Information Emily H. would like to know about your pet
I’m really looking forward to caring for your furbaby. To make sure they have the best experience possible, could you share any important details about their routine and preferences with me ahead of time? Some things that are especially helpful to know include: Feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions Usual walking or exercise routine Any medications or special health needs (like insulin doses or allergy care) Favorite activities, toys, or treats Any behavioral quirks or things that make them feel most comfortable Feel free to let me know anything else that you think would make their time with me more enjoyable and stress-free. I want your furbaby to feel right at home with me, and having this information really helps! ***For the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I’m not able to accept dogs who are fearful, reactive, or show signs of aggression. I want every pup to feel safe and at ease during their stay, and I appreciate your understanding!***
A typical day
When pet-sitting a dog, I love to create a day that’s full of fun, care, and plenty of attention! We’ll usually start with a morning walk to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. After breakfast, if the dog has any special care routines or medications (like insulin), I make sure to handle that with care. We’ll then spend some time playing their favorite games—fetch, tug-of-war, or maybe exploring a new toy to keep them mentally stimulated. In the afternoon, I like to take another short walk or have a backyard play session. I’m a big believer in giving dogs plenty of snuggle and relaxation time too, so if they enjoy some petting or a cozy nap, I’m happy to join them. Evenings are often quieter, with a relaxed walk to wind down and a final check to make sure they’re comfortable and happy before bed. I aim to make each day with them feel as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, filled with the same love and care I’d want for my own pets.

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Emily, and I’ve been a dedicated pet caregiver for over 20 years. From an early age, I’ve had the joy of caring for family pets, and my love for animals has only grown. I have had my own puppies, adult dogs and seniors to care for and often help friends and family with their pet-sitting needs. I have consistently worked at animal shelters for years and have fostered a variety of dogs in my home. With years of hands-on experience, I am comfortable with a wide variety of pets and their individual needs. I also love cats! I also have experience administering insulin to dogs with diabetes as well as various medications, so if your pet has special health needs, you can rest assured they’ll be in safe, caring hands. I’m committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for every pet I care for, as if they were my own. Let me know how I can help make your time away stress-free, knowing your pet is in good hands! My husband, Chris, is part of the pet-loving team here at our house! He works from home just like I do, and he's always happy to lend a hand (or a lap) when it comes to making your pet feel comfortable and cared for. He's got a big heart for animals and loves giving them the attention they need to settle in and feel at home. We also have a rescue puppy named Gus, a 15 lb mini poodle mix who’s under a year old and full of adorable, goofy puppy energy. He’s loves to make new friends and will happily play with your pup to help tire each other out. Whether it’s a game of chase in the yard or a cozy nap after a good romp, Gus is great at helping other dogs feel welcome and right at home. Reviews

Emily was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my cat and was incredibly responsible throughout the entire stay. I really appreciated all the beautiful photos she sent—they made me feel so much better while I was away. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about my kitty and spent quality time with him. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!
