About: I have professional experience working in veterinary medicine and providing compassionate, attentive care to animals with a wide range of personalities and needs. Through my experience, I have developed skills in recognizing changes in behavior, safely handling pets, administering medications when directed, monitoring overall health and comfort, and helping reduce stress during care. I’m comfortable caring for energetic pets, senior pets, and animals that may need extra patience or attention. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust, communication, and consistency are. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in experienced and caring hands. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with Thursdays and weekends off, but I still make time to provide dependable pet care around my schedule. I’m available for morning drop-ins, evening visits, overnight care when planned in advance, and have greater flexibility on Thursdays and weekends for longer visits, walks, and quality time. I understand how important routines are for pets and will work with owners to make sure their pets receive consistent, attentive care that fits their needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. With my background in veterinary medicine and hands-on animal care experience, I pay close attention to behavior, routines, and any signs that a pet may be stressed or uncomfortable. I believe trust is built through communication, consistency, and treating every animal with patience and respect. I work to create a calm, safe, and positive environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away, and I provide updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring and experienced hands.

“Molly was amazing with our cats! She was very communicative with us, gave our cats lots of love and care, and stayed longer when one of them started feeling unwell while we were away. Nothing but good things to say about her!”

“Grace was awesome with our pup while we were away for the past week. She was dependable and communicated updates, sent pictures etc. Our dog is 13 and was very spoiled by her daily walks , playtime and did well taking his meds with her. We would definitely recommend Grace for your dog sitting needs and we hope to use her again in the future !”

“Nicole was great to work with, especially since our travel plans changed at the last minute. She kept us updated on our diabetic cat, and even gave him his twice a day insulin shots. We would definitely book Nicole again.”

About: Hi! I’m Sidnie, a proud pet parent to three dogs and two cats. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and unique needs, and I understand how stressful it can be to leave them in someone else’s care. One of the biggest reasons I joined Rover is because two of my own dogs have anxiety in boarding and daycare settings. Finding someone I trust to care for them in the comfort of our home has always been important to me, and I want to provide that same peace of mind for other pet parents. Although I’m newer to Rover, I’ve spent the past eight years caring for my own pets every day. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each pet’s individual routine and personality. I work downtown Indianapolis on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and remotely the rest of the week, giving me the flexibility to spend more quality time with pets throughout the day. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’ll tailor my care to what makes them happiest. You’ll receive regular updates and photos throughout your booking, and I’ll treat both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I give my own. I work remotely most of the week, which gives me the flexibility to spend more time with pets throughout the day. On Mondays and Thursdays, I’m in downtown Indianapolis from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and I work from home the rest of the week. Every pet is different, so I carefully follow your care instructions and keep their routine as consistent as possible. Whether it’s medications, feeding schedules, potty breaks, or favorite walking routes, I’ll care for your pet the way you do.

“Heather was great with our dog Kemah. She is scared of storms and wind and Heather went out of her way to make sure she was comfortable and safe. Great communication and very reliable. Thanks Heather!”

“Amazing! Ariana put my mind at ease being away from my pup. She updated me every step of the way with pictures and sweet messages. My Indy enjoyed his stay and will be back!!”

“Dorian is so great with our puppy! She always leaves a little note and picture about the walk and she goes the extra mile (picking up the pieces of a paper plate that our puppy destroyed while we were gone, etc.). I highly recommend her!”

“Allison was great! She took the time to make friends with my anxious dog, who at first hid from her when she stopped by. She was great with communication and did everything we asked. I would definitely use her again!”

“Jessica is great! She took wonderful care of my kitty. She did daily drop ins to play with my kitty, ensure she had her food, litter management, and of course chin scritches. I would highly recommend Jessica!”

“Lauren helped me in a pinch for a last minute drop in. She was quick to do a meet and greet. My dog Ted was very excited to meet her and enjoyed his time with her during her drop in!”

“Tilmer is an excellent sitter! He took great care of my cats and provided detailed drop in updates. He sent photos and let me know how they were doing. He even took care of any messes they made in the kitchen and brought packages in for us. He’s very kind and the kitties loved him! Will definitely book with him again.”
“Tania has become apart of the family. She is one of the most loving and wonderful friend to us and to our puppies. Since Tania has been watching Logan and Thanos they have improved with walking on the leash and potty training. Tania is top notch and we know our babies are in good hands.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Homecroft
Molly provided exceptional drop-in care for our cat, Thomas, while we were away on vacation for a week. Thomas is a very affectionate house cat, but he’s usually hesitant around new people. I wasn’t sure if he would come out during her visits, but I needed someone responsible who would maintain his normal routine by providing fresh food and keeping his litter box clean. Molly exceeded every expectation. She sent us daily photos of Thomas enjoying snuggles and playtime with her, along with thoughtful updates about his behavior and how he was adjusting. It was clear she took the time to make him feel comfortable and cared for. Knowing Thomas had companionship and comfort while we were away gave us peace of mind. We would recommend Molly to anyone looking for a dependable pet sitter who is truly in tune with cats. She is a natural with them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Homecroft. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
