About: Over the past year, I've pet sat regularly for friends, including overnight house-sitting stays and drop-in visits. My friends have trusted me with repeat visits because I stick to routines, pay close attention to each pet's needs, and communicate clearly while they're away. My schedule is wide open right now (the place I worked went out of business) so I have plenty of availability for pet sitting throughout the week. I keep a regular daytime schedule and don't stay out or up late. A couple of evenings a week I have roller derby practice or networking events, but I'm typically home by 10 PM so this won't affect overnight availability. I try to be a calm, attentive presence during visits, and I carefully follow instructions on how to care for your pets. I make sure to have vet and emergency information before you leave and will let you know immediately if anything comes up while you're away. I make sure to lock up and set the alarm every time I leave and leave your home as I found it. I have references from repeat clients if you'd like to check with them first.

About: I grew up with a Doberman (Raven) and a Shih-Tzu (Salem) who I loved dearly. Now, I have a cat named Harvest who I adopted a year ago! I spent my senior year of high school volunteering with Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) in Houston, TX. I also volunteered at a shelter in Alexandria, VA during the brief time I lived there. I am available weekdays after 6pm for drop-in visits and dog walking. I can house sit Fri-Sun, beginning Fri evening and leaving Sun evening. I will have more daytime availability starting mid-August and will update this then. I live in a quiet one-bedroom apartment with my cat, Harvest. Lindsey is truly amazing! When you have two senior dogs, including one who is 16, every day can bring a little worry. Not because anything is necessarily wrong, but simply because they’re getting older. I was away for work for two weeks, and Lindsey managed to put all of my worries at ease. She was an impeccable communicator. I received frequent updates and photos, and my dogs looked genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable in her care. I can’t thank Lindsey enough for giving me such peace of mind while I was away!
Elizabeth was great! Her main charge, Babycat was well cared for and didn't seem to notice that I was gone. It was comforting knowing Elizabeth was at the house in my absence as the Baby can get a bit stressed when alone for too long. She also took great care of all the plants inside and outside. I got near daily updates with cute photos. All great!

We were very pleased with Jennifer as she cared for our dog, Barley, and our home, while we were out of town. She is very responsible, detailed, caring, and communicative. Barley can be an anxious boy, but he seemed very content with Jennifer’s care. Barley looked very happy and relaxed in the pictures she sent us in her daily communications. On our return home it was obvious that Barley and our home had been well looked after. Big extra kudos go to Jennifer for dealing with a power and internet outage that occurred during a storm on her first day there. Power was restored quickly but the Xfinity internet outage lasted 5 days! Not only did Jennifer have to change her plans with no internet, but she worked with us from afar to troubleshoot with Comcast, coordinate a tech visit, and be here to help the tech on the day we were in the air traveling back. Thank you Jennifer for going above and beyond! We highly recommend Jennifer to care for your pet and home.
Brittany was great! We have two dogs and we were out of the country for 9 nights and Brittany did a wonderful job with our dogs and our house. She was communicative, sent pics, and spent so much quality time with our dogs. She also took great care of our home and it was spotless when we returned :) We will definitely use her again if we take another trip. Highly recommend!

We came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitten and a home that was even tidier than when we left. Stephanie was wonderful sitting for my dog Penny. Penny took to Stephanie immediately after meeting her and remained perfectly comfortable with her for the whole 10 day period I was away. Penny was fed, got her meds, was taken on walks, exactly as I requested. Stephanie took perfect care of my house as well -- I arrived home to a clean house, fresh sheets on the bed, and some homemade banana bread!
