Availability
While pet sitting is my main gig, I have various commitments that require me to leave 2-6 hours at a time. If your pet cannot be left alone for 6-10 hrs total per day, I’m not the best sitter for you. If you don’t want overnight care, Im happy to discuss extended drop ins billed as housesitting. Hopefully this clarity can bring peace of mind!

Please disclose any active illnesses, resource guarding, bite history, or reactivity your pet displays when you inquire about my services. I provide daily pictures and written updates on pet behavior, 1-2x per day. I am honored to provide care in your home. This is especially helpful for older dogs and reactive dogs who don’t handle change well. They will be so happy to see you when you come home and likely not require “unwinding” after an overstimulating boarding environment. I treat each stay as better than my own house and I’m happy to clean up after your babies as needed. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

Please feel free to share as many details about your pet as you’d like! The more info I have, the safer and relaxed we’ll both feel! In addition to any safety precautions (especially in multiple pet households), I’d love to know any specifics about your animals and your care expectations. For example does one like chin scratchies and the other prefers head pats?
A typical day
I’m happy to engage in play however your pet prefers! I enjoy helping dogs maintain training routines and providing creative enrichment activities like sniffaris, shredding paper, and hide and seek. If there’s a specific way your pet likes to play or a toy they love, I’d love to hear about it!

Pet care experience
My own reactive dog and experience as a mental health professional has led me to learn so much about cat&dog behavior. I know the anxiety of leaving your pet with someone who might not know all their quirks. I hope working with me will put your mind at ease. I have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes and diverse temperaments. I am knowledgeable about pet body language and care and share insight with pet parents as needed. I am comfortable with administering medications and have experience with puppies and elders. I have owned and have experience caring for cats, dogs, and rabbits. I’ve had two long term fosters of cats with differing temperaments (one was the sweetest and one was possibly feral oops) and I currently have two dogs, a stubborn sweet great pyr and a goofy reactive mystery breed. I use positive reinforcement and balanced training (verbal corrections) with my girls and happy to bring those values of structure and collaboration to my care of your pets.
