“Chyanne was amazing with Piper! She sent the sweetest updates and photos, and Piper looked like she was having the best time. She absolutely loved playing with Chyanne’s dogs and settled in right away. I felt totally at ease knowing she was in such good hands. I’ll definitely book with Chyanne again — highly recommend! ❤️❤️”

“They are the best! My pup had the best time staying with them! They are laid back and very communicative with messages and pictures. I felt absolutely at ease leaving my girl with them. Not to mention, my pup had the best time playing with their dog and running around. It was a great experience! We came home and my girl was so moody that I took her away from all the fun! She huffed and puffed and ignored me! Haha”

“Amika was timely and has excellent communication skills. She came to our home to meet Marvel, our four year old Frenchie. She was sure to learn about his favorite toys, snacks and schedule. After pickup, she sent timely updates. I still treasure her many pictures and videos. Amika is an absolute Angel! She was patient, kind, attentive and diligent in her pursuit of a friendship with Marvel, our 4-year old Frenchie. Marvel is a rescue who lived a very difficult life ahead of finding our family. Because of this, he is very distrusting of new people. Her generosity was overwhelming. As she realized his deference towards her would require more wooing. She committed to winning him over, even purchasing him a huge pack of his favorite toys– tennis balls. She even refused reimbursement. 10/10 I will book with Amika again and again!”

“Ashley was incredibly accommodating and responsive with a lot of pictures and updates. It was our dogs first time staying at someone else's house with rover and was quite nervous when he got there. Ashley took time to work with him to make him feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Ashley!”

“Akeeme was very responsive and took great care of our baby while we were away. We had to make a last minute booking and he accommodated us and kept us updated on Axel throughout the weekend!”

“Hayley did an amazing job of taking care of our dog while we were on vacation. Our dog is around 85 pounds and is almost 9 years old. They went on lots of walks and our dog got lots of TLC. Hayley sent frequent updates and pictures. We could tell our dog bonded with Hayley and her dog. She was happy and healthy when we picked her up. We highly recommend Hayley and will definitely book with her again!”

“Danielle was such a great sitter. She kept me informed throughout the pup’s stay. When I picked up my dog he was so calm which means I know that he enjoyed his time with her. We will definitely be rebooking.”

“Rachel was so wonderful with my boys. She was kind enough to accept a last minute booking and was so flexible. They seemed to settle down and get comfortable very soon. They got a lot of outdoor time, and I got a bunch of photo updates. I would definitely recommend Rachel to anyone needing a stay for their pups.”

“Leigh and her husband are absolutely amazing. I knew Keets was in great hands and she looked right at home in all of her pictures on walks and snuggling. 10 out of 10 would recommend!”

“Mark was great! I was so worried about leaving my rambunctious husky puppy while I was out of town. We usually board with her veterinarian but that wasn’t an option this time. The updates Mark sent made us feel so comfortable while away from her. Will definitely be repeat customers!”

“Patrick and his pup took amazing care of my little dog. She misses them! Patrick is a very organized and thoughtful sitter who takes great update photos. I knew she was receiving great care the whole time. Will definitely book him again!”

“What a blessing! Ms. Kerykay did such a wonderful job with our first-time-boarding dog, Mochi! We didn’t know how well she would settle in, but she made our fur baby feel right at home! We’re sure Mochi enjoyed her stay as well, and will definitely be visiting again!! 💕💕”

“Misty is awesome! She took such wonderful care of our girl and sent lots of adorable photos and updates. I never had to wonder how things were going. Murphy always looked happy and Misty’s pup Kiyah was the perfect playmate for her. Misty walked Murph everyday and made sure she had lots of outside time (her favorite). She even got out a doggy pool for splashing around. Our flight home was delayed multiple times and Misty was incredible accommodating. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“was absolutely wonderful with Rocci! So patient, caring, and attentive. You can really tell sheloves animals. Rocci can be a bit annoying at first, but Chasity took the time to make him feel comfortable and relaxed. I got regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing my pup was happy and well cared for. I came home to a calm, happy dog and could tell Rocci had been in great hands. I’d definitely recommend Chasity to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and reliable sitter. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Laura was amazing! She took good care of my dogs and always provided updates and pics. This was the first time I’ve ever used a sitter for them and she was a great choice! Will definitely continue to use her.”

“Kelsi watched my cat for over a week and I knew my cat was well taken care of. Kelsi is an animal lover and my cat was very comfortable staying with her. I would definitely book with her again.”

Hayley was wonderful!! She is warm and kind and sent pictures and daily updates. She took our dog on several walks each day. Our dog looked very relaxed and comfortable from the pictures she sent so that was a huge relief and encouragement. I will definitely use Hayley again. Definitely 5 stars!!

I can’t say enough great things about our experience with Anna! Max was so well cared for and felt completely at home during his stay. One of the biggest surprises was that he was comfortable enough to snuggle with her cat, which is something he normally never does. That alone showed me how relaxed, safe, and happy he felt in her home. She was incredibly communicative throughout his stay and sent plenty of photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind and let us know exactly how Max was doing. She truly treated him like family. We will absolutely be using her for all of our future travel needs whenever Max isn’t coming along. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jennifer and Nicholas were absolutely amazing with Dolly! From the moment I dropped her off, they made me feel completely at ease. They were fantastic communicators and sent me so many pictures and updates throughout her stay, which meant so much to me. It was clear they genuinely cared about making sure Dolly had the best time. They had a little pool set up for her to splash around in, a huge backyard where she could run and play, and they were incredibly thoughtful about slowly introducing her to the other dogs they were watching so she felt comfortable and safe. When I picked her up, they even surprised us with a little treat bag to take home, which was such a sweet touch! Dolly came home happy, tired, and clearly well loved. I couldn't recommend Jennifer and Nicholas more. If you're looking for sitters who truly treat your dog like family, they're the ones to book. We'll definitely be back!

Tyler was fantastic! Fendi is a chihuahua-mix with the personality to match, but I was shocked as several times during the week Tyler sent phots of personal interactions that Fendi doesn't often allow. Fendi was in aa good mood when she got home, so she must've been well-fed and taken care of. I would happily use Tyler again if needed.

I cannot recommend Barron enough. My dog has chronic health/anxiety issues and Barron watched her for over a week, during which she needed to have a vet visit due to colitis. Barron handled the vet visit perfectly, kept in great contact with me, had great judgement to handle the situation, and was organized to Freya’s needs for the entire visit (along with her many many medications). He’s very in tune with how she was feeling and I’m so appreciative of how he went above and beyond to care for her! I’d leave 10 stars if I could!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
