About: I grew up with a dog in my home, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me. Today, my wife and I have two boys and a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so dogs are already a regular part of our family life. As a family, we’ve also helped care for dogs through the Humane Society, which has given us experience with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. That gives me flexibility throughout the day for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and check-ins. In our home, we focus on providing a safe, comfortable, family-style environment where pets can feel cared for and relaxed. For drop-ins or care in a client’s home, we’ll be respectful of the home and make sure pets have food, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and any needed care based on the owner’s instructions. We’ll also send updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing while they’re away. Before accepting a booking, we like to learn about each pet’s personality, schedule, comfort level, and any important safety details so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.

“Janet saved the day! My husband and I were staying at a Home2 Suites locally for a couple nights with Stella and Jäger as we are moving from Ohio. The dogs struggled in the hotel and we were told that they could not stay alone as they cried and whined while we were away. I found Janet on Rover late in the evening on Monday and we were able to get daycare booked for the next day while we completed our final walk through and closing on our new house. A huge weight was lifted as we know this move is a big transition for not just Stella and Jäger but also for my husband and I. I have an 8 year old son and 6 year old son who love to help me and LOVE to see their baby (our dog rocky) make new friends. My downstairs is open to any dog staying in my home and full access to my large privacy fenced in backyard. I am also very close to the b&o walking trail that animals love to go to. My dog rocky loves to share his toys and will play tug of war with dogs of any size. I work full time, i am gone early morning 7-8am and back around 6pm. My wife is at home and they’ll never be alone. I have a pretty big house, upstairs and downstair, dog gates and a large doggy door(my 100lb dog fits through it) to my big privacy fenced in backyard. I have a small pool for my dog on hot days and a screened in porch for them to be in the shade if they want to be outside but not in the sun.

About: I have cared for and lived with several dogs throughout my life. We have a female black lab named Vanta. There is someone home at nearly all times of the day, so your dogs will have free roam of the house and can go in and out of the fenced in back yard as they please! We also have an 8 year old son that loves to help! I am a preschool teacher, so I am able to do afternoon and evening visits during the week and anytime on the weekend and during school breaks. I work normal school hours, but there is another adult home at almost all times of the day. We have a fenced in yard and a doggy door into the backyard. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am well-versed in taking care of them. I love taking my dog on walks and playing fetch! I am very patient and kind, especially with animals. I am a student so especially during the summer my schedule is pretty wide open. My nights are usually free and most times during the day as well. My dog gets fed morning and night with treats throughout the day to supplement. In our home, we love lick mats, popsicles, and anything involving enrichment!
About: I have been obsessed with dogs since I was little. Always wanting to have one, pet one, and just interact with one. I currently have a GSD, who is a handful, that I love dearly. I’m currently working 12 hour shifts with a rotating schedule. My available days change every week, but I know my schedule very far out in advance. I am very mindful of doors being closed all the way before and after taking your furry baby for a walk. Will provide them with water and treats before and after. I can also put them back into their crate before leaving if required.

About: I spent time during jr. high and high school as a volunteer at a therapeutic farm. We spent time with recused animals. I learned how to groom, handle, and clean up after horses and dogs mostly. We then partnered these rescue animals with children who had been through traumatic situations. They would help each other cope with their past traumas. I also have been employed as a dog bather and animal care technician in the past. I believe due to my past experiences and my love for animals, I will be the perfect companion for your furry friend. We’ll follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, crate or sleep preferences, and any special instructions from the owner. Since I work from home, I’m available throughout the day for attention, supervision, potty breaks, and check-ins. We also have a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so we understand the importance of routine, patience, exercise, and helping dogs feel secure in a home setting. For drop-ins or care in a client’s home, we’ll be respectful of the home and make sure pets have food, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and any needed care based on the owner’s instructions. We’ll also send updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing while they’re away. Before accepting a booking, we like to learn about each pet’s personality, schedule, comfort level, and any important safety details so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
