About: Hello! My name is jewel and I attend Spelman College where I am a biology major on the pre-vet med track. I love animals and work at a boarding and daycare facility. I have lots of experience taking care of pets including walking, feeding, analyzing behaviors, and spending quality time. I aspire to be a veterinarian and I love and adore all animals. I am a full-time student with lots of flexibility and availability. I just returned to Atlanta but over the summer I worked full-time at a doggy day care and boarding facility in Texas. I prioritize making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I live in an apartment, so I can only accommodate small dogs in my home, but I have plenty of experience caring for dogs there. I’m also an volunteer with the Atlanta Humane Society through their Dog Day Adventure program, where I take dogs out of the shelter for hikes, dog parks, or relaxing at my apartment with lots of attention and belly rubs. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs and always prioritize their safety and well-being.

“We cannot thank Michelle enough for all the love and care she gave to our dogs while we were away for a few days. This was our first time using a private home pet sitter for our dogs. From the moment we dropped them off to the time we picked them up, we knew they were in good hands. Michelle sent us photos and updates of how they were doing during the stay, and she was very easy to communicate with when needed. One of our dogs is a 7 month old puppy and quite difficult; however, Michelle was very patient with her and constantly provided us with details of how she was doing. Not only was Michelle very accommodating of our puppy's needs, she was very kind to both of our dogs odd habits and behaviors. Thanks Michelle for being so kind and thoughtful towards our furry babies. We will definitely bring them back to Michelle if we need to go out of town.”

About: There is an innocent joy and calmness that fur friends provide and I greatly appreciate any time that I am privileged with their presence! I have pet sat for several friends over the years and love the company that pets provide. While I will adopt down the line, I greatly enjoy helping out others and making new fur friends. The experience with my various fur friends really has taught me a lot about pets and pet care. My weekday work schedule allows me the flexibility to WFH. Take morning walks and breaks every few hours. Outdoor activities typically fill my evenings and weekends. There are scheduled times where I do need to step out or travel for work; these times will also be included when necessary. Always hugs and kisses first!! I like to allow fur friends to get to know me. I show them around and get them set up. I like to keep in touch with the owner to ask questions and send pictures.

“Jeremiah was fantastic - hands down one of the best dog sitters we’ve had! Our large, high energy German shepherd pup had so much fun with Jeremiah and his two pups (Skyler and Kobe) and was so sad to leave them! Jeremiah took incredible care of Luffy - he gave him so much affection and attention, and Luffy got so much play time and exercise! We also got constant updates (including the cutest photos and videos), which we appreciated so much, and never worried about how Luffy was doing. Jeremiah also gave him tasty and healthy frozen treats (great idea), and was so kind and washed his blanket too. Will absolutely be using Jeremiah again - we’re so grateful to him, Skyler, and Kobe!”
