“Devan was fantastic. Consistent updates, the pets were happy, and he handles larger breeds really well. Had him house sit for 5 days and had no issues! Will definitely be using him again.”
“James took care of my two dogs while I was away for almost two weeks. I missed my dogs so much and James was always responsive and sent me pics so I knew they were well taken care of. Glad to have found James on rover.”

About: I've taken care of house animals for over a decade, working with all types from small dogs and puppies to my very large white lab Drake and a few different cats! I'm comfortable walking, feeding, crating, managing potty breaks, and diffusing stressful situations (I have a dog who was abused as a puppy and struggles with certain new people so I'm no stranger to barking/feelings of threat). As a sitter, I believe a gentle touch and strong boundaries truly help our pets thrive and grow safely. I can't wait to meet your furry friends! I'm currently babysitting part-time, so I have a very flexible schedule during both weekdays and weekends to check in on and take care of your pets! While caring for pets in others' homes, the first thing I seek to establish is trust. I get it, I'm a new person invading your pet's space and it's scary! That's why I initially take some time to build rapport through playing and petting, and I start with slow, gentle movements. Once they feel more comfortable around me, my focus shifts to making sure they have all of my attention, everything they need (food, water, clean bed, etc.), and keeping the home a safe space for them while you are away!
“Javay was fantastic! Super communicative and was incredibly patient with my senior anxious dog. She was available last minute which was a huge life saver for us. Thank you so so much Javay, Murph misses you!”

“She was amazing will definitely book again! She always kept the updates coming where I didn’t have to wonder about anything with my dogs. & also my very skittish shy-like dog actually was opening up and got along with her as well!”

“Inaya cared for my dog for a week, and I’m thrilled with the experience. Her communication, friendliness, and neatness were outstanding. My dog loved hanging out with her and had a great time. Highly recommend! Inaya truly shines in the world of pet care! 🐾✨”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I grew up with beloved family dogs, and have successfully owned four cats over the last decade. I loved and responsibly cared for three family dogs throughout my childhood. I’ve also cared for many other dogs through friends, family, and sitting clients, ranging from energetic puppies to elderly companions. I’m comfortable managing different temperaments and maintaining routines that keep dogs feeling secure and loved while their people are away. I love caring for pets, whether feline or canine. My goal is to give you peace of mind, and your furry family members the consistent, affectionate care they deserve. I’m currently on a flexible gig work schedule. I’m available just about any time. I can accept same-day requests for most services. House sitting requests are best received 1-2 days in advance, but please give me a try if you’re looking for a last-minute sitter! I care for pets according to their owner’s instructions, followed by my knowledge of best practices, and ability to source reliable information from authorities on the best care for the type(s) of pet in the home. At this time, I am not offering pet care services in my own home.
“Jessica was amazing! She is a great communicator and left us a sweet note after she left. She let us know of any concerns or questions she had about the pets while we were away. She is very friendly as well! Highly recommend.”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own. I naturally connect with animals, even the shy or anxious ones, because I’m calm, patient, and pay attention to their body language. Whether it’s high-energy play or quiet companionship, I adjust to what they need. I have experience with: • Senior pets (slow walks, meds, joint care) • Giving oral medications and maintaining routines • Creating a low-stress, loving environment while you’re away More than just walking or feeding, I focus on building trust so your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. You’ll always get updates and honest communication from me, so you can fully relax. As a nursing student with an active lifestyle, pet care is a grounding and joyful part of my week. Walks with dogs keep me moving, and quiet time with cats helps relieve stress from my studies. I’m organized, reliable, and love incorporating feeding, playtime, and even litter box duties into my routine. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it genuinely helps me recharge and stay balanced. I care for pets like they’re my own, whether I’m in my home or yours. For house sitting, I keep routines consistent—feeding, walks, meds, and lots of love—while also respecting and maintaining your space. During walks or drop-ins, I focus on quality time: bathroom breaks, play, meals, and anything your pet needs to feel secure and seen. For cats, I clean litter boxes daily, monitor their behavior, and offer attention on their terms—whether that’s play, cuddles, or quiet companionship. I always leave things clean, calm, and exactly how you left them. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
“Tiffany is my go to for Bruno every time I have to go anywhere. She is a life saver. She takes care of Bruno’s special needs and is very accommodating. Would recommend her 10/10.”

“Jenny was very communicative, and took great care of our pets! She sent lots of videos and photos of our cat and dog being playful and happy, and we came home to a clean house. Grateful!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I feel like we made a great choice hiring Dan! Dan made our first experience better by happily offering to meet the pups in advance to make sure the pet sitting weekend went smoothly. His calm energy was really reassuring, especially because one of our dogs is a bit anxious. When we got home our dogs were happy and the house was tidy. We will definitely use him again for any pet sitting needs in the future.”

“Chloe did an amazing job watching our two young dogs in our new home which was in a bit of disarray from moving. The dogs and the house were well taken care of. She communicated well with us throughout our trip.”

Tiana did a wonderful job caring for my 3 foster kittens while I was away. She provided great communication throughout the visit, sent plenty of photos and updates, and gave me complete peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. She also took excellent care of my home, and everything was better than I left it when I returned. I would absolutely recommend Tiana to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, and I look forward to working with her again in the future. 🐾

Trang was a wonderful pet sitter! Communication was great, and Trang was always friendly and easy to work with. We received regular updates and photos of both our cat and dog, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our pets were well cared for, and our house was spotless when we returned. We'd definitely book Trang again in the future and would happily recommend Trang to others.

100/10 Ali is the best! She watched my two cats and high energy, teenage golden retriever while I was about for a few days. All my animals love her, especially my dog who started crying when she left. She’s a great communicator by sending daily updates with pics which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Sarah was absolutely fantastic, truly the best dog sitter we’ve had. She communicated thoroughly, sent lots of pictures, and followed our schedule. Our dog warmed up to her quickly and looked genuinely happy and comfortable the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind. When we returned, the house was left in great shape. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Sarah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.
