About: I have cared for and lived with several dogs throughout my life. We have a female black lab named Vanta. There is someone home at nearly all times of the day, so your dogs will have free roam of the house and can go in and out of the fenced in back yard as they please! We also have an 8 year old son that loves to help! I am a preschool teacher, so I am able to do afternoon and evening visits during the week and anytime on the weekend and during school breaks. I work normal school hours, but there is another adult home at almost all times of the day. We have a fenced in yard and a doggy door into the backyard. We have a black lab and a 8 year old son, so there is plenty of opportunities for your dog to have play time and burn some energy if needed or get snuggles if they prefer that!
“Janet was absolutely wonderful! My dog Pumpkin stayed with her for the entire day for daycare, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept me updated and let me know how he was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. Janet is so kind and caring, and it’s obvious she truly loves the dogs she watches. Her sweet basset hound, Mildred, is absolutely adorable too! Pumpkin came home happy, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such great hands all day. I would absolutely book with Janet again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my little guy! 💕🐶”

About: Hi there! My name is Stacy and any dog I’ve met I have loved like my own! Growing up, I had several rescue dogs. I'm the first call for anyone I know who needs a dog sitter or walker. From pet sitting, long or short walks, boarding and of course taking care of our own pets, I’ve got experience with it all! I’ve also administered medication to dogs of all ages and sizes. Our pups were rescued as well, with little training, so teaching them tricks was always a fun time! Any specific requests for them? Let me know! I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. I always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Allow me to meet yall and lets play fetch! A move in ready kennel is available if needed. I'm located conveniently near the airport, 465, and 70 for easy drop off and pick-up! I work from home full time. I'm a total home body so staying home with dogs is a dream for me. I have a fully fenced backyard. I also have a 4 years old dog and son ready to play at all times! Dogs are family members so they are allowed on furniture and beds. I have a fully fenced yard and love to take walks daily. I am very happy to drop by for walks , potty breaks, and pets. My son excels at giving pets and love!

About: I have had pets and farm animals my entire life. I know their needs and prioritize making sure they are met. I am thoughtful, attentive and caring to all! As a full-time remote professional, pet care integrates seamlessly into my daily routine without disrupting my work. My schedule allows me to work comfortably from my home office desk while providing your dog with consistent supervision, regular companionship, and frequent outdoor breaks in my securely fenced backyard. Because I do not offer neighborhood walks, my focus remains entirely on structured indoor play, mental enrichment, and easy access to yard exercise. I strictly care for a limited number of low-maintenance guest dogs at a time. This deliberate limit guarantees that your pet fits perfectly into my balanced workday, receiving high-quality, individual attention and a premium, stress-free stay. Because I work from home full-time, your pet will enjoy a highly structured, reliable routine with constant human company. My home office setup allows me to provide continuous supervision and easy, frequent access to the outdoors throughout the day. For safety, guest pets have a dedicated, pet-proofed space separate from our family areas, and I always feed animals individually to ensure a completely stress-free mealtime. I strictly follow your specific instructions for feeding, medication, and crating to keep your pet’s routine identical to what they enjoy at home.
“Kristen and Kenneth were phenomenal! We could not have asked for a better sitter for our dog Ace. They were so welcoming, made sure everyone was a good fit, let us see where the dogs would be and helped us and our boy get acclimated to the environment! They sent updates throughout his stay and sent lots of pictures! I never once worried about Ace (and we often do as he is a very anxious dog)! Not only this, but they helped us pull off an engagement and made accommodations so that the proposal could go perfectly without us having to worry about Ace (: we will 10000% be using them again!”

“Let me first say, I was a little skeptical about using Jackson. But once I met him, some of those worries washed away. I still worried, but throughout the day Jackson communicated and sent photos and my worries washed away. Jackson is the ultimate professional and Milo was extremely happy and pooped when we picked him up. Finding out Jackson offers other services, and I think we have found our new EVERYTHING. I'm already reaching out for a booking tomorrow.”

“Brittany, was wonderful with my little Maggie and her dog Waylon was great with Maggie too!! She sent me pictures and updates which I really appreciated. I will definitely use her again!”

