Hi, I’m Maya! I’m a genuine animal lover of all species and temperaments. My current pets are a senior Rottweiler & and an energetic doodle, however I was previously a dog mom to a chihuahua and shitzu. I’ve cared for and have been responsible for animals since childhood. In the past I’ve had pet cats, birds, a turtle and bunnies, so my love for animals knows no bounds. I’m new to Rover, but I’m not new to caring for animals. I’m used to caring for older animals, as I have a 12 year old Rottweiler who has arthritis and can be temperamental. I’ve fostered dogs and cats in the past as well. I’m well versed in medication administration if that is something your pet requires. I do have a full time job, but I have availability and flexibility to take care of your babies, feel free to message me and we can figure it out :)

She was great! Very thorough with her descriptions of the check in, and provided lots of pictures! She even took the time to meet the cats (and us) before the scheduled time frame.
Eddie was a happy kitty knowing Maja was hanging out with him in the afternoon. He got his pettings, a little play time, food and water. He was living large while I was gone thanks to Maja. I would absolutely recommend Maja to others and will be asking her to hang out with Eddie in the future.
I can’t say enough good things about Maja. This was my first time using Rover, and she made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. She met with me and Taytum beforehand to ensure it was a good fit and took the time to explain how the booking, cancellation, and visit process works, which I really appreciated. From there, everything went perfectly. She was always on time and followed every instruction carefully, including feeding, crate schedule, and keeping everything secure. She also sent plenty of pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Maja truly went above and beyond in ways that you don’t often see. Taytum adored her, and it’s obvious she truly cares about dogs. I have a larger dog, and she handled her with ease and confidence. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future. If I could give her 1 million stars, I would! Thank you, Maja, for taking such good care of my fur baby!

Schedule
I am open to caring for your pet most weekdays and weekends. On weekdays I’m typically available after 3:30 to do drop ins or walks, and on weekends I have completely open availability.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for your pets I will take plenty of photos and leave you with detailed descriptions of my time with them. I use Rover sitters for my own pets, and I always appreciate when I am sent plenty of photos and summaries of how my animals are doing and I will do this for you to keep you up to date while you are away. I would prefer to care for your animals in your home as my personal pets are not fond of other dogs. I offer drop ins.
Pets
A typical day
I will follow your pets cues and go at their pace. If you have a low energy dog or cat that would prefer to be cuddled and lounge around then I’m happy to do that. If you have an active pet that enjoys walks and the outdoors, i would love to take them out and help them release that energy.
