About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. I currently have only my little Percy - he's strictly an indoor cat with his routine - early am feedings and lots of sleep during the day. I love to walk and enjoy having a pal to share the time outside. I do miss my dog, our daily walks are where I hold very fond memories. She loved to bring sticks home and place them in the yard. I have always enjoyed my experience with pet sitters that I've hired. Each person understood how important it is to follow instructions and established routines. I would ensure I have complete understanding of each request and treat your pet as if they were mine.

“Anais was amazing with my puppy, Sparkle. I could tell right away that Sparkle was well cared for and in good hands. She kept me at ease and treated her with so much love and attention. I would definitely use her again for future boarding.”

“First time leaving Miss Anya for multiple days with Logan and his family, lots of pics, opportunities to play with their dog and others, which is always great! Logan's super easy to work with, and flexible which helps as my trip dates are not always set in stone on the return side. Thank you for taking such good care of her!”

“It is our second time leaving Leia with Javier and Christina and we will continue to use their services. They are caring and take good care of her. She enjoys their fenced backyard and the walks.”

“My dog loves staying with Erin. I love her schedule with the dogs, giving him lots of active time. She has great behavioral instincts so i've never had to worry about bad interactions with other dogs. Highly recommended.”

“AMAZING!! Zosimo took Jock last minute for me, because of an out-of-town funeral. He arranged a meet-and-greet so that Jock could meet him and we could see where he would be. Jock's time with Zosimo and his partner looked so amazing that I was almost jealous. They went for walks in parks, played with his ball in the yard, he got to chase chipmunks and squirrels and looked so happy when I picked him up. If you had to describe what a perfect Rover experience might look like, this was it!”

“Peggy was so accepting, sensitive, and caring toward Indy (and his separation anxiety). Indy seemed to really feel at home with her. We’re so happy to have connected with Peggy and we (and Indy) look forward to many more stays! 🥰”

“Jennifer was so friendly and flexible! She took great care of my pup and sent so many updates and pictures. My dog came home refreshed from her vacation rather than drained — Jennifer treated my dog like her own and it showed ❤️❤️”

“Aska was great! She sent several pictures and text updates but most importantly my dog Karma came back happy and smiling which are always signs of a good stay. Would absolutely recommend”

“Isabella is just the best. Pear loves spending time with her and Ollie. While in Isabella’s care, I always receive frequent updates and pictures. It’s such a relief knowing when I’m out of town that Pear is somewhere that she’s excited to be!”

“Luis and Sarah are tremendous! We are so lucky to have found them to care for our dog when we are out of town. They do a great job of communicating and just love on our sweet pup. We can’t thank them enough”

“I can’t thank Hope enough for taking such wonderful care of Chichu for 4 days! It was my very first time ever leaving him, and she made the experience so easy and comforting for both of us. Chichu had an amazing time with Hope and the other pups—he was so happy and relaxed when I picked him up. Hope truly went above and beyond to make sure Chichu felt comfortable, cared for, and loved. She also gave me peace of mind throughout, which meant the world to me. I’m so grateful to have found her and will definitely trust her with Chichu again in the future!”

“Lauren was absolutely wonderful and our 2 pups loved her! We felt so reassured knowing that they were in her care. Thank you Lauren! We hope to book you again in the future!”

“Josh has been absolutely fantastic with Bondi. He’s watched him for several days of daycare, an overnight stay, and most recently for six nights while I was traveling internationally. Every time, I’ve had complete peace of mind knowing Bondi was in great hands. Bondi absolutely loves spending time with Josh and his dog besties Phil and Buzz. Throughout every stay, Josh sends plenty of pictures and videos, so I always know Bondi is happy, having fun, and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Bondi with Josh again (and will!) and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Scottdale
Josh was so wonderful! He took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable, let our dog meet all the dogs that would be present when she was there. He has a great fenced in yard they can play in, and he sent videos and pictures throughout her stay letting me know she was having fun. Would definitely rebook!!

We are so thankful for finding Kathleen and now will only be using her for our boarding needs! She was so sweet and incredibly easy to book with, we had a meet and greet beforehand to ensure our dog would be comfortable and safe at her home. She is clearly very experienced with caring for dogs and really loves what she does! Drop off and pick up was a breeze and we received consistent updates with adorable photos of our baby so we knew he was having a great time, which then allowed us to truly be able to relax and enjoy our vacation!

Fantastic! I was hoping to have her meet my girl before spending the weekend with Lyndley just because I know Rina can be very fearful, but I don't even think Rina needed it! I got pictures of walks and relaxing throughout the weekend while I was gone. I'll be using her again when I'm out of town!

We have a new favorite place for Lewis to stay when we can’t take him with us. Being gone for over two weeks, it could have been easy to worry about him. We felt confident that he was well taken care of the entire time! Having him with a family was a perfect option for us.

Our dog Lyra had another amazing stay with Elisabeth! Our dog stayed for about 1.5 weeks and had a wonderful time cuddling, playing, and going for walks. Elisabeth is very capable and attentive to detail - I trust her entirely with the care of our girl, who can be a bit anxious. Elisabeth administered meds, ran out to the store when they ran out of food, and sent us lots of updates and photos. Elisabeth and her husband are basically our dog's other parents now. :D We will be working with her again next time we need a sitter!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
