About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. I currently have only my little Percy - he's strictly an indoor cat with his routine - early am feedings and lots of sleep during the day. About: I’m a huge dog lover, there isn’t much that I’m more passionate about than dogs. I come from a big dog loving family. I’ve been a dog owner most of my life. Since I was about 8 I would study and research all I could about dogs and I’ve even trained pretty much every family dog we’ve. It was mostly the basics and cool tricks. Even til this day I enjoy teaching my pup new fun tricks I pretty much have open availability on weekends. I work through the week but I’m willing to help out with the pups through the week as well My pup has free roam in my house. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats (often at the same time) since I was old enough to hold the leash and walk with one of my childhood family pups Hershey on my own. My spouse (Paroma) and I have fostered and rescued dogs and cats of all ages and sizes -- from rambunctious puppies and kittens to senior fospice (foster hospice) cats and dogs -- since 2018. We currently have a Pitty-mix (Mako) our long-legged Jack Russell terrier/Chihuahua/Corgi (Boris) and a sweet orange cat named Cathulu (or Cat, for short). Our animal care philosophy is simple: when your animal is with us, I (we) ensure they know they're loved, well-fed, and have plenty of play time, walks, and/or good company, no matter where they are. I am currently available for full time dog/cat sitting (our house boarding or in your house overnights), in-house/apartment visits, walks, play time, or anything besides certified training and grooming. I am available all seven calendar days in the week. I have a fenced yard, two sweet dogs and a cat to keep your creature company. If your dog or cat prefers their own space, I will absolutely ensure they have it in our home. My 12 year old pup Leo passed away 🌈 recently and it has been a comfort to have furry friends in the house to keep me company! About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!

Transport for your dog (5 mi radius from my home only) Nov - March: 9 am to 5 pm . Apr - Oct: 9 am to 7 pm. Cat care visits in your home: 9 am to 5 pm. Messages returned between 8 am and 8 pm. Meet and greets in my home scheduled between 8 am to 7 pm. Meet and greets in your home scheduled between 9 am to 5 pm Thank you! Daily schedules can be adapted to your dog's needs. However, they must be able to sleep through the night. They can be let outside in the morning as early as 6:30 am. Please advise me if their usual schedule can/cannot adhere to that. I have a completely fenced and well maintained backyard. The fence is a 4 ft high chain link fence. Dogs can run and play freely off leash with my dog. For in-home cat care, I am VERY careful when going in and out and make sure everything is left clean and organized. I will interact/play with all cats who will let me!

I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights during the week and have open flexibility on the weekends. Having someone you can trust to care for your pet is a huge relief, I promise that your fur baby (or babies!) will be in good hands and feel the love when you are not able to be there! Im currently working from home with schedule flexibility, so your pet will have the time and attention they need while you are away. Whether it’s an early morning walk or time needed after dinner, I can assist. I like to keep to the same schedule that the pet is used to. I ensure pets are fed and walked at times they are used to. I make sure to spend time with pets after feeding and then take them out before leaving. We currently do not have pets in our home, so if boarding is needed you do not need to worry about other pets. We also have a large fenced in backyard and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood that includes a lake with lots of ducks and geese, a fun time for everyone :)

About: I love animals but can’t have pets in my apartment so would appreciate sharing that love with your pet! I have been caring for a variety of pets since 2019, mostly dogs & cats (and the occasional bird!). I have experience with dogs of all sizes (from chihuahuas to Great Danes) and most ages. I have less experience with puppies but lots of experience with senior dogs. I have experience with high energy dogs that need multiple walks a day and dogs that struggle with mobility. I have a fairly flexible schedule so am available during the day most days and on weekends. I have been regularly caring for my parents’ elderly Great Dane (11 years old now) since 2020. I am very conscious of varying family rules on things such as furniture and am happy to adhere to those expectations. I prefer to stick to whatever schedule the pet(s) are used to (regular walk times, regular feeding times, etc).

I have trained many dogs, including pitbull’s Saint Bernards, Chihuahuas, Maltese, etc. I have taken care of dogs at all ages in stages of life, elderly, puppy, pregnant. I absolutely adore dogs! About: I’ve grown up taking care of animals my entire life. I’ve never been without an animal in my 24 years of living. I’m really good at giving baths and following specific instructions. I have my own transportation. I have also done some drop ins for my family and friends while they’re out of town to take care of their animals. “My dog has a somewhat nervous disposition, but Colleen went out of her way to ensure that my dog would feel comfortable with her. Before boarding my dog, she suggested meeting up at a dog park so my dog could become familiar with her and her dog. Later, when I dropped my dog off for boarding, Colleen carefully introduced her to the other dogs in the house one at a time so she wouldn't get overwhelmed. Additionally, Colleen incorporated familiar blankets and routines from home to help my dog settle into her new situation. Although my dog is sometimes too anxious to eat when she's in a new place, she consistently ate well at Colleen's. She also enjoyed going for walks, watching the world from the front window, and hanging out on the couch and back deck with the other dogs. Colleen shared regular updates and photos about how my dog was doing. She was also quick to respond to updates from my end. I'm very thankful for the thoughtful care Colleen provided throughout my dog's stay in her home!”
