I spent the last year in Sitka, Alaska, pet sitting and dog walking, and I absolutely loved it. I cared for pets with a wide range of personalities and needs, including some with complex medical conditions that required medications and close attention. As a medical student, I’m calm under pressure, organized, and attentive to detail. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind.

Maxwell did a great job with our two huskies for a week while we were on vacation. We have one dog that is super anxious and nervous around new people. Maxwell took the time to earn his trust and make him more comfortable. He also administered meds to one of our dogs. Maxwell was responsive and provided daily updates. He stayed at our house, picked up after himself, and did some hair control. We would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a reliable sitter!
Max is a responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely caring pet sitter. He treats every pet with patience, kindness, and attention, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. He has been pet sitting for a few years, (mainly cats and dogs), and always followed the owner's instructions closely so that both the pets and owners have a great experience. I would feel completely confident leaving my pets in his care and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter.

Schedule
As a medical student, I spend much of my day studying from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be around pets for most of the day. I enjoy taking breaks for walks, playtime, and check-ins, so caring for pets fits naturally into my routine. Whether your pet needs company while you’re away, regular walks, medication, or just someone to give them attention and affection, I’m happy to make them a part of my day. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

I always try to keep pets on the routine they’re most comfortable with. In your home, I’ll follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special care your pet needs. I’ll also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while keeping your home clean and secure. If caring for pets in my home, they’ll have a calm, safe environment with constant supervision since I spend much of my time studying from home. I’ll provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of companionship while maintaining the schedule they’re used to. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, so I tailor my care to help them feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved.
