“Ashley is always so courteous and patient with me and my time. She took great care of Tokyo and she’s very responsive to what I need. I came home and my dog looked like he was well taken care of while I was away. Thank you Ashley. I will be booking more experiences with her. 🥰”

“This was my first time using Rover and I feel like we made a great choice hiring Dan! Dan made our first experience better by happily offering to meet the pups in advance to make sure the pet sitting weekend went smoothly. His calm energy was really reassuring, especially because one of our dogs is a bit anxious. When we got home our dogs were happy and the house was tidy. We will definitely use him again for any pet sitting needs in the future.”

“Javay was fantastic! Super communicative and was incredibly patient with my senior anxious dog. She was available last minute which was a huge life saver for us. Thank you so so much Javay, Murph misses you!”

About: I am a wildlife biologist for the Georgia DNR working for the Urban Wildlife Program. I have years of experience dog-sitting, primarily for large- and medium-sized dogs in the Chicago area. My work schedule is very flexible, allowing me to take my time to care for your critters! A large part of my job is responding to wildlife emergencies using years of experience and best-judgment decision making, which makes for a great pet-sitter. I am a wildlife biologist that works from home in Decatur. My workload is quite low so it is easy to fit pet care into my schedule throughout the week. My flexible schedule affords me ample time to provide proper attention to animals. I have a calm demeanor with strong attention to detail when it comes to care instruction. My experience as a wildlife biologist has trained me how to monitor animals for emergencies and how to be calm in the face of the unknown or unexpected. I am used to following strict research protocol, so following along for the care of your animal will be a breeze.

“Very good with animals she does not only pet sit, but is a groomer and just a pleasant person to interact with. She’s also takes her studies in vet care very serious. I highly recommend her.”

“Kaylee was an excellent sitter for our Tula. She was prompt and professional, and the perfect companion for our little dog, who is often skeptical of strangers. We will be using her services again!”

“Brittany was absolutely amazing and took great care of our dog Ranger while we were out of town. The house was immaculate when we returned including the sheets washed which was so appreciated! Ranger got lots of love and we got updates from Brittany throughout. We will absolutely work with Brittany again!”

“Ashley was wonderful with our puppy. He came down with kennel cough just prior to our leaving and couldn’t be boarded. Ashley was prompt, flexible, and so loving with our puppy. She stayed with him in our house, giving us peace of mind while we were away and sent frequent pictures and videos of him to keep us updated about how he was doing. We would definitely have Ashley stay and take care of Finley again.”

“I would highly recommend Deb to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy petsitter! She watched our dog at our house while we were out of town, and we felt so comfortable while we were away knowing that our dog and home were in great hands. She was a prompt and excellent communicator during her stay. She made sure to visit us and meet our pup before the stay, too, and asked great questions to make sure she understood our dog's needs and any needs we had for the house while we were away. We look forward to having Deb dogsit for us again soon!”

“James took care of my two dogs while I was away for almost two weeks. I missed my dogs so much and James was always responsive and sent me pics so I knew they were well taken care of. Glad to have found James on rover.”

Ace was absolutely amazing with our cats! We were pretty anxious about leaving them—especially since we have an older cat and a newer, younger one we weren’t sure would do well together—but she put our minds completely at ease. She took such great care of them and kept us updated with pictures while we were away, which meant so much to us. It was such a relief to come home and see that both cats were happy and doing well (and even getting along!). You can really tell she cares, and we’re so grateful for the love and attention she gave them. We would 100% trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring cat sitter!

Bliss stayed at my place and took care of my 2 cats for 5 days. And I couldn't be more thrilled that they did! They sent both photos and video with updates of my cats, who looked so relaxed and happy, which is rare with someone they just met. Bliss is definitely a cat whisperer! They also left my apartment clean and cared for, too. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Bliss! Rico and Sly send snuggles ;)

Joline was AMAZING!! 🤩 She took such great care of my little dog while I was out of town visiting family. I would definitely recommend her as well as rebook with her myself. She also took wonderful care of my apartment and it was so nice to come back to a clean home and a happy dog 🐶 💗.

Noah was great. He came beforehand for a meet and great and was on time, very kind, and great with meeting the animals. He took care of them for about 3 or 4 days and everyone seemed very happy when got home. We would definitely reach out to Noah for future pet sitting.
