“I could actually enjoy my trip and not worry about my newly diagnosed diabetic cat while he was in the care of Madison. Butters is a big scaredy cat but despite his evasiveness she administered his insulin shots twice a day without fail and even gained his trust a bit. I will book again with Madison next time I leave town! Highly recommend.”

About: Hi! I've never met a dog that didn't like me. I'm a lifelong dog dad and Atlanta native. I've worked with large and small breeds as well as young and elderly dogs that need extra care. No dog is too unruly. I'm kind, calm, and attentive. While you're on a beach somewhere in the Carribean, your dog/dogs will be having their own fun back at home. We're talking walks, snacks, playtime, photoshoots, and more. They will still miss you, but less probably. I work remotely from home and my schedule is flexible enough that I'm able to schedule plenty of visits and walks with your fur baby/s. I have a fenced in 1/4 acre yard, a lot of tennis balls, and my own fur baby, Cali. Depending on your dog's personality they will be really excited or really annoyed by Cali's happy, but overly enthusiastic energy.
“Adrienne was awesome and took great care of our cat, Penny! She went above and beyond while my wife and I were away for the holidays, and we will definitely be hiring her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for my family and my friends and overall their fur babies have loved the company while their human was away!! I currently work full time Tuesday-Saturday but I am so open to evening stop ins and I’m completely open on Sundays and Mondays morning and evening for your fur babies! I can travel to your house to feed, care for, and check in on your babies while you’re out of town! I have a cat myself and I know how important routine is for the babies and will do anything to ensure that their routine stays exactly how they’re used to it!
“Shanese did an amazing job! She took great care of my cat and even helped feed my fish. Super responsible, gave detailed updates, and made everything stress-free. Really appreciated her help!”

“Maximilian was communicative, attentive, and we would definitely trust him to watch our animals again! Thank you for taking great care of them all!”

“Paola helped us with our two dogs Remi and Rahmi and our cat Ruby last week and she was attentive, caring and wonderful! We look forward to rebooking with her for future needs and are very grateful to have found such a kind caregiver for our beloved babies. Thank you Paola for your thoughtful and compassionate communication.”

“Genevieve was absolutely amazing! She took care of my cat like he was her own. She sent endless pictures and gave him all the love he needed while I was away. Let’s just say, he didn’t miss me as much as I thought he would thanks to her! Thank you again Genevieve, you’re the best! ❤️”

“I highly recommend hiring Maria as your pet sitter! Doja and Mochi were loved and cared while I was out of country for 10 days. Maria went the extra mile by vacuuming and throwing out the trash. Thank you so much!”

“Caroline was great with my one year old cat! She noticed right away Ivy can be very shy and nervous to meet new people, yet she was incredibly patient with her and eventually made sure to make her still feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend”

About: I’ve been a pet owner since I first learned how to do long division! From transitioning a feisty chihuahua to a cuddly dog says a lot about my expertise. I will be patient and gain the trust of your bestfriend! I’m currently a sophomore at Georgia state University and my busy class schedule leaves me with Tue/Wed/Thur/S/S available to take care of your pets. My availability for Monday and Friday is limited as I have class starting from 4:30pm-6:30pm and Friday 9:00am-5:00pm after that I am free to look after and care for your animal! I will not be available to bring pets into my dorm, but I will ensure that your home is kept the way you left it either exactly the same or better!! I will ensure to follow schedule or rules you leave behind to keep your animal feeling safe, comfortable, and looked out for !
“Sergio did such a great job checking in on Holly this weekend! She’s an anxious cat, but she warmed up to him quickly. He kept me updated and made sure she was well cared for. I’d definitely book him again!”

“Lorien is awesome! She did daily drop-in visits for my pup, and he absolutely loved her. She’s caring, communicative, and took great care of my boy while I was at the office (always took great photos too). Highly recommend!”

About: In the past i have taken dogs to the dog park, long walks, and i make homemade peanut butter treats. I have house sat back when i lived in Virginia for many of my friends or their families and neighbors. My family has two dogs that i would take care of in Virginia. My grandmother owned a dog grooming business that i would stay at during the day. I have been around dogs my entire life because of this. When i watch my friends dogs or anyone’s dogs i play with them and do everything i can with them as if they are my own. I enjoy taking care of animals and making someone’s life a little bit easier by helping them out when needed.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Atlanta
Anisha handled our pets well and kept us updated throughout our vacation. She stepped in to cover the morning shifts when our morning sitter failed to arrive on the first day, despite being assigned only to evenings. She continued those mornings for the rest of the trip. She was certainly a lifesaver!

Max has been extremely reliable for years now for Mela and I. Simply couldn’t ask for a better sitter to check in with her while I’m out, and she loves the rubs and play given. One of my favorite things about the experience has been the photos with updates I get, especially the Polaroids left as a surprise. Keep him in mind when booking, just leave time for us!

Mike was great for our pup Hazel. He was prompt, detail oriented and went above and beyond in caring for our dog. He even volunteered to pick up some food for her when she ran out after one of his drop-ins! Would highly recommend Mike and look forward to booking him in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Atlanta with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
