“Pablo & Sybil seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed their holiday and it was sweet that Canvas (Anais’s dog) seemed to want them to stay. When I got home, they were not famished or overly thirsty, meaning they were well cared for. Highly recommend & will book again. Thank you!”

“Ms. Wendy was very gentle with my furry daughter, Na’vi. She was very communicative with me and sent me pictures everyday and updates on how Na’vi was doing. She is very professional and straightforward with the way she provides her service but makes sure we felt comfortable before Na’vi’s stay.”

“Katie was awesome! She sent great photos and updates and it looked like Paisley was getting lots of love and attention! We also appreciated her communication and flexibility. We would definitely book again!”

“Mark has an incredibly gentle spirit and way about him. He was super communicative during the entire process. He sent us daily pictures of our dog and she looked incredibly happy. Will definitely use his services again!”

“Dana is fantastic. My babies Atlas and Zeus made themselves comfortable after settling into their new environment. I felt very comfortable leaving them and Dana forwarded photos to keep me in the loop. All in all I am very pleased and will book future dates.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and getting to hang out with a pup is one of my favorite ways to spend my day. I’m also an avid hiker, so if your dogs ever need some outdoor time, I’ll be sure they get it. I have experience with senior dogs, dogs with disabilities, high energy dogs, and more. 100% of my bookings will receive photos of their pets, and if my camera is working, I’ll leave behind a Polaroid of them as well! I work from home, so I am available to stay with your dog all day. I can take them outside for potty breaks, walks, or any other needs 24/7. I have a fenced in yard, and walking trails right next to my house. I also am available to stay over at your home and be with your dog 24/7.
“Montel was a great host for Keela! He was welcoming and made his stay comfortable. The back yard was humongous! Plenty of space for Keela to explore. I loved hearing he was very relaxed the entire stay and was well behaved indoors and out. I think he liked being on vacation. Needless to say anytime we travel to Atlanta, we’ve found our sitter. We truly appreciated the level of care Keela received.”

“Monica was fabulous as always. She sent me lots of photos and videos during my pup’s stay, and she’s so on top of things. I know my pup is in good hands when he’s with Monica!”

“Chimere did an amazing job watching our pup! She sent lots of messages and pictures and my dog looked so happy. I have an older dog and felt like she was in great hands. Will definitely book again!”
“Thank you so much, Lauren! Our two dogs (both pit mixes and 60+ lbs) loved their stay. Our baby (3 yr old) wouldn't eat at first and Lauren tried multiple bowls and got her to do so :) They got all the snuggles, all the play, all the good times. Loved the pics, video, and updates! Will definitely be having them stay with Lauren again.”

“Kristen and Jason were great! They were very responsive any time I texted and gave me an update with pictures every day. I could tell my dog was having a great time. Thank you for taking such good care of him!”

About: Hi there! I have 3 wonderful pups (all doodles!) and we love having dog friends come to stay! I've been dogsitting at my house for friends & family for years, so I figured I'd open it up to others. My dogs are super friendly and will get along with any dog. It goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway!): please only reach out if your baby is friendly with other dogs :) I work from home so I'll be around all day for your furbaby. I walk the dogs in the morning, and I leave for an hour for my own walk during my lunch break. I'll never leave the dogs home alone for more than 3 hours, but feel free to let me know if it needs to be even shorter. I have a fully fenced (huge) yard and I work from home. It's 24/7 snuggles here! My dogs are my whole world, and your babies will be cared for like my own.
“Oladapo has kept my dog several times and he’s taken very good care of her every time. He’s our go-to when traveling as Coco does not like road trips and gets sick very time we travel. Glad to have someone to care for her during that time.”

“Audrey is great! A certified pup lover and wonderful care taker, who goes above and beyond to make sure our dog is comfortable and keeping up with training. This is the second time she’s watched our teen dog Pepper, and she always does a great job. She sends plenty of photos and keeps us up to date with how Pepper’s feeling. This time Audrey even went out of her way to purchase and feed her food that would feel better on an upset tummy. This time was an extended stay (over a week), which required a hand off to my mother who was watching Pepper for a few days and the handoff was seamless. I know Pepper is in good hands with Audrey and I highly recommend her!”

“Ashley was wonderful! Great communication! Jake had a great time! I truly appreciate her making my first experience with Rover extremely easy. She also provided videos and pics that let me know Jake was in good caring hands. Thanks again Ashley for being so flexible on the pick up time!”

“Antonio is an amazing sitter! Very kind and respectful. I never had to worry about our dog because Antonio did such an amazing job with providing updates. Would highly recommend!”

“Kathleen is my favorite sitter. She’s so energetic, so kind, so attentive! Izzy always has a blast at her home! She has a great backyard for any pup run around. I could go on & on about her, so grateful for her care <3”

“Peggy was kind and communicative about our fur baby. She let me know how he was doing and sent pictures during the day. Her gentleness with him allowed him to settle down and be more comfortable. We'll definitely be back!”

“Julie was amazing! She provided daily updates with photos and videos of my dog while we were away for ten days. She opened up her home to Harper and spoiled him the entire time he was with her. He was clearly happy and well adjusted to being in her home from the videos and photos we received. Julie maintained his normal schedule and administered his meds each day. Can’t thank her enough for all the care she provided to our dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. Her home is clean and well maintained. Knowing that you’re leaving your dog with a good person and in a nice home is always a relief. Julie doesn’t wear shoes in her home (for all of those folks that understand that… you know she has standards and cares about cleanliness). We took our dog on multiple meet and greets with different sitters before making a selection. He connected the best with Julie. I am so happy we have found someone to leave Harper with whenever we’re going out of town. Again, I would highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter that loves pets.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Gresham Park
Jax was absolutely wonderful with my dogs! They’ve never been cared for by anyone other than my parents, so I was pretty nervous leaving them for 10 days. One of my dogs can be a little feisty and challenging, so finding someone I felt comfortable leaving them with was especially important to me. Jax did such a great job making both dogs feel comfortable, safe, and loved, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She also sent lots of updates and photos, and I really appreciated being able to see how they were doing. It meant so much to know they were in good hands and being cared for so well. I’m incredibly grateful to Jax and would absolutely trust her with my dogs again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who is patient, caring, and genuinely wonderful with their pets! ❤️

Ericka is quite wonderful - she watched our frenchie Cosmo while my wife and were out of town for a long weekend. Her place is perfect for dogs and she has an awesome fenced-in back yard. She sent great updates every day with hilarious pictures and videos. She took excellent care of our little gremlin and was very mindful of his outdoor time in the heat, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend Ericka to watch anyone’s pet, and we hope she can watch Cosmo again in the future if she’ll have him (even though he’s worthless when it comes to helping out with the yard work, ha!).

Angel was incredible with Addie. Her communication before and during our trip was great and very responsive. She also was willing to drop Addie off and help us when we ran out of dog food at the start of the booking. Addie had a wonderful time and would 10/10 recommend!

Sarah was great! She took wonderful care of our dogs while we were away, and it was so nice knowing they were in good hands. She was easy to communicate with, dependable, and made the whole experience stress-free. We came home to happy pups! We really appreciate her and would definitely have her watch our dogs again!

Mark is a truly first-class dog sitter! I entrusted him with my 16½-year-old poodle for four nights, and I couldn’t have asked for better care. Mark was wonderfully attentive to the needs of a senior dog and showed a level of patience that can be hard to find when you have an older pet. Every morning, like clockwork, he sent me a photo, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I give Mark my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Gresham Park home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Gresham Park.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Gresham Park sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
