I've loved and cared for dogs (my own and friend's) for most of my life. We grew up with a German Shephard and a Jack Russel and so I love small dogs and big dogs and everything in between. I don't currently have a dog of my own, but find a lot of joy in getting to care for the friend-dogs in my life. It's just like being the fun Aunt. My weekends are pretty low-key - I enjoy staying in and like to be home as much as possible but I love going for walks and being outside as well. For Dog-Boarding: I prefer dogs who are comfortable in a crate or very low energy. Since I’m gone again most of the day during the week and new places can be overwhelming I find that makes the stay enjoyable for everyone! I don’t have a backyard and our neighborhood has lots of walkers and dogs so they should be comfortable on a leash. For House-Sitting/Dog Walking/Drop-In Visits: I'm flexible and ready to accommodate whatever is best for your dogs (or cats) - if they need longer visits, more attention, extra love, a quick (or not quick) game of fetch, a walk or just someone to stop by and make sure they have food & water. Safety, trust & environment
I live alone and have a lot of space. I know new places can cause anxiety even for the best dogs - so I prefer they be crate trained or very low energy. I live in an apartment in a house - so it’s important that they be able to stay calm even with bumps and noises from neighbors nearby.

Schedule
I do work full time - 8/8:30 - 4:30/5. I work from home about 1 day a week right now and if I go into the office I'm home by 5:30 most days at the latest. Weekends are pretty low key for me, but at most I'd be gone for a couple hours to run errands or grab lunch with a friend. If anything is planned that will mean I'm gone more than that - I'll let you know during booking.

- I'd love to know about their energy level and what they like to do to get their energy out - do they love to play ball, fetch, do they love to wrestle, play with other dogs, or just go for a walk? I'd also probably ask how they are on a walk and around other dogs. Are they training or are there any issues/training things you're working on with them that I can help reinforce? Are there any rules about furniture or places they are not allowed. If I'm house sitting - I'd potentially need to work from your home during the week - is that ok is there wifi/space for me to work on my laptop, do you have a spare bedroom for me to sleep in?
