About: I've enjoyed having a dog since before I moved out of the house. My current dog, Leo is very friendly with all the neighbors-the kids love to stop and pet him. I've helped with dogs and cats when friends and neighbors are out of town. My sister's dog, Ferguson, a terrier/chihuahua mix has stayed with us off and own for a few years. It's interesting how you rise the occasion when you have a sick pet. My dog Sampson suffered from cancer several years ago now, and part of the treatment was to provide him with subcutaneous saline. In exchange for all the love and comfort a pet provides, it's paramount that we as owners provide the same in return. I am a recent retiree and have a flexible schedule. Weekday and weekend opportunities to help people with their pets is easy for me to do. All my dogs have been crate trained. When we leave the house it is not an issue to use the crate. My current dog, Leo behaves very well in the house alone, so we use the crate less and less with him. Almost always he camps out by the back door waiting for us to come home.

“Lauren is fantastic. Our dog absolutely loves her and he can be very shy and anxious. She always sends so many pictures of my pet, as well as an update on how they’re doing, which I really appreciate!”

“Stacy was great - I have a senior lab with mobility issues and she was able to help him in and out of my house while I had a long work day. Thanks!”

“My dog is a pain in the ass. She's great for working with him”

“In a very short time, Sydney has gotten to know myself and Bella. She has been great walking her! She’s proactive about communicating, on time and follows instructions for Bella’s care. I really appreciate her gentleness, commitment and care for Bella!”

“Jenn is the best dogsitter you will ever, ever, ever have and here’s why. Nobody cares more than Jenn. Nobody is more compassionate than Jenn. Nobody loves dogs more and goes above and beyond for their clients more than Jenn. She is by far the best dogsitter, co-dog mom, and friend any dog or cat mom or dad could ever ask for. Jenn is so experienced and she is the only person that when I leave town, I don’t even think twice! That’s because she treats every dog or cat like they are her own. She truly cares and takes such amazing care of her client’s fur babies. Jenn has been there for me during some very difficult times and on short notice, when I lost a family member, when I had to work out of town for 20 days straight, and much more. She takes the time to spend quality time with your pet and always makes sure they are loved. I would be NOWHERE without Jenn and no one will ever measure up. She is the gold standard for pet care and we love her SO MUCH!”

About: For all pet lovers, I know one thing is certain: these furry friends are very important members of the family, and I’ll treat them like my own! Whether you’re going out of town for the weekend or just need someone to pop in and take your pup for a quick walk, I will always make sure that your pet is taken care of with extra love and attention to detail to put your mind at ease. While I’m new to the Rover app, I have years of experience taking care of others animals. Your pet deserves everything they would get in their own home, so please feel free to share any details with me that will be useful for their care. I’m currently working Tuesday through Saturday from 2p-10p, making my schedule great for lunch time walks or any attention your pet may need during the morning or early afternoon. I don’t work on Sunday or Monday, making these days the best to board your pets, so I can give them all of the love and attention they need! My apartment complex is directly outside of a small park area perfect for potty breaks and outdoor walks to help your pet get any extra energy out during the day. I’m comfortable using my own experience along with the owners wishes to ensure the pet receives proper attention, food, and play time for them to be happy and healthy.

About: Ok, I’ll be honest. If I could spend a half hour with your dog to just play, go on a walk, whatever….for keeping me busy for the 30 mins….yeah, I’d probably offer to pay you $10 for that. So, the fact that you’re gonna pay me $11 for what I just admitted to above (that I would have paid you $10!)…..well, bonus. It then feels like I MADE $21! That’s how much I want to hang with your pup I am recently retired and would love to care for your dog. I’m usually available as long as I get a days notice, but could also be available same day if you get in a bind. I am happy to come to your home and play with, feed and take your dog for a walk. I’ll make sure your dog gets great care!

About: Hi there! I’m an animal lover with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have a flexible schedule and can help care for your furry friend during the workday or when you are on vacation. I use Rover myself when I’m on trips, so I know how great it feels to have a pet who is safe and happy while you’re away! I’m typically very flexible and available for day-time or evening care. I particularly love drop-in bookings so that I can take your buddy for midday walks! I am adaptable, responsible, and considerate when visiting your friends and entering your home. I love getting to take photos and share updates with you and catering to what my new friend needs for each visit: belly rubs? Walk? Words of affirmation? :)

“Julie was fantastic! Our dog loved her right away. She reached out to me often with updates and was always prompt in responding. We will definitely be using her again!”

About: Hi! I’m Kelsey—an animal lover, full-time grad student getting my master’s in nursing, and part-time belly rub specialist. I decided to join Rover so I can make some extra cash while doing something I love: being around animals!! I have two babies of my own—Louise (aka Wheezy), my sweet but mostly sassy tuxedo cat, and Layla, my Bichon Frise who I got as a Christmas present when I was 7 years old and spent 16 amazing years with. I lost Layla in 2022, and while no pup could ever replace her in my home, I still have so much love to give to others’ dogs. She’s another big reason I joined Rover. Whether your pup wants a leisurely stroll or a power walk to tire them out, I’ve got the leash, the love, and the energy. Can’t wait to meet your fur baby! While Mondays are reserved for nursing clinicals and Thursdays and Fridays are packed with long lectures (future nurse life!), I’m available and reliable for weekends and the other weekdays. Whether it’s a midday stroll or some weekend company for your pup, I’ve got you covered! When I’m caring for pets in your home, I prioritize making them feel comfortable and loved while keeping your space tidy and respected. I stick to your pet’s usual routine, keep things calm and cozy, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, or just some snuggles on the couch, I’ll make sure your fur baby gets all the attention they deserve!

About: Hi there! I’m Maura—a soon-to-be college grad and then grad student with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I truly believe pets are family. Whether your dog needs long walks and playtime or your cat just wants a quiet buddy while you're away, I’m here to help. I’m dependable, respectful of your home, and always communicate clearly so you feel confident and worry-free while you're away. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays, and I’m happy to accommodate special instructions, medications, or shy pets. I’ll treat your pet like my own—with patience, care, and lots of love. Let’s connect—I’d love to meet your furry friend! I have flexible availability outside of those hours, especially for morning, evening, and weekend pet care. Weekdays: Early mornings and evenings Weekends: Mostly open and available for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays Overnights: Available most weekends and some weekdays with advance notice If you're unsure whether a time works, just shoot me a message—I'd love to help if I can! When I’m caring for pets in someone else’s home, I treat it like I would my own—with a lot of respect, care, and attention to detail. I always try to stick to your pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away—whether that’s walk times, meal schedules, or just hanging out in their favorite sunny spot. I’m happy to follow any special instructions (like giving meds or managing quirks), and I always make sure to leave your space just as I found it. I know how important it is to trust someone in your home, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands.

“Chimere was so wonderful to our dog. She came for a meet and greet before our trip and she was so kind and likeable from the get go to both my wife and I and our dog. She was on time for all walks and followed all instructions and was great at communicating with us while we were gone. She also spent time giving our dog some love and attention, and that was very much appreciated. Highly recommend Chimere and we will definitely use her again!”

About: I promise I won’t steal them😭 I love dogs and cats and bunnies and any pet really, but my parents have bad allergies and now I live in a shared apartment with a roommate. I have had a Great Pyrenees when I was younger, so I have experience with BIG dogs. However, I would love to walk any size/breed/species! It’ll be a win-win! I’m currently going into office three days a week Tues-Thurs, but I’m home by around 5 everyday. On other days Fri-Mon, I’m free the whole day! I grew up very athletic (13+ years of competitive swim), so I would be able to handle most dogs and differing energy levels on walks!
