“Tolu was a great person to work with. We used him on 3 different days for daycare services as we toured the city. He was very flexible with drop off and pickup times as they changed each day. Zeke loved his time with Tolu!!”

“Let me first say, I was a little skeptical about using Jackson. But once I met him, some of those worries washed away. I still worried, but throughout the day Jackson communicated and sent photos and my worries washed away. Jackson is the ultimate professional and Milo was extremely happy and pooped when we picked him up. Finding out Jackson offers other services, and I think we have found our new EVERYTHING. I'm already reaching out for a booking tomorrow.”

“I was so lucky to have found you Dayana! Penny loves going there while I work! She even tries running to the door when I drop her off in the morning which tells me she feels safe and loved while there! Thank you for all your help! Before I found you, I wasn’t able to bring penny to town with me as I didn’t have anywhere to take her while I was working. Now I can bring penny with me while I’m in town and can trust she’s being well taken care of!”

About: I've moved! If you've booked with me before, please double check my new address! I've had a lifelong fascination with animals and zoology that led me to learning as much as I could about animals. I've been particularly fond of canines, leading me to become a certified dog behaviorist in 2020. I've had 2 dogs of my own, both mid sized mixed breeds, and helped take care of family and friends pets, dogs as small as chihuahuas and large as rotties. I'm self employed and work from home. I'm very flexible and can adjust to specific feeding or medicine times, and can keep near constant supervision if need be. I feel strongly about pets being treated with kindness and patience. I enjoy cuddling and playing games with them. I'll be happy to adjust to the pets individual needs and owner requests.
About: Hi, we're Ash and Mike! In our house, dogs are considered part of the family, and yours will be treated like one of our own. We've lived with and loved dogs for many years, so we know what it's like to leave your pup with someone else, and how much it means when they're in good hands. We're comfortable with all kinds of dogs: playful puppies, high-energy dogs, smart pups who need a job to do, anxious dogs who need patience and reassurance, and seniors who need a little extra support. We're also experienced with more involved medical care, including eye drops, insulin injections, oral medications, and help with incontinence. Our schedule is flexible. Ash works from home full-time over the summer and is only out a couple of afternoons a week during the school year, and Mike is home two days a week and is hands-on with the dogs too, so your pup will have steady company throughout the day. We have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and potty breaks, and Ash runs regularly and is happy to take dogs out for exercise when appropriate. We’re equally happy to provide walks, playtime, snuggles, and always have a calm home environment to meet your dog’s needs. One note: with two young kids at home (ages 4 and 6), we can only host dogs who are comfortable around children. Pet care fits naturally into our days. Ash works from home full-time over the summer and is only out a couple of afternoons a week during the school year, so your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. Mike is hands-on with the dogs too. Between us, your pup will have steady company, regular walks, playtime, and a calm house to settle into. Ash runs and walks regularly and loves to bring visiting dogs out with her. We treat every dog like part of the family while they're here. Being away from home can be stressful for a pet, so we focus on a calm, safe, loving environment with lots of attention, affection, and supervision. Between Ash and Mike, there's almost always someone around, so your dog won't be left alone for long. Dogs are welcome to relax with us, get plenty of snuggles, and head outside often for potty breaks and fresh air. We have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time and play. We pay close attention to each dog's routine, personality, and comfort level, whether they're energetic and playful or happier in a quieter setting. We're glad to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walk routines, and any other care preferences you share. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, cared for, and as at-home as possible while you're away.
“Omg, Ian loves it here and will be coming for many more to come. Mary had informed me that he had found a favorite quiet spot on the bed and was content there and happy. He loves being with other dogs and in her environment.”
About: I’ve grew up with dogs in my house. Since I was 12 years old I was in charge of feed, bath and walk my dog. I’m available on this hours: Monday- friday: from 5:30 pm I work from home on tuesdays. (8-5pm) Sat and Sundays: all day long and night I will respect the rules that you have in your house like where that sleep or if they are allowed to be on the furniture, etc
About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility. That experience helped me become comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I work from home, which gives me flexibility throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and companionship. I love getting outside for walks around downtown Indianapolis and enjoy having a four-legged friend join me. I know every pet has different needs, so I take the time to learn their routine and preferences. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or out on a walk, I prioritize safety and I’ll keep you updated with photos along the way.
“Kathryn and Garrison were beyond amazing. We were passing through town on a road trip. We stopped in Indianapolis for the museum and they hung out with our dog while we were at the museum. They were incredibly thoughtful and generous and took wonderful care of June.”

