Pet care experience
Super Aunt to your pets!
I have a over 15 years of Pet Care and Animal Care Specialist experience in counting. I have four years of experience working in a Veterinary Hospital. Prior to that, I studied Feline Behavior at the Animal Behavior Institute in North Carolina. I have worked in Kennels, Doggy Daycare, training facilities/ companies and Pet Boarding facilities throughout my pet care experience to present. Recently worked at Life Line Animal Project until May 2024. I am Fear Free certified for shelter animals. I have experience House Sitting multiple pets. I work with all breeds and sizes, with different care needs. I’ve had many pets over the years. I grew up with two dogs and a turtle until the age of 9. I had a German Shepherd, named Murphy and a black Labrador named Sissy. In recent years, I had three guinea pigs, a gerbils farm, four hamsters, two birds, three cats, four dogs, and a rat. I know your pets are going to love working with me. I am very caring and attentive during walks. I pay attention to cues that let me know they need comfort and I love to spoil them! You have been warned. Pets are loyal and give us unconditional love and I feel they deserve the best, at all times. ☺️ When you are requesting me, I always ask for a meet and greet. I want to learn how to best care for your pets and your home. I try to be detailed and thorough during these meetings, so I don’t miss anything. I ask about all pet care routines/ needs and about your home care needs. For example, home security systems, trash, dishes, plant watering, internet, guest food storage and the guest room. I wanna make sure your pets and home are getting the exceptional service they deserve while you are away and everything is safe and protected. If there is ever a need or interest, I am willing to share advice on what I have learned over the years from veterinarians about best practices of pet care, even if it’s just as simple as saying,”talk to your Veterinarian”. 😊

Ratings and reviews
My pup Albie could not have been in better hands. Cynthia was very communicative while I was away, and the house was spotless and everything well taken care of when I got home. For example, she let me know when my dog randomly freaked out about a noise outside and made sure to comfort him and figure out what was going on. She is such a sweet, interesting person— a true animal lover— and I would definitely book her again.

This was our first time using Cynthia. She was a great house/pet sitter — very friendly and responsive. She took great care of my very senior pets and enjoyed taking our dog out on short walks. I had no worries during our time away. She took initiative and folded some sheets we left in our dryer. She left our house in better shape than we left it. We would definitely consider using Cynthia again.

Cynthia was great! Followed instructions, she was on time for the drop-in visits and provided pictures and notes on each visits. Thank you, Cynthia!

Great communication and left my house and pets in perfect condition

Cynthia kept me informed what was going on and sent pictures, however, more detail would have been more appreciated. She seemed conscientious about leaving the house the same as I left it, which was appreciated. She walked the dog regularly (more than she is used to with me), and I'm sure she gave her lots of loving. I appreciate Cynthia's flexibility and concern about doing a good job.
Cynthia was super communicative and a great house sitter with our dog! She was very collaborative with us in how to best handle with our reactive dog.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
My availability is for pets that need a potty break every 4 hours. I am available Monday-Sunday. I am looking forward to meeting your fur-babies and connecting with you family.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I make sure to give walks and give potty breaks depending on the weather and their needs/tolerance. I give them all meds and food as prescribed. We can do playtime indoor or outdoors if they like that. They will always get praise and snuggles from me! I am also protective of them on walks. I make sure that they don’t chase after squirrels or tussle with others dogs. I keep to myself and focus on them getting all their exploration and potty needs met. I also pay attention to their hydration needs, so that they don’t overheat.
A typical day
I change my approach based on the type of fur-babies I care for. If they are “lounging buddies”, then we lounge. If they are very active, we go on long exploring walks. I will find ways to play with them and go on adventures, if they need it. Also, if you have toys, you can leave them out, so we can play in the house on inclement weather days!
