“Ayelet was fantastic! She took such good care of Beans for a long weekend and he was wiped out from playing after we picked him up. She was super communicative and asked a lot of great questions during the meet and greet to make sure it would be a good fit. We will definitely contact her for future dog sitting!”

“Barron is fantastic! He was incredibly thorough during the intake process and instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. My dog loved his time at Barron’s, I got constant updates, and he didn’t even seem ready to leave when we picked him up! I highly recommend Barron.”

“Owen had a great indoor and outdoor space for my doggos. He also kept in touch and regularly sent me picture/video updates. I could relax on vacation knowing my babies were in good hands.”

“Shea and her husband Brandon and the rest of their family are the best. Our favorite and most reliable people to (re)book with and trust with the care of our crazy Murph. He always comes back happy and tired!”

“Lauren is the best. Maize loves going to her house and gets excited when we arrive. She has a big backyard for maize to play in and I live in midtown so he is not used to that. She is super flexible with pick up and drop off. She might be more expensive than most but as the saying goes you get what you pay for.”

“Kamron kept our dog for over a week while we were on a cruise. He was very communicative and sent plenty of pictures which we loved. Tuxedo seemed to have had a really good time with the cats as well. We will be back. 😊😊”

“Jada is the absolute best! It's such a relief to find someone I can trust completely with Miracle. She’s attentive, communicative, and sends the best photo updates. I won't take Miracle anywhere else! Highly recommended! 💕”

“Kate provided my fur baby, Chloe, with so much patience, love and attention. This was her first visit and Kate kept me posted with pictures and videos daily. Chloe also really enjoyed singing with Kate's husband, Gus. I will be reaching out regularly to Kate going forward! Ty!”

About: Hi! I'm Sara, and I provide boarding exclusively for small dogs in a safe, calm, and loving home environment. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you're away. Whether your pup enjoys playing, snuggling on the couch, or simply relaxing in a cozy spot, I'll do my best to maintain their routine and make them feel right at home. My home includes two friendly small dogs (Penny -9 yrs old and Prince-7 yrs old), my husband, and a baby, so I only accept dogs that are comfortable in a family environment and have a gentle temperament. Many dogs thrive in this cozy, home-like setting and enjoy being part of the daily routine. Because I only accept small dogs, your pet can enjoy a low stress environment with individualized attention and care. One of the biggest benefits of my home is that your dog won't be overwhelmed by larger dogs or crowded boarding facilities. For the comfort of all parties involved, I do not host more than 2 pets at a time, unless they are from the same family. In addition, I work from home, so your pup will have company 24/7. I can accommodate puppies (over 1 year old) and senior dogs. I can administer most oral medications if needed. You'll also receive regular photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay so you can have peace of mind knowing they're happy and well cared for. For the safety and comfort of all pets in my home, I only accept: 🐾 Small dogs under 15 lbs (can discuss if they are a couple pounds over) 🐾 Dogs that are friendly with other small dogs 🐾 Dogs that are up-to-date on vaccinations 🐾 Spayed/neutered dogs I look forward to meeting you and your pup and becoming their home away from home! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, companionship, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My own dogs are an important part of our family's routine, so caring for pets is already built into my schedule. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are incredibly important to me. As a dog owner myself, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet in someone else's care, so I do my best to provide a loving, home-like environment where they can feel relaxed and secure. I only board small dogs and keep the number of guest dogs limited so that each pup gets plenty of attention and care. Before each stay, I like to learn about your dog's personality, routine, favorite activities, and any special needs so I can make their experience as comfortable as possible. All interactions are supervised, and I prioritize creating a calm, positive space where dogs can settle in and feel at home.
“After our first sitter cancel at the last minute Lily accepted and was absolutely amazing. She was warm and friendly and sent the cutest pictures of Bella enjoying herself throughout her stay. We will definitely be using Lily again - Thank you so much for helping us, greatly appreciated.”

“Charles takes great care of our older, anxious Jack Russell and was amazing with our 15 yr old medically needy dog. We never worry about them when they are with Charles and they always come home calm and happy.”
“Sam walked right up to her door when we arrived and seemed comfortable as soon as we walked in. Leeandra sent photo updates and he seemed to be enjoying himself! She was accommodating when I had a flight delay and had to be later than expected to pick him up. Thank you, Leeandra!”

