I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years and have fostered more than 30 dogs through Furkids Animal Shelter and our county euthanasia list. That experience has given me hands-on knowledge with dogs and cats at every life stage, from puppies still learning potty training to seniors with ongoing medical needs. I lead with empathy and patience, especially with animals who may be nervous, adjusting, or need extra understanding. I’m comfortable administering care for medical needs and maintaining routines that help pets feel safe and secure. I care for every animal the way I care for my own and treat each one I meet with the same love, respect, and attention. I am experienced with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, and fish tanks. I am also certified in Dog/Cat First Aid.

Manuela did a fantastic job! She sent me lots of video and photo updates, and my dog came back happy and tired out from a great weekend of play. I would absolutely recommend Manuela to anyone who is looking for a sitter.
Manuela took such good care of my girl. She sent updates with plenty of pictures and videos. Would definitely use her again!!
Manuela is terrific! She took excellent care of my two high maintenance pups--one an older dog with some medical needs and the other a younger, energetic dog who likes to play and get lots of attention. Her home and yard are clean and very dog friendly. Manuela also does a great job communicating with regular text and photo updates. I"ll look forward to boarding my dogs with her again.

Manuela was amazing. She communicated every day with updates about our pup, Otis. She shared pictures and videos and we genuinely felt he was in great hands. He was a happy boy with Manuela and we will definitely use her again in the future.

Zeitplan
Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine. During the week, I work in an office Monday through Thursday but have flexibility for pet check-ins and dog walks as needed. From Friday through Sunday, I am home with much more flexibility, which allows me to focus on overnight boarding, day sitting, extended care, and walks. I structure my schedule around each pet’s needs to ensure they receive consistent attention, care, and companionship. I am unable to offer constant care. Updates are sent one or twice a day based on the pet parent's prefrerence.

In my home, pets have a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment. I have a fully fenced yard with turf and a large deck, and we spend most of our days outside enjoying fresh air and supervised play, weather permitting. I also have a dedicated room just for dogs, giving them their own calm and cozy space when they need downtime. I am able to accommodate dogs who are dog-friendly or dog-tolerant, and I carefully manage interactions to ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure. Crating is optional and always based on the pet parent’s preference, as long as the dog is non-destructive when I step out. When caring for pets overnight, I’m never gone for more than a few hours in a day, so your pet receives consistent attention, companionship, and care—just like they would at home.

A typical day with me is calm, active, and tailored to your dog. We head out for a walk that matches their energy level, with plenty of sniff breaks and fresh air. I stick closely to your routine, keep things positive, and make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for. After our walk, I refresh water, do a quick paw check, and leave your pup happy and relaxed. You’ll get photo updates and a quick note so you always know how things went.
