“Jay is great with our dog, Theo! He not only walks him but he takes him to the dog park everyday! When we come home, Theo is happier than he has been in a long time--i do think that is a direct result of Jay's time and attention to him!”
About: Hi there! I’m Cameron Lily, and I’ve been caring for pets pretty much my whole life. Growing up with large dogs and now being a cat mom to two, I’ve got a lot of experience with both furry friends. Over the past four years, I’ve been walking neighborhood dogs and cat-sitting as a graduate student. Now, I’m excited to keep up my pet care work and bring that same love and attention to your pets as if they were my own! I'm currently very flexible with my schedule, as I have recently graduated from my master’s program and am starting full-time work in October. In my previous full-time job and as a student, I was able to successfully manage my time by coordinating with pet-owners, being flexible, and collaborating on the best care possible for their furry friends. I strive to go above and beyond for both pets and their parents! From cleaning up any accidental pet messes to taking picture-perfect photos to keep the owners updated while away. I love to chat with the pet owners beforehand to get a better understanding of their priorities.
About: I love animals but can’t have pets in my apartment so would appreciate sharing that love with your pet! I have been caring for a variety of pets since 2019, mostly dogs & cats (and the occasional bird!). I have experience with dogs of all sizes (from chihuahuas to Great Danes) and most ages. I have less experience with puppies but lots of experience with senior dogs. I have experience with high energy dogs that need multiple walks a day and dogs that struggle with mobility. I have experience with dogs who require medication. I have experience with cats of all temperaments. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. I have a fairly flexible schedule so am available during the day most days and on weekends. I have been regularly caring for my parents’ elderly Great Dane (11 years old now) since 2020. I am looking forward to spending more time caring for pets. I care for pets in their home environment according to the standards set by the owners. I am very conscious of varying family rules on things such as furniture and am happy to adhere to those expectations. I prefer to stick to whatever schedule the pet(s) are used to (regular walk times, regular feeding times, etc).
“Demi was awesome! She stepped in to walk my elderly father’s dog while he was recovering surgery. She came several times a day for over a week, was reliable, on-time and courteous, and great with our pet of course.”

About: I’m a dog lover with 5+ years of hands-on animal care experience! 🐶 I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Maryville College and a Master of Public Health from UAB. I’ve worked as a canine caretaker, veterinary assistant, and at animal shelters and spay/neuter clinics. I’m also a proud pet mom to a dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon! 🐾 I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, grooming, and medication support. I treat every pet like my own and love making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away! Im a stay at home mom available 24/7. My dog goes on a walk three times a day. We have a dog park that I take her to and give her time to be outside and sniff. My pets are very well taken care of and get a lot of attention. My dog is crated when I leave as she is a escape artist and likes to take food off of the counter. However my animals sleep with me every night and gets plenty of cuddles.

“Andrew was extraordinarily patient and kind with our dogs. My dog Jack is fearful of strangers and a real handful. Andrew was able to handle walking him and our other dog Auggie. We appreciate his willingness to take on the task of taking them on daily walks. Definitely recommend Andrew to care for your fur babies.”

About: We were lucky to have two amazing dogs for 15 and 16 years, caring for them from playful puppyhood all the way through their senior years—including supporting one through cancer. They’ve since passed, and we truly miss having that love and energy in our home. Because of our experience, we’re comfortable and equipped to care for dogs at every stage of life. More than anything, we understand how much your pups mean to you, and we’ll give them the same love, attention, and care we gave our own. I work from home full time, so I have plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, and snuggles throughout the day. Most weekends we spend time at home playing in our fenced in backyard. At my home, pets enjoy a safe, comfortable environment with a fenced-in backyard for play and potty breaks. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and any special instructions. Crates are available if needed, and I make sure pups get plenty of love, attention, and snuggle time. When visiting a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule to keep them comfortable. I handle feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions so your dog feels safe and loved in their own environment.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, including German Shepherds, Chihuahuas, and Shih Tzus. I currently have a Chihuahua of my own, so I understand how much our pets mean to us. I’m comfortable with both large and small dogs and love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I’m patient, gentle, attentive, and will treat your dog like family while they’re in my care. I have a flexible schedule and can work pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m happy to communicate about your pet’s specific routine and needs. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep pets safe and supervised, and make sure they have everything they need. I’m dependable, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and routine.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have trained many dogs, including pitbull’s Saint Bernards, Chihuahuas, Maltese, etc. I have taken care of dogs at all ages in stages of life, elderly, puppy, pregnant. I absolutely adore dogs! I am an avid walker and walk over 6 miles daily. I would love to help out some people with furry friends who aren’t able to walk them as much! I am a great choice when it comes to watching your dog when you are away! I am super accountable and enjoy spending time with dogs!
About: I grew up with dogs and a cat in a loving home and absolutely love animals! I've also dog sat for close family and friends throughout my life. My soul kitty just passed away recently and I'm looking to fill my time with love, care, and cuddles from our furry family members we love so much. I know what it's like to care for, show love and interest, play and meet their needs where they're at. I may be new to pet sitting with Rover, but I am not new to caring for and loving animals. I've used Rover for pet sitters to care for my cat when she was with me, and am familiar with this platform and the needs/concerns of being a pet parent. I promise to care for your pets just as I did for my kitty. I work in the office Monday-Wednesdays, but work from home Thursdays-Fridays. I have more daytime flexibility for drop ins on Thur/Fri. Otherwise happy to do drops ins outside of working hours in the beginning of the week. While I live in a condo, there is plenty of space to take dogs out for a walk, potty, etc. I live in a quiet complex and have a nice little nature path between our buildings. I can also easily to take them to dog parks that are close by (on leash of course, I wouldn't take them off leash as they are not my own-for everyone's safety). If staying at your home-I am respectful and will follow all instructions to the t.
“I had never used Alexa before, but I’m glad I did. She took really good care of Hank and I couldn’t be more thankful. Easy girl to trust. Goes above and beyond letting you know how her time was with your pet.”

