“Stacie went above and beyond with taking care of our older and slightly grumpy cat Dutch! She cleaned and cared for our home and pet like it was her own and honestly, she is just a wonderful person with the best energy! We felt completely at ease and comfortable with Stacie taking care of our baby while we were away. She also sent amazing photos and was very detailed in her updates and messages throughout her visits. Thank you Stacie!”
“Thoughtful care and attention was given to our furry friend. The updates were also quite fun to read (loved the Futurama reference 😀). Would be happy to have Maximilian back again.”

About: I've been caring for pets since I was 8 years old and have always had a deep love for animals. My senior dog has been with me for 13 years, and I also have a cat who has been part of my family for the past year and a half. They get along wonderfully, and my cat is actually more comfortable around dogs than other cats. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, and I always provide patient, loving, and dependable care. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I'll treat your pets like they're my own. I currently work part-time Monday through Friday from 5PM to 11PM, but I have flexibility during the day to provide walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and quality care. Weekends are when I have the most availability and can dedicate even more time and attention to your pets. I also offer boarding in my home, overnight stays in your home, and I'm happy to work with your pet's routine whenever possible. I have reliable transportation, so getting to and from your home is never a problem. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. My home is calm and pet-friendly, and my dog and cat are both friendly and well-socialized. I carefully follow each owner's instructions, maintain your pet's normal routine, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident while you're away. Whether your pet stays with me or I care for them in your home, they'll be treated with kindness, patience, and respect.
“Morgan has become the go to sitter for my dogs! She takes excellent care of them and sends tons of photos throughout each visit. The girls are always excited to see her!”

“It’s always such a pleasure booking Maria to come and house sit for my cat. She is so loving and thoughtful. She is very responsive and trustworthy. I recommend her as a dependable sitter for your kitties while you’re away!”

“Brittany was great with our two cats. They seemed well adjusted to us being away. Great communications and photos. Appreciated her help in resolving an issue with one of our automatic feeders.”

“Sarah is a great sitter! I have booked her a few times and she has been great with Georgia each time! Today, she picked up pieces of a box and grass pee pad that Georgia destroyed before she got there. It was greatly appreciated :)”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid, I love animals like they’re my own babies lol I also worked in a doggie day care center for 5 years I work from home so your babies will have my full attention and availability! We will be able to go outside and enjoy as many walks as they like! Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Atlanta
Julianne was amazing with our puppy! While we were nervous for the inevitable day to come where we would have to leave our new puppy at home for a quick trip Julianne made it perfect for us by being so patient with him so caring so thoughtful and so intentional with him. She shared so many updates came over several times a day and made sure that he felt comfortable at home without us. She followed all of our instructions to the T and made us feel so comfortable, knowing that our puppy was in great hands. Would highly recommend Julianne if you are considering!

Mike was great for our pup Hazel. He was prompt, detail oriented and went above and beyond in caring for our dog. He even volunteered to pick up some food for her when she ran out after one of his drop-ins! Would highly recommend Mike and look forward to booking him in the future.

Lauren is terrific. In our first meeting she asked all the right questions about the dogs and their behaviors, and made me feel very comfortable about hiring her. She put extra effort into getting my older dog to like her, which I appreciated. I added a third dog and she's done a great job handling them all, and working with the new pup on basic commands. She's also a very good communicator so I know exactly what's going on every time she's with them. She's a real find!

Robert is the best dog sitter! Salsa is absolutely smitten with him and cannot wait for her daily visits. He provides so many photos after each visit as well as updates about Salsa’s day. He is always on time and is so easy to coordinate last minute drop in’s. Salsa and I are so happy we found such a kind and trustworthy dog sitter! I would recommend Robert to anyone and everyone!

Cabby did a fantastic job with our dog, Ellie. She watched her over 4th of July weekend which is a tough weekend for Ellie due to fireworks. Cabby was incredibly patient with Ellie and sent frequent updates so we knew she was doing OK. Highly recommend Cabby for your dog watching needs!

Riley has been so great. My dog is usually a little nervous around new people. Because of that, I booked a couple of drop-in visits while I was home before a trip so that my dog could get more familiar with Riley before a house sitting stay. Turns out, that might not have been needed since my dog immediately seemed at ease around her! Still glad we did them though because it's so much easier to relax and enjoy a vacation when you're not constantly worried about your pup back home 😄

Misty is hands down the absolutely best dog walker and pet sitter I have ever met. She is not only attentive to my boy’s needs but she goes the extra mile every time to make sure he feels comfortable, loved and very very safe. As someone who has a large breed anxious dog, she does a wonderful job working with him and making sure he feels comfortable with every walk and interaction. Shelby adores Misty and as a dog who takes a while to warm up to people, Misty’s warm and determined personality and care has won his over within a couple of hours. She always makes sure to send a bunch of photos to let me know that Shelby is okay when I am out of town. I have yet to meet another more dependable and caring pet sitter. I couldn’t recommend Misty enough and if I had the option to give her 10 stars on Rover I 2000% would!!

Paola helped us with our two dogs Remi and Rahmi and our cat Ruby last week and she was attentive, caring and wonderful! We look forward to rebooking with her for future needs and are very grateful to have found such a kind caregiver for our beloved babies. Thank you Paola for your thoughtful and compassionate communication.

We had an amazing experience Kayla during the week she spent with our dogs, Cookie and Bella. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our pups were in such caring and capable hands. She kept us updated with photos and messages, gave Cookie and Bella plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and treated them like family. When we returned home, both dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Kayla to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving dog sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Cookie and Bella!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
