About: It’s corny, but I’m like the animal whisperer. They gravitate towards me. I have 3 of my own pets at home, so I tend to their needs on a daily. I believe it’s important to exude good vibes towards the fur babies and not fear. Give love, and you’ll get love back. Brushing, belly rubs, and massages are my kids’ favorite. I’ve administered oral medicine to my cats and dog. Most people say it’s hard to train cats because of their nature, but that came naturally between myself and my friendly felines. I care for my own 2 cats and a dog every day. They get plenty of time to exercise, eat, and get cuddles. I’m an online student, and I work part-time. I always have time for my babies. They like to help me out with homework & make sure that I take a break. I’ll keep an eye out for your fur kid and give them lots of love and care. If needed, I can give them food and water, according to your instructions. I’ll treat them like my own. Plenty of pictures and videos of your fur baby will be sent your way, when they are in my care.

About: Beginning with my family's pets throughout childhood and adolescence, and continuing on through my work experience at a veterinary clinic and with exotic animal husbandry, my career is centered around providing highly compassionate, detail-oriented animal care. In addition to basic care such as feeding, walking, etc. I have experience with animals with additional needs such as oral, injection, and inhaler administration, subcutaneous fluids, bathing/skin treatments, and caring for senior pets with limited mobility. I hold a Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR certification from the American Red Cross, and am currently a student of an accelerated veterinary assisting program through IGNITE Veterinary Solutions in order to further build on my existing skillset. I take your pet's happiness and well being very seriously, and provide the same care I would want my own to recieve. I am currently working part-time as well as taking online self-paced courses, so I am very flexible to drop in, provide walks, and stay overnight if needed. When I am entrusted to enter a client's home, I follow a policy of leaving it as clean as possible and doing what I can to follow the typical routines your pets might expect, since this is a major component of animal well-being and happiness. I make a point to maintain a calm, nonreactive presence when interacting with your pets in all scenarios, and am happy to take in mail, garbage cans, etc., when necessary.

About: Throughout my life, I've lived with 8 different dogs of all different breeds. Three of those eight were trained by me from puppy to old age. I'm an all around dog lover - I'm definitely the guy you see at a house party or get-together down on the floor playing with the house owner's dog. Due to my inconsistent work schedule, I don't currently have a dog, but I so dearly miss them. When I did have a dog or dogs, I was consistently taking them out for outings in the woods or creek. I love taking dogs out to get exercise on hikes or on a swim. I'd love to get to know your fur-baby! I have an atypical work schedule so I am often off during odd mid-day hours or on the way home during later evening hours. I'd be happy to stop by and take your doggo out for a mid day walk! I occasionally offer doggie boarding - I live in an open apartment with plenty of walkable road and grass areas nearby. I can either crate or let the doggo roam around with me - whatever is best for the individual dog's needs.

I’m currently a full time graduate student, but I have a passion for caring for animals, so I wanted to do something in my spare time related to that. I can visit week nights and most weekends. I think a typical in-home visit would take about 30 minutes to an hour depending on the pet. I like to spend extra time with the animals so they can get to know me. Feeding and potty are pretty straightforward as well as cuddle and play time. I have a pretty large space at my home and can separate animals so I am open to boarding, however, I have to prioritize the health and safety of my current pets so it would only be available in certain circumstances.
