About: I grew up in an animal-loving home and have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards, and rodents. I have worked as a kennel tech at an emergency vet, volunteered at animal shelters walking dogs and socializing cats, and have volunteered at a local wildlife center for over 5 years. Right now, I have 2 amazing dogs and foster kittens for Dekalb County Animal Services. I strive to offer enriching and engaging pet care services, whether that includes going on walks, playing in the park, or staying home and playing or giving scritches. I also pride myself in staying up-to-date with pet care methods. I can administer medication, provide simple grooming services (bath and brush), and provide small animal care. I have a soft spot for senior dogs and understand that they can have extra needs. My schedule is flexible and can accommodate you and your pet's needs. I am currently job hunting and fill my time with child-care and pet-care jobs, and I keep my availability calendar up to date and always strive to provide as much advance notice as possible for any changes. I will follow your pet's typical routines as closely as possible while building trust and comfort. My priority is providing engaging and safe care and caring for pets as if they're my own.

Cannot accept incontinent dogs* *Must be dog friendly* *Not best match for high energy dogs* I love, love, love taking care of animals and helping them feel safe and comforted while they are away from their family and may be nervous and/or scared. This is not a side hustle for me, but my main focus along with taking care of my dog and cat. I worked in animal rescue and fostering for 15 years and have had pets all my life. I am a certified pet sitter through Pet Sitters International. I will welcome your pets into my home and treat them as my own -they will be my first priority. My job is to help them feel happy, loved and calm while they are separated from their two-leggeds. And to give you peace of mind while you are away. I live in a house with a large yard, the back is completely fenced, and we also have a screened in porch that is great for sunning and relaxing. I am retired and now at home full time, except for when I leave to do in-home pet appointments for others, errands, etc. I have one dog, a senior Jack Russell Terrier. A pre-stay consult is REQUIRED at no cost. Therefore I cannot accept same day requests. Texts, pictures, and sometimes videos if I get something good, sent daily. For in home stays, if you drop off in the morning and pick up in the evening, a daycare charge is added for the last day. Hours: Drop offs and pick ups accepted at my home 8 am to 8 pm. Transport for your dog (5 mi radius from my home only) Nov - March: 9 am to 5 pm . Apr - Oct: 9 am to 7 pm. Cat care visits in your home: 9 am to 5 pm. Messages returned between 8 am and 8 pm. Meet and greets in my home scheduled between 8 am to 7 pm. Meet and greets in your home scheduled between 9 am to 5 pm Thank you! Daily schedules can be adapted to your dog's needs. However, they must be able to sleep through the night. They can be let outside in the morning as early as 6:30 am. Please advise me if their usual schedule can/cannot adhere to that. I have a completely fenced and well maintained backyard. The fence is a 4 ft high chain link fence. Dogs can run and play freely off leash with my dog. For in-home cat care, I am VERY careful when going in and out and make sure everything is left clean and organized. I will interact/play with all cats who will let me!

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and family and friends dogs for the past several years. I understand how important it is to ensure that the pet feels safe and secure while their favorite humans are out of town, along with keeping their schedule on track. I am currently available most afternoons and weekends. My current schedule is very flexible and can work around most needs and days of the week. I will care for your pets as you would like them to be cared for, whether that is crating at night or making sure they are walked both in the morning and the afternoon.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of animals my entire life. I’ve never been without an animal in my 24 years of living. I’m really good at giving baths and following specific instructions. I have my own transportation. I have also done some drop ins for my family and friends while they’re out of town to take care of their animals. I promise I am extremely responsible and you can trust me with your furry friends. I also exercise so walking animals can help me get in my workout as well as theirs so it’s a win win for everybody. I do not discriminate against any dogs or cats. I love all of them equally and they will all get equally loved by me every time I see them :). I am currently working part-time so I have a lot of availability throughout the week to take care of your animals! I can drop in, I can walk them whatever your needs are I can meet them for you! I have experienced distributing medicine so if you have any animals that need that I can do that for you. I will feed them,play with them-cuddle. Take them out for walks. Anything that you need!

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life! Starting when I was in elementary school, I began pet-sitting for friends and neighbors. I cared for my dog, Zoe, for 15 years, before she passed away in 2019. I know how to care for senior animals who might need medication or struggle with sight/hearing or going to the bathroom. I’m accepting of any and all animals! I previously worked at a Doggy Daycare, which helped me gain experience with various dog breeds, sizes, and ages. I also gained invaluable knowledge about dog body language and the best ways to interact with anxious or shy dogs. Through working with Rover, I’ve gained a lot of experience working with cats and have learned to take a unique approach to each cat based off of their personality and temperament. I currently have full-time availability, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets that I sit. I also love taking lots of cute pictures to send to pet parents! I am open to new clients and can’t wait to build a bond with your pet/pets! I am currently available full-time. A day of pet care for me would be having one housesitting booked and a few drop-ins or walks. I would spend my time with the pet I’m housesitting for, when I’m not completing another booking, making sure they’re kept company and all their needs are met. When housesitting, I try to spend most of my time with the pet/pets, whether that means walks, playing, or simply lounging together. When doing walks/drop-ins and housesitting, I treat the owner’s house with the utmost respect.

About: I helped care for my family’s two cats since I was about five years old. One of whom was diabetic and needed insulin shots twice a day, which gave me experience giving injections. I have also volunteered with the Humane Society and helped to care for my neighbors' pets. My family now owns a dog (Juno) and I own a cat (Blue). I am a full-time student at UGA, so my schedule will change every semester. However, I almost always have time for pet care in the afternoons, on the weekends, and for holidays! Just discuss any needs with me and I will let you know what my specific day-to-day schedule is looking like. I engage and play with your pets to keep them entertained while also keeping them well-cared for and safe! I ensure that they enjoy their time with me and I with them.
