As the owner of SecureK9s, I’ve helped raise and care for over 100+ German Shepherds across the Midwest and have guided 50+ dogs through structured board and train programs. Because of this background, safety, supervision, and clear communication are always my top priorities. Dogs staying with me receive more than basic sitting — they get consistency, routine, exercise, and calm leadership in a home environment. I focus on making pets feel secure, comfortable, and cared for while keeping owners updated and confident their dog is in experienced hands.

Once again he took great care of my boy, this time when I handed over the leash Wakka didn’t even look back at me lol, just shows the level of comfort my dog has in his care and to me that says I made the right choice

He even took the time out of his own schedule to come meet her beforehand, learn her personality and behavior, and make sure she was comfortable with him before the walk. That meant so much to us! CJ is professional, reliable, communicates quickly, and you can tell he genuinely knows and loves dogs. He has experience with all types of breeds, big or small, and made us feel completely comfortable trusting him with our fur baby. I highly recommend CJ to anyone looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable dog walker. We will definitely be using him again! 🐾❤️
After moving cross country for a new job and leaving a phenomenal sitter behind I was reluctant to find a new sitter. Cory showed up to the initial consultation and quickly won my trust with his knowledge and professionalism. I own a giant intimidating dog and Cory stepped up to the plate without hesitation, showed clear leadership while respecting my pup and ran drills to ensure that things would go smoothly from day one. Since then Cory has showed up reliably and shares pictures and videos with me daily. I trust him in my home and with my dog!
CJ was absolutely amazing! My precious Zola has never stayed with anyone beside me and my mom, so I was sooo nervous about anyone watching her. Zola was also showing signs of being uncomfortable with strangers and growling so I was worried. However, CJ being an amazing dog trainer I knew that was exactly what my girl needed. After only one hour of meeting Zola was not pulling the leash anymore and liked CJ as well. When it was time to drop her off he gave her a space considering her temperament and looked after her. She sent videos and pictures to keep me update and I could enjoy my vacation knowing my baby was well taken care of. I’m DEFINITELY booking again and you should too! He’s legit.
He was absolutely the best, in the short time of having my dog, who was a hyper dog, was able to teach him to walk without pulling while staying right beside him and sitting when stopped, definitely amazing.
He came through for me in a pinch and was very accommodating. When everyone turned me down he was willing to board my boy who struggles with aggression towards other dogs and has even provided training to get him on the right track. My boy stayed for 3 nights and was treated like family with him, I even got daily updates at least 3 times a day and that made me even more comfortable as it was the first time my boy has been away from our family. Wakka was having so much fun with him that I couldn’t tell if he wanted to leave or not, I will definitely only go to Corey from this point for any needs I have and I’m lucky to have used his services.

Schedule
I work from home and spend my days actively caring for and working with dogs, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs in my care are never left alone for long periods and are included in a structured daily routine that includes potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, and relaxation time. Because dog care and training are already part of my everyday schedule, I’m able to easily integrate boarding, drop-ins, or daycare into my routine while maintaining a calm and safe environment. Your pet will receive regular interaction, monitoring, and care as part of my daily lifestyle.
