“Dana was amazing and took great care of Otto!! She provided me with updates, photos, and was very detailed in our communications. I would love to book with her again in the future!!”
“Michelle is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! she goes above and beyond:) Fernie can’t wait for us to plan another trip so she can go back and hang out with Michelle! Fernie was spoiled in the best way!”

“We had a very stress-free, excellent experience with Hope. My very big, very silly poodle spent a week with her and I knew he was in good hands. We received a nightly update with multiple pictures and a summary of their day. We were on the other side of the country and it was so nice to not worry about him at all. Thank you so much. We will definitely use Hope for future nights away.”

“Kevin was incredibly accommodating. Before Maxwell's overnight he agreed to meet up and have a play date before the actual care time. He was great in sending pictures and asking clarifying questions about Max's tendencies. High ranking for Kevin and hope to have a need to work with him again. We all thank you! 💕 Woofs & Snuggles, Maxwell”

“Javier, Christina and his family were an amazing find for our dog Leia. They have a big fenced backyard and they treated Leia like part of their family. Leia spent 6 nights with them and she was able to socialize with other dogs which was wonderful. It was our first time using Rover and we are grateful we found them. We will definitely rebook in the future. Leia has a shy personality and when we picked her up she was so comfortable and looked truly happy with them that we know she was spoiled. They kept us informed at all times, sending photos and videos. We appreciate everything they did for our Leia. Thank you Javier and family!”

“Kim is amazing!! My dog was scared knowing I was about to leave her. She greeted my dog with so much love. And assured her everything was going to be okay. Kim kept me up to date with pictures and frequent text. My dog had a blast with the rest of her dogs. She didn’t want to leave when I came to pick her up. I definitely recommend Kim, she’s the best!!”

“Bentley loves being outside, so the deck and large property is just what he needs. I feel 100% comfortable and fully confident that he is in good hands here. Charles has cared for Bentley many times over the past 8 years before he started using Rover, so I already knew he was fantastic! The house is always very clean, organized and safe for pets. Charles is so very easy to work with, responds really quickly, and makes sure Bentley is safe and happy. He truly seems to love caring for dogs, and he is just a genuinely good person overall. Bentley is a senior dog now, but he doesn't have any unique needs. However, it really makes me happy to know that Charles has so much experience in dealing with aging pets. I know that one day Bentley may be on medications, develop cataracts or start losing his hearing. It is great to know that I will have a very special place for him that will truly cater to whatever needs arise. Charles has so much patience for blind dogs, especially. I know he goes the extra mile for all dogs, but especially the blind ones. What he has done to help his blind dog since he rescued her several years ago is hands-down amazing. I can tell she has blossomed in his care, and I know he does the same for all the dogs he takes into his home. I could write so much more here about Charles and the family, but for the sake of brevity, let me just say they are the BEST you can get! 5+ stars doesn't even begin to say it all. THANK YOU, CHARLES!!”

“Another great stay for my Husky Kayak! Ayelet as always was great and communicative! Very responsive and helpful for pick up and drop off, Kayak had a blast and was treated just like he was home!”

“Awesome experience! I have been fortunate to have friends and family look after my dogs when I travel. That changed recently and I found myself in a gut wrenching predicament to find a loving home to watch my two dogs-a Bassett hound and a senior small mixed breed (both of which have their own challenges). I cannot say enough good things about Shea and Brandon. My dogs were happy and very well cared for. The daily updates gave me such a peace of mind. I could see them playing and being loved on in real time. Moreover, Brandon and Shea were so kind and patient with me my anxiety over dropping my dogs off at “strangers”. My dogs and I highly recommend them!!! Thank you Brandon and Shea!!”

“What a hero! I needed someone to watch my dog last minute and Marissa was happy to help. She took all the stress and worry off my back. Marissa sent plenty of updates with pictures and video so I always knew that Cheese was doing ok. I felt completely at ease with his stay and I would book him with Marissa again in a heartbeat.”

“Ireri took perfect care of my Loubi 🐶♥️ She sent me pics of him over the course of his stay, and I could tell he was happy and in a healthy and safe environment! Highly recommended, and Loubi will love to stay with Ireri again!”

“Corrin took great care of our lab and golden retriever over the holidays. They seemed to eat well and enjoy themselves. She sent plenty of pictures and was very responsive. I would absolutely use her again.”

“Mark was wonderful. He not only took care of my Elvis, but kept me informed every step of the way which allowed me not to be anxious about leaving him. (It was his first time with him). I could enjoy my trip without worry and that is great when you have a fur baby. Thanks so much Mark. I'm sure we will see you again in the future.”

“Ling was amazing! My pets were pampered and the photos she sent to me proved it. I can't recommend Ling enough for petsitting. She was also very kind and professional.”

“Just want to say Jeremey was top tier from the initial contact. Very responsive and definitely made me feel secure with leaving my baby. Pics/vids were received and from her posture I just knew she was having a ball. Over all 10 outta 10 highly recommend. Oh the icing on the cake was I was late getting back in town, but I definitely communicated that prior and he was very understanding and cool! He was still the nice person he was when I dropped her off when I picked her up even tho I was late. Thank you so much! If you’re available next time KoKo will definitely be back!”

About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. I currently have only my little Percy - he's strictly an indoor cat with his routine - early am feedings and lots of sleep during the day. I love to walk and enjoy having a pal to share the time outside. I do miss my dog, our daily walks are where I hold very fond memories. She loved to bring sticks home and place them in the yard. I have always enjoyed my experience with pet sitters that I've hired. Each person understood how important it is to follow instructions and established routines. I would ensure I have complete understanding of each request and treat your pet as if they were mine.
“Daisy was incredible! This is my first time looking with Rover so I was a little bit stressed but from the jump she made me feel comfortable – and was extremely communicative the entire time as well as flexible with my schedule. She provided lots of daily pictures and updates. Love her so much we’ve already booked our next day with her!”

“Luis and Sarah are tremendous! We are so lucky to have found them to care for our dog when we are out of town. They do a great job of communicating and just love on our sweet pup. We can’t thank them enough”

Sarah took great care of Honey while we were away. We were worried at first because this was the longest we had ever been gone and Honey can be anxious, but Sarah made us feel at ease knowing Honey was in good hands and would be taken care of. We highly recommend her for overnight boarding. Thanks Sarah!

Kristen and Jason were absolutely wonderful with Lucy! They were incredibly responsive and communicative throughout her stay, and we really appreciated all the updates and messages along the way. Lucy had a great time and was clearly very well cared for. We would absolutely love to have Kristen and Jason watch her again and would highly recommend them!

You can tell that Katie really cares about the well being of dogs. My dog, Georgia, had a great time staying with Katie, her family, and her two dogs. They shared their backyard and even their toys! Katie took such great care of Georgia and sent me updates every day. Katie made our time away much less stressful because we knew Georgia was well taken care of. Any dog would be lucky to stay with Katie and her family!

Josh was so wonderful! He took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable, let our dog meet all the dogs that would be present when she was there. He has a great fenced in yard they can play in, and he sent videos and pictures throughout her stay letting me know she was having fun. Would definitely rebook!!

Dana was very communicative throughout Miko’s 1 week stay and made me feel like he was in great hands. I really appreciated the frequent updates and photos and how understanding she was when I had some travel delays. Would absolutely recommend booking Dana if you’re looking for peace of mind with your pet!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
