About: I am a lifelong dog lover with a special place in my heart for pitties and other big, lovable pups! I rescued my soul dog, a pittie named Stoney, in 2021 and was lucky enough to have him for 6 amazing years. Caring for him taught me so much about what it means to be a responsible, attentive, and loving dog owner. Unfortunately, Stoney developed bladder cancer towards the end of his life, which gave me additional experience caring for senior dogs with medical needs. While I'm not ready to bring another dog of my own into my life just yet, I really miss having dogs around, which is a big part of why I joined Rover. I am also taking a step back from my professional career, so I have much more flexibility in my daily schedule. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, especially big dogs and bully breeds. I have fostered 3 dogs and taken care of numerous friends' dogs, and I have experience walking dogs who are reactive, pullers, the whole 9 yards. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
