“Jessica is communicative, punctual, and responsible. She took amazing care of our 2 dogs and 2 cats in our home. She managed their medications and our 1-year-old puppy’s high energy. We highly recommend her!”

“Jose was a fantastic in-house sitter for my Labrador Retriever, she took to him immediately and he was a great communicator, sending plenty of updates and pics. He left my house neat as a pin, I will definitely utilize his services again!”

“There are not enough stars for Shaine. She was so professional, so comfortable and so accommodating. She gave my very very big and very very nervous boy the best weekend and she took the best care of my home.”

About: Over the past year, I've pet sat regularly for friends, including overnight house-sitting stays and drop-in visits. My friends have trusted me with repeat visits because I stick to routines, pay close attention to each pet's needs, and communicate clearly while they're away. My schedule is wide open right now (the place I worked went out of business) so I have plenty of availability for pet sitting throughout the week. I keep a regular daytime schedule and don't stay out or up late. A couple of evenings a week I have roller derby practice or networking events, but I'm typically home by 10 PM so this won't affect overnight availability. I try to be a calm, attentive presence during visits, and I carefully follow instructions on how to care for your pets. I make sure to have vet and emergency information before you leave and will let you know immediately if anything comes up while you're away. I make sure to lock up and set the alarm every time I leave and leave your home as I found it. I have references from repeat clients if you'd like to check with them first.
“Lyric did a fantastic job! Kept watch over our fur babies and sent us updated pics throughout the house sitting. It was wonderful to have the peace of mind that they were well taken care of while we were away :)”

“Caitlin was amazing with our dog and cat. She went above and beyond to make Moose feel happy and loved. He can be a bit much sometimes and we are so happy he had a great time with.”

“Lindsay was an absolute delight! She was incredibly attentive and caring with our kitten. She made sure he got plenty of playtime and attention while we were away, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We really appreciated how thoughtful and communicative she was and would definitely recommend Lindsay to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Chloe was fabulous from first meeting to the last day. My dog warmed up to her right away, and she was the perfect level of communicative throughout her visit. Can’t recommend enough!”

“Anna was amazing!!!! She helped out with a last minute request to watch our two pups and was extremely communicative, friendly and sweet. She showed up on time and the pups absolutely loved her. We will definitely book again!”

“Julia was great! I have 2 pitbulls and a grumpy cat, and she took great care of all of them. She also made sure to send pictures so I didn't have to worry about then while I was gone. I would trust my pets with Julia anytime.”

“Andrea took such great care of our pups! She was thorough in her questions about what Charlie & Pip needed. She gave us consistent updates with pictures and videos and our babies always looked very happy. Cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Jay is the best! He was so sweet and patient with my hell hounds. He took the time to get them to warm up to him and sent me progress pictures along the way. He’s a great communicator and even made the house so nice and tidy for our return home. Highly recommend!”
“Abbigail & Cody were so wonderful… what a team. They were super responsive. We got tons of puppy pics and our sweet girl was super happy when we arrived home. Looking forward to booking with them again.”

About: I grew up with a Doberman (Raven) and a Shih-Tzu (Salem) who I loved dearly. Now, I have a cat named Harvest who I adopted a year ago! I spent my senior year of high school volunteering with Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) in Houston, TX. I also volunteered at a shelter in Alexandria, VA during the brief time I lived there. I am available weekdays after 6pm for drop-in visits and dog walking. I can house sit Fri-Sun, beginning Fri evening and leaving Sun evening. I will have more daytime availability starting mid-August and will update this then. I live in a quiet one-bedroom apartment with my cat, Harvest. I'm often reading or sitting out on my balcony enjoying the peace.
“Stephanie is the absolute best. I trust her completely and am so grateful she is in our lives. I even had to drop a last-minute request for medications because Fauna had a procedure the DAY before I left town. I almost didn't leave on my trip but Stephanie is confident, reliable, and even ended up teaching me a few things about how to give meds. Forever grateful!!!”

