute walks twice daily, morning and evening. We go to the the dog park (broad ripple or clay terrace) on Sundays. Feeding whenever convenient for the pet I’m watching, some dietetic pets need a strict timeline so we stick to that. Playtime when they are ready to play, but also an organized routine of games and training during that time. Whether I come to you or they come to me, the environment and schedule is pet friendly.
“Gabrielle helped us out with a last minute out of town request to check in twice a day for our two cats. We received reports at each visit and our girls seemed to start to warm up to their new sitter by their last visit. Good communication and very prompt response. Would recommend and rebook with Gabrielle in the future.”

“Stacey is my go to. She is reliable, kind, and most importantly, my kitty Lucy loves her. Has helped me on the whim when I’ve needed someone to drop on when something unexpected came up. Will always check with her first for any pet sitting needs.”

About: When I was a kid, I helped my grandfather on his horse farm and would take care of the barn cats. Since then, I have lived in a 3 cat household where two of the cats did not get along and created a schedule so they could both be happy. I can bathe a pet myself if needed, as I have done this for my cat Juniper. My grandparents have two smaller dogs Ginger and Cleo I have cared for for a few days. We have fun taking walks and exploring nature. For bigger dogs, when I was in high school, I would help with the neighbors' Bernese mountain dog Abby, and I have spent a lot of time with my aunt A's doodle Bruno. I have also spent time with medium size dogs, as my aunt B has two pitbull mixes, that are very affectionate and love the dog park. I know that all dogs have different needs and I try to met them. This means that with my uncle’s older pup we won’t do any jogging, but with my aunt’s younger doodle we will definitely jog a bit. I work in education and currently have my days free to spend with furry friends. This means I can be flexible when it comes to pet sitting and spending the night. I am a very friendly, clean, and organized person and I’ll make sure that if I am coming over to your home that food is served and any accidents are cleaned up. As long as you give me a list of what needs to happen for your furry friend, I’ll make sure it gets done. From crating your pup to tricking your pet to take their medication For pups, I will ensure they’ll get the amount of walks needed a day, as well as some outdoor playtime with whatever games they like to play. I will make sure that there is no poop left on our path and check to make sure there isn't anything concerning. Plus, I will feed them according to their schedule. For cats, I will ensure that they get two square meals a day and that their water is never empty. I will also pet and play with them as much as they desire because some cats are more recluse than others. I will also scoop out their litter box, and clean out the litter box if needed
“Angela has been our go-to sitter for over a year now. When our senior dog's health took a sudden downturn shortly before a trip, I almost canceled the trip to stay home and care for her. But Angela put my mind at ease and handled my pup's special needs with love and skill while I was away. Our pets adore and trust Angela, and we are truly thankful to have her.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl. I have years of experience with dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and turtles. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their pets. This includes feeding, watering, bathing, administering medications, walking, and playing with your pet. I gave lots of experience with senior dogs and dogs with disabilities. I have a 6 ft privacy fence and a playful gentle dog to keep your pet entertained. There is plenty of space in my home for your pet rome and play. The dog park is in walking distance and we go for walks daily. Our home can be a home away from home for your beloved pet. I am currently working but I have plenty of free time in the afternoon, evening, weekends, and during holidays. I am an elementary teacher and if I’m not working I am at home with my son and dog. I have a fully fenced in yard that consists of a 6 ft privacy fence. I will feed, water, and bathe them as needed. I can administer medications and any individual healthcare as needed. I can take daily walks and even trips to the dog park. I have experience with all sizes and different breeds.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and when I started living on my own I realized they’re more important than I ever realized. I have a rescue pup who is very nervous but sweet. I am a graduate student in the home stretch of my degree, and I can use the money and the reason to get out of the house. I have a fenced in yard and a crate trained dog. I’m always good about on time flea/tick/heartworm and yearly vaccinations, as well as being educated in dog distress signs and illness signs.
“I can't thank our wonderful cat-sitter, Amanda enough for the exceptional care she provided to our beloved feline while we were away. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she had a genuine love for animals, and our cat instantly warmed up to her. She went above and beyond to ensure our cat felt comfortable and loved in our absence. The regular updates and photos she sent us reassured us that our furry friend was in the best hands. We returned home to a happy and well-cared-for cat, and we couldn't be more grateful. Without a doubt, we will be booking her services again in the future. Highly recommend!”
