“Kamryn was on time and easy to communicate with. She was very thoughtful and worked with my dog's quirks. She always gave a heads up when she was coming by and when she left. Could not have asked for a better person to take care of my dog!”

“Demi was awesome! She stepped in to walk my elderly father’s dog while he was recovering surgery. She came several times a day for over a week, was reliable, on-time and courteous, and great with our pet of course.”

“Faith was all you could ask for to take care of your pet. She was reliable, professional and caring. She will also ensure that your pet has the best experience. We will definitely use Faith again for our dog walking meeds.”

About: I’m very experienced. I️ have a few dogs of my own, and over a years experience in a veterinary hospital! Dogs are the absolute best thing in my eyes and deserve someone who loves them to take care of them when their parents have to do something without them! I️ have experience with all breeds, aggressive pets, puppies, senior pets, sick pets, even diabetic pets. I can give the pets medicine if needed! I’m a huge dog person as I’ve always grown up with dogs! I’m willing to do whatever the owner wishes me to do, to keep their baby or babies happy and comfortable! If a bath or nail trim is needed I️ can also provide that service! Looking forward to meet you guys! Pet care is all I know. As a veterinary technician for 10 years pets and their well-being are my absolute passion. I don’t work weekends or Tuesdays, but am very flexible for during the week care as well. I will care for your pets the way you request, with the utmost care and genuine love. I will respect the owners demands, and treat the pet as if it were my own

“Highly recommend Ryan! Reliable, communicative, and great with my very large Pyr/Lab mix, Argo, who is not the best at leash walking. Argo was staying with my parents while I was on vacation, but he’s quite difficult for them to walk at their age. Ryan was amazing and took care of daily walks for 2 weeks - handled Argo really well and always gave him the full 30 minutes even in bad weather. The arrangement worked out so well for Argo and for my parents. We’ll definitely use Ryan’s services again!”

About: I have several years of experience caring for pets, including walking dogs, overnight dog sitting, and drop-in cat sitting. I also have a dog of my own, Penny, who is energetic and loves to play! As an active college student studying environmental science, I love spending time outdoors and around animals, and I’d be excited to keep dogs active and happy while providing dependable and attentive pet care! I'm currently a part-time student and have plenty of time for drop-in visits during the morning on weekdays or during weekends. I am very active and have plenty of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds as well as cats of all ages, so I would be happy to look after your pets and give them some love! Visits will vary based on the specific needs of your pet. For dogs, I will give them fresh water, bathroom breaks, and play with them. I am also happy to play in the yard with more energetic dogs! For cats, I will give them fresh water, clean litter boxes, and make sure to give them plenty of attention as well. I am experienced with giving medicine to dogs, so if that is needed I'm happy to do it!
“Our German Shepherd, NellyFurtado, already LOVES her walks with Dana after only two walks. Nelly is thrilled to see Dana when she pulls in the driveway. Dana has an easy-going manner and is really competent at handling our big strong dog. Really happy that Dana is our dog walker!”

About: I’ve had fur babies my entire life. I’ve always loved animals and making sure they’re healthy and happy is a passion for me…! Let’s Connect I do a lot of my work from home and have my schedule pretty comfortable to spend time with fur babies. If I know ahead of time, I can accommodate. I have a nice sized apartment. I now have a backyard! My apartment complex has a large dog park, soccer field, walking trail and there’s even a dog park less than 2 minutes away from my house 🏡 nothing but fun and care here…

“Andrew was extraordinarily patient and kind with our dogs. My dog Jack is fearful of strangers and a real handful. Andrew was able to handle walking him and our other dog Auggie. We appreciate his willingness to take on the task of taking them on daily walks. Definitely recommend Andrew to care for your fur babies.”

About: I have loved dogs since I can remember and I have taken care of dogs since I was in high school. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their 4 leggeds. I’m currently looking for work, I am at the house most days. Pet care is an everyday thing for me because I have a dog of my own. I do not have a fenced yard, however I do love to take my dog for a walk and I would love to take your dog for a walk as well.
About: Both Jessica and Kristen had dogs as kids and we have two dog children now. Jessica has experience caring for senior dogs (dog with low mobility and vision and hearing loss). Jessica works from home, which is ideal for pets that need more frequent potty breaks or walks or that have separation anxiety. Jessica works from home, so she will do much of the pet care during the day. This allows frequent potty breaks and attention for our furry guests! Kristen will help with pet care and drop-ins but goes into work multiple days per week. We have a fenced backyard where the pups can run around and go out for potty breaks. Doggy door option is available so the pups can go out when they want (available based on the preferences of the pet parent). Dogs in our home are welcome in all spaces - including furniture for lots of pets and cuddles! There are even pet stairs so your low riders can access the couch and bed. We also have 2 dogs that will be part of our pet care team! Depending on the needs/preferences of our guests, we have baby gates (e.g., to separate dogs during meals) and an extra crate.
“I’ve been using Chelsea less than a week to help with walking my four-legged best friend. She keeps an open line of communication which I find to be very important. My dog seems to enjoy her walks with her?. I would recommend Chelsea if you’re looking for a dogwalker. Definitely 5 star service.”

About: Animals are my passion. I’ve spent many years caring for and loving on other’s animals as if they were my own. I have experience working in a doggy daycare, and I am currently working as a veterinary assistant! I am comfortable working with all pups and kitties, special needs or not! As I mentioned before, I am working as a full time vet assistant so my hours are slightly limited. I am free to visit your babies on my lunch break or after my shift I am comfortable handling all sorts of pups, varying from the young, spry ones, up and all the way to the sweet older pups who may need some more care.

Jill is an amazingly positive and energetic person, who is loved by both my dog AND my cat (no small feat!). I have truly enjoyed my conversations with her. I trust her completely in my home when I am not around and most importantly, I trust her with the safety and happiness of my Furbabies. THANK YOU SO MUCH JILL.

Charissa is a welcome addition to Rover. She replys to requests very timely and is wonderful with my pet. On her 1st visit my dog had a rare accident and she picked up and cleaned the area so thoroughly...like it never happened. Highly recommend Charissa for any of your Rover needs. A+

Eryn is amazing to my furry kids, Zoe and Luca! Her patience and care helped my initially anxious Zoe warm up quickly, feeling safe and at ease. Both pups romped with joy and thrived under her attentive watch—Eryn’s genuine caring and love shines through. I can’t recommend her enough; she’s my go-to, and I’ll book again soon. Thanks for treating them like your own! 🐶🐶❤️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