About: I love animals but can’t have pets in my apartment so would appreciate sharing that love with your pet! I have been caring for a variety of pets since 2019, mostly dogs & cats (and the occasional bird!). I have experience with dogs of all sizes (from chihuahuas to Great Danes) and most ages. I have less experience with puppies but lots of experience with senior dogs. I have experience with high energy dogs that need multiple walks a day and dogs that struggle with mobility. I have experience with dogs who require medication. I have experience with cats of all temperaments. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. I have a fairly flexible schedule so am available during the day most days and on weekends. I have been regularly caring for my parents’ elderly Great Dane (11 years old now) since 2020. I am looking forward to spending more time caring for pets. I care for pets in their home environment according to the standards set by the owners. I am very conscious of varying family rules on things such as furniture and am happy to adhere to those expectations. I prefer to stick to whatever schedule the pet(s) are used to (regular walk times, regular feeding times, etc).
“Savannah is an absolute gem! She recently took care of our 3 pups and our home while we spent a week at the beach, and she went above and beyond! She made sure we were updated on how the pups were doing and actively looked for ways to help us around our home to make our return so much easier. Our pups were so happy when we came home, we could tell they received so much TLC. Highly recommend!”

“Jordyn is awesome! She takes such good care of our 2 dogs. She stayed in our house this past weekend to take care of them, and it was such a relief having somebody there that you knew was responsible and loving towards your dogs.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Belvedere Park
Lindsey is truly amazing! When you have two senior dogs, including one who is 16, every day can bring a little worry. Not because anything is necessarily wrong, but simply because they’re getting older. I was away for work for two weeks, and Lindsey managed to put all of my worries at ease. She was an impeccable communicator. I received frequent updates and photos, and my dogs looked genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable in her care. I can’t thank Lindsey enough for giving me such peace of mind while I was away!

Elizabeth was great! Her main charge, Babycat was well cared for and didn't seem to notice that I was gone. It was comforting knowing Elizabeth was at the house in my absence as the Baby can get a bit stressed when alone for too long. She also took great care of all the plants inside and outside. I got near daily updates with cute photos. All great!
Excellent service, looked after the dogs brilliantly, took care of the home, great communication and a lovely, friendly and professional dog and home sitter, just what we were hoping for! Our dogs can be a little nervous and wary, but got on really well with Lindsay.
Brittany was great! We have two dogs and we were out of the country for 9 nights and Brittany did a wonderful job with our dogs and our house. She was communicative, sent pics, and spent so much quality time with our dogs. She also took great care of our home and it was spotless when we returned :) We will definitely use her again if we take another trip. Highly recommend!

Jessica was absolutely exceptional. Leaving your home and a young kitten in someone else’s care can be stressful, but Jessica made the entire experience effortless from start to finish. She treated our home with incredible respect, keeping everything spotless and exactly as we left it. More importantly, she gave our kitten so much love, attention, and playtime that we never once worried while we were away. She sent thoughtful updates and photos throughout the week, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and made it clear our little one was happy, comfortable, and thriving. It’s obvious that Jessica genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. She is dependable, communicative, kind, and went above and beyond in every way. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitten and a home that was even tidier than when we left. We would trust Jessica again without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter or house sitter. She is truly one of the best, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Five stars isn’t enough!

Stephanie was wonderful sitting for my dog Penny. Penny took to Stephanie immediately after meeting her and remained perfectly comfortable with her for the whole 10 day period I was away. Penny was fed, got her meds, was taken on walks, exactly as I requested. Stephanie took perfect care of my house as well -- I arrived home to a clean house, fresh sheets on the bed, and some homemade banana bread! I hope Stephanie will be available whenever I have to travel. I can't recommend Stephanie highly enough!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Belvedere Park on Rover is $44.67 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 4,787 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Belvedere Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Belvedere Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Belvedere Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Belvedere Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Belvedere Park. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
