“He took great care of my dog and provided daily updates. I was comfortable he was in good hands. His husky mix is adorable and played well with my dog. I booked a 2nd stay.”

“Jada was great. My pup Bandit was happy and healthy when I picked him up. Jada sent regular updates while I was away to six days. I will definitely be asking her to sit again”

“Jax is always wonderful! She takes such great care of our furry babies, keeping us updated and making sure everything goes smoothly. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our pets are in reliable hands. Highly recommend!”

“As always Cat is amazing 👏🏽. I got delayed a day on my flight and she stepped right in and kept them the extra day. My dogs absolutely love her. I told them they were going to Ms. Cat's and they were so excited they tried to bolt out the door to the car. Thanks Cat!!”

“Ayelet and her pup Luke are the sweetest. My dog is fearful of strangers and Ayelet handles that incredibly well. She sends lots of updates and I’m not worried about leaving my dog with her! We only have great things to say about her services and she is very experienced. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Our Keeley loved spending time at Isabella’s and with her sweet dog Ozzie. Isabella has a great front yard for playing and sun bathing. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the weekend which were much appreciated! Looking forward to having Keeley stay with Isabella again in the future!”

“Kamron kept our dog for over a week while we were on a cruise. He was very communicative and sent plenty of pictures which we loved. Tuxedo seemed to have had a really good time with the cats as well. We will be back. 😊😊”

“My kiddos (dog and two kitties) had a wonderful 3 week stay with Owen recently. I really appreciated the regular photos and updates about how they were doing. Owen clearly is an attentive and caring pet sitter. I’ve already booked our next visit.”

“Lauren is the best. Maize loves going to her house and gets excited when we arrive. She has a big backyard for maize to play in and I live in midtown so he is not used to that. She is super flexible with pick up and drop off. She might be more expensive than most but as the saying goes you get what you pay for.”

“Chris took excellent care of my dog, Circe. He was very attentive and patient, and I could tell that she was happy and comfortable during her stay. He regularly took the dogs out to a large park, which Circe really enjoyed and benefited from a lot. Circe got along very well with Chris’s two dogs, and it was clear that they interacted in a calm and positive way. Chris also sent frequent photo updates, which made me feel very reassured while I was away. It was obvious that he truly cares about the dogs he looks after. I felt completely comfortable leaving Circe with him and would absolutely book with Chris again. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner with two huskies of my own, and previously I had a Jack-Russel terrier I took on lots of walks, so I understand high-energy breeds, strong personalities, and the importance of structure, routine, and exercise. I have a 6 foot fence, that my huskies cannot jump, so if you have a dog that likes to jump, my fence can probably keep them contained in my backyard for their safety. I’m comfortable handling energetic dogs, leash manners, and dogs that need consistent exercise to stay happy and calm. Walks are never rushed—I tailor them to each dog’s energy level, weather conditions, and comfort. I also pay close attention to hydration, behavior cues, and overall well-being. Your dog will receive individual attention, affection, and calm supervision in a home environment. I take pet safety seriously and follow owner instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication schedules (if applicable), and house rules. I am also a mom to two humans, 7 years old and an older baby. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible for dog walking or drop-ins, but I may have my baby in stroller with me for walks, please let me know if that’s not ok. I recently quit my job at the CDC, I was a biologist, to spend time with my girls during their formative years. I take honesty and dependability very seriously so you need not worry about your pets or home in my care. Thanks for reading my profile. I am a stay-at-home mom, taking care of my huskies and kids. As long as you don’t mind me bringing my baby to walk alongside your dog in my stroller, I can walk your dog anytime of day during the week or weekends. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced-in backyard, so I am ideal boarding spot for high energy dogs. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced in backyard and 2 sweet husky ladies to keep your dog company in doors. I can crate your dog in my house if needed. I believe clear communication is key, so I provide updates, photos, and honest feedback during each booking. My goal is for you to feel confident and for your dog to feel secure, exercised, and cared for while you’re away.
“Kelsey was very friendly and professional. Provided tons of great updates and photos of our Dog Rapunzel while we were away. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a safe and fun place to leave their pet.”

“My dog Murphy was very well taken care of by Zion and her roommate, Derek. I appreciated the updates and pictures and could see just how comfy he was because he was snuggled up with Zion and napped while she worked. We have already booked Zion for our next trip and hope she can take care of Murphy for all of our future trips!”

“I’m very thankful for the hospitality, love, and care that my furry little ones had in this house. I will surely be needing these services again and will 100% be recommending ❤️”

“Sydnie was awesome for our dog, Louise! Very responsive, personable, and kind. I think Louise was actually a little depressed when she got home because of all the love and attention she'd been getting from Sydnie. A lovely experience!”

“Charles is so kind and compassionate... he truly loves the dogs like they are all his own. This is the longest we've left our dog and we didn't worry for a moment! We knew that she was in the best hands... safe and happy!! We are so appreciative of him taking such good care of our dog! We will definitely be using him again! (We also loved the pictures that he sent!!!) ”

Joselyn was amazing! You can really tell she enjoys being around dogs and caring for them. Don’t be scared off by the low rating previously. I was in a pinch and needed a sitter and I’m glad I gave her a chance. She told me that was because of a miscommunication from the customer end about timings which I don’t think was her fault and she has been penalized for ever since because of it being an early review. She was one of the most communicative sitters I’ve had. Constantly keeping me in the loop and updating me. . I’m glad I believed her because my dog came back smiling, happy, and she kept us updated with lots of pictures along the way. I will definitely be leaving my pup with her again!

Our dog Lyra had another amazing stay with Elisabeth! Our dog stayed for about 1.5 weeks and had a wonderful time cuddling, playing, and going for walks. Elisabeth is very capable and attentive to detail - I trust her entirely with the care of our girl, who can be a bit anxious. Elisabeth administered meds, ran out to the store when they ran out of food, and sent us lots of updates and photos. Elisabeth and her husband are basically our dog's other parents now. :D We will be working with her again next time we need a sitter!

This was my first time using Jaquana and she was very sweet and caring for my pup during his stay. She meet me the week of for a meet and greet and I was very appreciate of that. Her communication was thorough and she also sent updated pictures during the stay. Remi and enjoyed his stay and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Colleen was wonderful!! We had a different sitter cancel last minute but it worked out because Colleen was perfect to care for our pup. From our first interaction, we could tell how much she cares for her own pup and the dogs in her care. We were super comfortable leaving our pup with her, knowing he would be in great hands! She provided updates and he was having a great time. He came home exhausted and is fast asleep now! She created the perfect doggie vacation for him while we were away. Would definitely have Raptor stay with her again :)

Josh was an incredible long stay sitter for our dog Remy. He sent multiple videos and photos everyday and we were so excited to see what Remy was up to each day. He felt incredibly well cared for and was clearly happy throughout his stay. We will definitely rebook with Josh the next time we go out of town!

The meet and greet gave us peace of mind that our dogs would be happy while we were gone. Lauren took wonderful care of them! They aren’t usually happy with strangers but they warmed up to her immediately! She was accommodating of our schedule and the daily photos/videos/updates made it easier being away from them.

Erica was absolutely wonderful with my two girls. From all the pictures and videos she sent, it truly looked like they were on their own little vacation! They were happy, relaxed, and clearly very loved while in her care. The updates gave me so much comfort and reassurance while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Erica again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter. She took amazing care of my girls! 🐾💕

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