About: I provide structured, attentive pet care backed by professional dog training experience. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments — from young puppies learning routines to high-energy and large breeds that require confident handling. As the owner of SecureK9s, I’ve helped raise and care for over 100+ German Shepherds across the Midwest and have guided 50+ dogs through structured board and train programs. Because of this background, safety, supervision, and clear communication are always my top priorities. Dogs staying with me receive more than basic sitting — they get consistency, routine, exercise, and calm leadership in a home environment. I focus on making pets feel secure, comfortable, and cared for while keeping owners updated and confident their dog is in experienced hands. I work from home and spend my days actively caring for and working with dogs, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs in my care are never left alone for long periods and are included in a structured daily routine that includes potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, and relaxation time. Because dog care and training are already part of my everyday schedule, I’m able to easily integrate boarding, drop-ins, or daycare into my routine while maintaining a calm and safe environment. Your pet will receive regular interaction, monitoring, and care as part of my daily lifestyle. Dogs stay in a secure home with supervision, structured care, and regular walks or exercise at a nearby park just steps away. I’m Very flexible!
“As always, Hank had SO MUCH fun today with Mrs. Emily!! He got to play outside with the other dogs and dig in the dirt, and those are his most favorite things to do!! (He also got a bath after covering himself in dirt:) And mom gets to go to work worry free when Hank is with her.. We’re SOO thankful we found Mrs. Emily!! She’s the best sitter EVER!!!!”

“Libby is honest, caring & professional and we highly recommend her and will certainly be repeat customers. Libby was flexible with our schedules and does a great job communicating throughout the day. She took excellent care of our Penny over the weekend. We appreciated the updates she sent us on Penny’s day and even snapped some great shots of our puppy.”

About: I’m a military veteran who loves animals and understands how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else. I’m patient, dependable, and committed to giving your pet plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I plan my day around feeding times, walks or potty breaks, playtime, and check ins, making sure each pet receives attentive care without feeling rushed. I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, walks or potty breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions given by the owner.
About: I have grown up with and lived with pets (dogs and cats) my entire life. For over a decade I have volunteered and fostered animals through a local animal rescue. I have passed on my love for animals to my 15-year-old daughter, Piper. She started sitting for neighboring pets three years ago. Together we would love to meet you and your furry family and provide you with outstanding pet-sitting services. Pets are not just animals, they are family. And many times, we love them more than our human family and they should be treated as such. Thank you for your consideration of our services. I work from home full time and have a fenced in yard. Working from home allows me nearly constant access to care for your dog's every need during their stay with us. Also, my schedule flexibility is perfect for midday drop-in visits and walks as needed. Piper also has availability during evenings and weekends to provide extra snuggles and play time with your furry family members. Our backyard fence is a 4' aluminum fence with custom picket spacing of 2.25" which is perfect for accommodating smaller dogs and puppies. We also have a variety of crates available if your pup prefers their own safe space. We own two small dogs (Yorkie mix and a Maltese) that are very accustomed to strange dogs (fosters and occasional overnight guests) coming through our home. And Piper, who has her own neighborhood pet/house/child sitting service, is usually available to give your fur baby extra snuggles and attention as well.
About: Animals have always been part of my life. I grew up walking our family dog and my sister's dog, giving them plenty of love, attention, and outdoor time. Now I care for my own cat, who I've had for five years. I understand the patience and affection each pet needs, whether they're energetic pups or independent cats. Your pet will get the same warmth and reliability I've always given my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I'm a graduate student who loves animals and values a calm, consistent routine. I work only Friday and Saturday evenings (6pm–11pm), which means I'm fully available Monday through Thursday, plus Friday and Saturday daytime—so I have plenty of open time for walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles. My Master's program classes begin August 27th, but even after that, my schedule stays light enough that your pet remains a priority. Your pet won't just be squeezed into my day; they'll get one-on-one attention and lots of love. In my client's home, I follow your instructions exactly—feeding schedules, walking routes, medication, and any house rules—so your pet stays comfortable in their own space. I'm attentive, reliable, and treat your home with respect, keeping things clean and secure. In my own home, I'm in an apartment complex that has both a fenced dog-walking area and an unfenced walking area, so there are safe, flexible options depending on your pet's needs. I always use a leash in unfenced spaces and keep a close eye on your pet in the fenced area. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priority, and I'll make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention either way.
“My experience was great. It was very easy and smooth each day that I brought my puppy over. She seemed happy when she got home and had clearly spent some energy throughout the day! Would recommend. Thanks again!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
