I am a graduate student at IUPUI, so I have a fairly flexible schedule. I am available to give your pets walks and attention several times a day! I will typically be available early and mid morning, late afternoon, and all evening. I am available for house-sitting any evening of the week, unless otherwise indicated on my calendar.

I have experience with house sitting and always leave living areas neat and pets happy! When dropping in to walk or feed animals, I make sure all needs are met and your home is secure before I leave. I am communicative and always available to provide updates and answer questions. Whether your fur baby loves pets and cuddles, or is a bit more skittish, I am ready to meet them where they are and provide the level of attention they need to feel most comfortable and secure. I believe my own spoiled kitty would attest to how much I love animals!

Please let me know if you dog or cat has any special needs or personality traits I should know about. I am comfortable taking care of animals of all temperaments, but please let me know if I should prepare to be gentle with skittish and/or sensitive pets. It's also helpful to know if dogs are reactive when we spot other good boys out on walks, so I can come prepared with distracting treats to keep them focused.
A typical day
Engagement and fun is a sure thing when I spend quality time with your pets! Whether we play fetch, chase, or the magical laser pointer (a favorite of feline friends), dogs and cats will be intellectually stimulated and tired out in the best way. Brisk or leisurely walks around the neighborhood (whichever is preferred by your doggy) are a favorite pastime of mine. I also enjoy practicing commands with dogs, and I'm happy to start with "sit" if your pups are new to this, using tasty rewards to help them learn!

Pet care experience
I began my experience pet-sitting by assisting my mother when I was a child and she would take me along for her own pet-sitting business. We cared for dogs and cats, both young and seniors, and I observed the care and attention with which she cared for animals and administered medical treatments. When I was in high school and college, I volunteered as a canine companion at my local humane society, walking dogs and maintaining their living areas. After I began college, I pet-sit on my own for family friends and acquaintances. I have welcomed a variety of pets into my own household over the years and have experience with cats, dogs, fish, snakes, and birds. I also have experience with crate and obedience training for adult dogs.

Anna always does such a great job with our three needy cats, our big lab pittie mix, and our house. So grateful to have the babies in such great hands so we don’t have to worry about anything while we’re away from home.
Anna is simply wonderful. She stayed in my home for 4 nights and cared for my three active energetic dogs. She is mature, responsible, with impeccable communication. She has a calm, easy going demeanor and all my dogs bonded with her 🩷🐾 she also went above and beyond with some requests I asked of her since I rushed out of the house to catch a flight! I am a vet tech and worked in practice over 20 years. I would highly recommend Anna for caring for your pets.
Anna always communicates with us very efficiently. She not only has gained our trust but all 3 of our animals. We are always relieved to know she is staying with us as we travel.