“Alannah was amazing with my pup! She kept me updated throughout the whole weekend and went out of her to make sure Sadie was comfortable. I will definitely book her again🥰”

“Dina was a great sitter! She took amazing care of my dog, she communicated so well, and she was flexible when my travel plan was altered. I would definitely use her again.”

“Chris was a great sitter for my Ruby girl. She is a GSP with a ton of energy to expend. He offered lots of daily exercise for her. She quickly made herself right at home. Lots of fun photos and videos, showing she was having the best time and getting all her energy out. She came home happy and healthy”

“I apologize for the late review. Honestly, I thought I had did this. Gina watched Sparkles 10 days while I was on my cruise. Sparkles, her dog Bentley, her daughter, and the others dogs got along great. Looking at the pictures and video she sent me, I could see that there was nothing but LOVE. I recommend Gina O, because I will be using her again. Thank You Gina O.”

“Tramesse was amazing at boarding Nimbus and keeping him safe and comfortable. She was really responsive to all our questions and concerns, sent daily updates and kept him really clean and happy. We are so glad Nimbus got to make new friends and we will definitely be booking again when needed 🙂”

“My dog had a great time at Sitong’s place for daycare! He is a sitter I can trust, I know he’ll always do a good job! Appreciated the photos and updates we got throughout the day!”

Fantastic! I was hoping to have her meet my girl before spending the weekend with Lyndley just because I know Rina can be very fearful, but I don't even think Rina needed it! I got pictures of walks and relaxing throughout the weekend while I was gone. I'll be using her again when I'm out of town!

Clarissa was HEAVEN Sent! She came through after another Sitter, didn’t show up. She was very responsive and sent many photos while I was gone. Made me feel extremely comfortable leaving my cat Benz w/her. I would definitely recommend her & will book w/her again. Thank you so much again Clarissa :)

We have a new favorite place for Lewis to stay when we can’t take him with us. Being gone for over two weeks, it could have been easy to worry about him. We felt confident that he was well taken care of the entire time! Having him with a family was a perfect option for us.

Erica was wonderful. Our cats were cuddled with and played with. She got litter for us because our persnickety cat is particular about scent. And she was very patient when one of our cats, who was ikely anxious about being elsewhere threw up a lot. Erica was also very communicative, so we knew the animals were very well cared for.

Demi was very patient with our 10 year old dog who has had only one dog sitter and us since we got him from a shelter 5 years ago. He was whining, yipping at night, and anxious, yet she was patient and kind to him, taking him for several walks each day and making sure he had plenty of space and love. Would love to use her again!
Joselyn was amazing! You can really tell she enjoys being around dogs and caring for them. Don’t be scared off by the low rating previously. I was in a pinch and needed a sitter and I’m glad I gave her a chance. She told me that was because of a miscommunication from the customer end about timings which I don’t think was her fault and she has been penalized for ever since because of it being an early review. She was one of the most communicative sitters I’ve had. Constantly keeping me in the loop and updating me. . I’m glad I believed her because my dog came back smiling, happy, and she kept us updated with lots of pictures along the way. I will definitely be leaving my pup with her again!

Our dog Lyra had another amazing stay with Elisabeth! Our dog stayed for about 1.5 weeks and had a wonderful time cuddling, playing, and going for walks. Elisabeth is very capable and attentive to detail - I trust her entirely with the care of our girl, who can be a bit anxious. Elisabeth administered meds, ran out to the store when they ran out of food, and sent us lots of updates and photos. Elisabeth and her husband are basically our dog's other parents now. :D We will be working with her again next time we need a sitter!

Josh was an incredible long stay sitter for our dog Remy. He sent multiple videos and photos everyday and we were so excited to see what Remy was up to each day. He felt incredibly well cared for and was clearly happy throughout his stay. We will definitely rebook with Josh the next time we go out of town!

The meet and greet gave us peace of mind that our dogs would be happy while we were gone. Lauren took wonderful care of them! They aren’t usually happy with strangers but they warmed up to her immediately! She was accommodating of our schedule and the daily photos/videos/updates made it easier being away from them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
