About: I officially started dog sitting four years ago, taking care of dogs that have personalities that range from requiring very active playtime to cuddle bugs that would rather lounge and receive attention. I currently have a flexible schedule, which means I can adapt my schedule to your pet’s needs. About: I have had dogs my entire life. They have had all types of personalities which has helped me learn what is best for each dog. I currently have a dog with super high anxiety, so I am willing to work with similar dogs as I understand patience is necessary. I have also wanted my aunts 3 large dogs on several occasions! I love every type of dog and cannot wait to work with them! I am currently taking an online course from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available 7 days a week and can usually work around different times for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or pet care needs. Since my coursework is online, I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for and give them plenty of attention. I’m happy to help with morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend care, and I can be flexible with last-minute needs when possible. My open schedule allows me to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they get the care, exercise, and attention they’re used to. I care for pets like they’re my own by giving them attention, patience, and a routine they’re comfortable with. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medication, and anything else their pet needs. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a safe environment, and plenty of love and playtime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure the home is clean and secure before I leave. I’m also happy to send photo updates so owners can feel confident their pets are doing well.
“Claire was absolutely wonderful! We needed Claire twice a day for an entire week. Our dog has been the only pet in our home for several years and she likes her alone time a lot so a Pet Hotel was not going to be a good fit for her. At the last minute I found Rover and decided to give it a try. It was super easy to look though our choices, contact which "petgivers" we liked, and then book the days and times we needed. Claire accepted our booking and even came over a couple hours later to meet Brownie, we were leaving the next day super early. Not only did Claire accept us with a last minute booking but she came to meet Brownie that night and she was super sweet and very professional. I can't say enough good things about her, so here are a few: - She was very prompt with the times we had scheduled. - She communicated with us about things, for instance the temp dropped to low 30's which we didn't plan for and had not turned on the heat, she contacted us to let us know the temp in the house was 50 degrees and asked if we wanted her to turn the heat on. - She went above and beyond our expectations. - Most importantly our Furry Family Member loved having her around. I would definitely use Claire again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to look in on their furry loved one.”

Raven really liked Jamie! She’s usually very shy and tends to run and hide whenever we have guests, so it meant a lot to see her feel so comfortable with Jamie. Jamie is wonderful with cats, and she sent the sweetest photos and videos while I was away. I highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
