Hi I am Dion, and I'm here to make your time away from your pup stress-free and give your furbabies their own vacation. The way I see it, you can go with an animal boarding facility or you can go with me. At a boarding facility your sweet pup is going to be exposed to potentially dangerous situations with other animals, and they sleep in a concrete "room" that's basically a cell. I know because I have worked in them before. OR, you can let me take care of your precious pups where you won't risk they come back home with behavioral problems, they'll be pampered their entire stay with toys and treats, and they'll even have their own room with a couch and recliner to sleep in at night if they want in addition to roaming the whole house. And if there's one thing I can guarantee, it's that the price of peace is worth more than having to deal with vet costs and your poor buddy developing a lifelong problem from a boarding facility accident. There's a reason several clients have started calling my house Camp Dion. I've made my home a relaxation station for animals with its large, fenced-in backyard, couches galore, and plenty of toys and treats. I primarily board and offer doggy day care, but am inclined to walk your dogs if located in Garfield Park. I work remotely, so these fit easier with my schedule! I’ve worked in no-kill shelters (Austin Pets Alive in Texas) and dog boarding facilities, so I understand how stressful it can feel to leave your pets somewhere that doesn’t give them the attention they deserve. That’s why I treat every dog and cat in my care like family—safe, stimulated, and seen. I’m an empty nester now who just takes care of community cats after losing my own rescue pets to cancer, and Rover lets me bring that love back into my home while helping me pay off my very un-magical mortgage. 🤣💸 In Texas, I cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments, managed multi-dog playgroups (20+ doggos), and worked alongside vet techs—so I’m comfortable with basic meds, special needs, and reading animal behavior. Safety is always top priority. On walks and outings, I keep your pets away from unfamiliar animals to avoid preventable mishaps. And, I only watch multiple dogs at a time if it comes from the same client, or from families whose dogs are already friends and familiar. I’m experienced with every stage of dog and cat life, and I’d love the chance to make your pet’s day happier while you’re away! *I primarily board and offer doggy daycare, but I'm open to walks and house visits in Garfield Park, Fountain Square, Bates-Hendricks, and downtown Indy! I will likely politely reject requests outside those areas because of ease of travel. Thanks for understanding!
