Pet care experience

Your dog is family to us!

I am a lifelong animal lover and have eight years of boarding, sitting and dog walking under my belt. I love all dogs and work well with large breeds, puppies, elderly and special needs pups. My fenced in yard allows ample space to play and run. I also have a rooftop deck for hanging out in the the shade and watching squirrels. Thanks for checking out my profile!

The meet and greet gave us peace of mind that our dogs would be happy while we were gone. Lauren took wonderful care of them! They aren’t usually happy with strangers but they warmed up to her immediately! She was accommodating of our schedule and the daily photos/videos/updates made it easier being away from them.

Lauren and Hayden were so great and loving to my Daisy May. My girl can be a bit high maintenence with meds, etc. Lauren was so sweet! It was clear my pup felt right at home. I would definitely book again in the future.

Lauren was amazing with our 3 dogs and I felt very comfortable leaving them in her care! We are on a homemade food diet with toppings and 1 dog on medication but she handled all these things like a pro. Everyone came home happy and worn out 🙂

Debated leaving this review because Lauren was nice and I do think she had mostly good intentions, but as an owner I’d feel bad not letting other owners choose for themselves. I left my 2 dogs with Lauren for a weekend and everything seemed to be going ok. When I picked them up, Lauren let me know my mini dachshund (9 pounds) did need to stay overnight at the hospital the night before. She had said that she ate a delta 8 gummy but the hospital discharged her with a clean bill of health. She did not let me know when this was occurring but only when I picked her up, which she said was because she did not want to worry me after knowing my dog would be ok. She did provide me the discharge instructions from the hospital and said I could call them with questions. She was very distraught and obviously extremely sorry. When I did call the hospital to get the rundown, they informed me Lauren had told them it was actually a THC joint and not a delta 8 gummy. While that is good news for my dog given the lower risks, I am upset that I wasn’t told the truth from the beginning. When I confirmed with Lauren, she did confess it was a joint. My dog is 100% fine and there will be no long term effects. As I said, I could tell Lauren was extremely upset and sorry, and she said nothing like this had ever happened before. However, as an owner it is very upsetting to not have been informed when this was occurring and to be lied to about the nature of the incident. I think Lauren seems to be a good sitter and I would bet she will be much more careful in the future, but it concerns me what occurred when something did go wrong.

Schedule

I take care of your pups along with my son, Hayden, who is 26 and has multiple years of experience working at doggy daycare. Between the two of us, someone is always home. We are pretty flexible on drop off and pickups. I don’t schedule different clients on the same day so if you’re running a little late or need to drop off a little early it’s never a problem.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in yard and no other pets in the home. I’ve been doing this for many years now, so everything in my home is dog proofed at this point!

A typical day

A typical day is chillin on the back patio in the sun. Bird and squirrel watching are also pretty common around here! My house is on a lovely residential street where it’s quiet and peaceful.

I have experience with many dog behaviors at this point. I don’t have any particular preferences as far as dog breeds, we love them all around here!