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, but raising our mini Goldendoodle, Benny, since he was 9 weeks old has given me hands on experience with puppy training, crate training, potty training, bell training, socialization, routines, and helping dogs feel secure in a home environment. I especially enjoy working with puppies and younger dogs who benefit from consistency, structure, play, and interaction throughout the day. We also love slower paced and older dogs, though I always want to be upfront that Benny is still young and playful. I value communication, hospitality, and making sure your dog feels safe, loved, and cared for while you are away. My goal is for your dog to feel like they are staying with extended family, not just being watched. I work for myself, so I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home throughout the week. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches of time and will be part of our normal daily rhythm, including walks, outdoor time, play, cuddles, and relaxing at home. We are a calm, loving family with two kids who genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. Benny loves having dog friends around, and we enjoy creating a home environment that feels relaxed, welcoming, and engaging for dogs who enjoy companionship, affection, and structure. We have a large fenced backyard with plenty of space for dogs to run, play, explore, and potty comfortably. Inside the home, we have flexible spaces depending on your dog’s needs, including a tiled basement level for play and movement and a kitchen area that can be separated from the rest of the home for puppies or dogs still working on potty training. We also have Benny, our mini Goldendoodle, who loves other dogs and helps provide companionship and socialization throughout the day. If your dog is crate trained or needs structure overnight or while we briefly step away, we can absolutely accommodate that. We have multiple options available, including crate setups in our large bedroom for added comfort and supervision. Safety, supervision, and helping your dog feel comfortable in our home are always a priority.

About: I've been a dog and cat owner and caretaker for more than 30 years. I love spending time with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages! I currently have a German Retriever mix named Callie and a Miniature Pinscher mix named Pippa - both are spoiled rotten, love to play with other dogs and do well with cats. I also have 2 cats - Michonne and Betty White. Both do well with other cats and dogs. I'm currently home most days but will occasionally work from home. I am available to provide all services 7 days a week, unless my calendar shows that I’m unavailable due to an appointment. I live in a home that does not have a fenced in yard, but we are close to Pleasant Run trail and area parks. My Golden doodle is a little shy but gets along with all kinds of dogs and cats big and small. The cats also get along with other pets.

We’ve booked regularly with Gabe, and Darfee always has such a great time! Gabe sends photos of what Darfee’s been up to all day which is always fun to review. They also regularly go on walks. It’s obvious that Darfee is very comfortable with Gabe, as he always trots in with no hesitation at drop off. Highly recommend Gabe!

We were passing through town, wanted to have lunch with a friend and had no where to leave our dog. That’s where Tolu came through for us in such a huge way. Knowing that he would walk and hang out with our dog made meeting our friend so much easier. He was easy to communicate with, met us in a central location and our dog happy when she was returned. He was exactly on time and very flexible in addition to being friendly and obviously good with our dog. 10/10 would recommend.

Hoa was fantastic when we needed last minute care for our mini dachshund while we were visiting town. She sent me plenty of updates with photos and videos and was super responsive. My dog had a great time and seemed to get along just fine with her dog. If I lived in Indianapolis I would 100% take my dog back to her!

Kathryn and Garrison were beyond amazing. We were passing through town on a road trip. We stopped in Indianapolis for the museum and they hung out with our dog while we were at the museum. They were incredibly thoughtful and generous and took wonderful care of June.

Words cannot describe how amazing Faran has been with my dog. I am someone that is very anxious about leaving my dog with someone else. He has some separation anxiety and he is a pretty small/sensitive boy. Faran took such good care of Zuko, sending me pics throughout the day and keeping him entertained. I am really grateful!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Indianapolis commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