About: I love, respect, care for and appreciate all Gods beautiful creations, especially if I am blessed to receive them personally. I have had and taking care of pets my entire life and I don’t have any children. Taking care of your babies would be my absolute honor and bring me joy to provide a peace of mind for you to enjoy knowing your family is in good hands when you can’t bring them along. I have no other responsibilities at the moment with being on no-one else’s scheduled time, so all my time is set to your appointments with my full service and necessary attention undivided. I’m a cuddler to the spoiled fubbies as I understand them completely! I give them loads of love and attention, of course food water, and take them on walks as often as need be alongside whatever other requirements may be necessary for successfully taken care of the fur babies!
“Sarah is the BEST!! I am so thankful to have such a reliable and trustworthy walker. She really cares about Jessie; she goes above and beyond to ensure my dog receives the care and attention she needs. Plus Sarah always sends wonderful updates/pictures. Cannot say enough about how great she is!”

About: We have cared for pups for many years. We lost our two pups in 2022 who we've raised since they were 3 months old. It brings us comfort to know that we gave them rich, fulfilling lives. To honor their memories, we volunteer and foster with the local animal shelter and pet sit when possible. We currently have a 6 year old, 10lb Maltese/Shitzsu name Penny who we adore. She loves playing with other pups! I work at Emory and my wife is currently a stay at home mom to our 2 children. Due to this flexibility, we are able to be afforded a lot of time to care for your pets. We walk 2-3x's daily around the neighborhood (1-2 mile routes) and never double book (unless they're siblings) to ensure that the time we have with your pet is dedicated for them. We have a large, fenced-in yard on a half acre lot so your pet will have plenty of room to stretch their legs and get their wiggles out. We can commit to taking them out to potty every 2-4hrs during the day. We have experience with both crate trained pups and free range pups so long as they are non destructive when left out. We are also comfortable using healthier treats (such as rotisserie chicken) to reinforce good behaviors. We have toys, blankets, a bed, and large metal crate in our home should your pup need them. We typically take 1-2 walks daily, averaging 1-2 miles per walk - so your pet will have ample opportunity to enjoy new sights and smells during their stay with us.
“We really appreciate Anna for consistently being available when we need her. She really is super reliable. I trust her with my dogs and my dogs love it when Anna comes over to hang out with them! I highly recommend Anna!”

I’m open all day everyday whenever u need me. i’m typically home all the time and free whenever needed updates/check ins and always free to answer questions I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do have a run. With pest treated yard so no bugs. Also we have many parks and dog parks that we love to go too

About: Since I can't have a pet of my own right now, I love treating every dog and cat I meet like family. 🐾💕 I absolutely love spending time with animals, and caring for them is one of my favorite things. I have a flexible part-time schedule, so when I'm not practicing volleyball, I'd much rather be hanging out with your furry bestie! Whether it's walks, playtime, or cuddles, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. And of course, you'll get plenty of photo updates because I know you'll miss them! 🤍 I have a very flexible schedule! I train in the mornings on weekdays, so I'm available for drop-in visits before and after practice. My evenings and weekends are generally open, making it easy to accommodate walks, house sitting, and quality time with your pets. I know every pet is different, so I love having detailed instructions! A consistent routine and an organized environment help me provide the best care possible. I'll carefully follow your feeding schedule, walk routine, medication instructions, and any other preferences so your pet feels safe, comfortable, and right at home. I'm happy to care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stick to the routine they know best. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Clarkston
Elisabeth did a phenomenal job walking my dog. I am usually hesitant to hire help because my dog can have some behavioral issues, but Elisabeth made sure he was comfortable and safe on each walk. She went above and beyond to send me daily updates with lots of pictures. Elisabeth is extremely responsible, kind, flexible, and my dog had such a great time with her. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Meghan has been a pleasure to work with and help me with my dogs. I have one rambunctious dog and a giant scaredy cat of a dog. She has worked with both well! Making friends with the scared one and controlling the naughty one. Highly recommend. There is no question she cares about animals and is thinking about their welfare, which is the most important thing in an indivdual you are trusting with your pets.

Andrew was extraordinarily patient and kind with our dogs. My dog Jack is fearful of strangers and a real handful. Andrew was able to handle walking him and our other dog Auggie. We appreciate his willingness to take on the task of taking them on daily walks. Definitely recommend Andrew to care for your fur babies.

Eryn is amazing to my furry kids, Zoe and Luca! Her patience and care helped my initially anxious Zoe warm up quickly, feeling safe and at ease. Both pups romped with joy and thrived under her attentive watch—Eryn’s genuine caring and love shines through. I can’t recommend her enough; she’s my go-to, and I’ll book again soon. Thanks for treating them like your own! 🐶🐶❤️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
