About: I’ve had fur babies my entire life. I’ve always loved animals and making sure they’re healthy and happy is a passion for me…! Let’s Connect I do a lot of my work from home and have my schedule pretty comfortable to spend time with fur babies. If I know ahead of time, I can accommodate. I have a nice sized apartment. I now have a backyard! My apartment complex has a large dog park, soccer field, walking trail and there’s even a dog park less than 2 minutes away from my house 🏡 nothing but fun and care here…
“Andrew updated us every few hours and also listened to our suggestions, which really made me feel comfortable and at ease. Choochoo also seemed to have a great time at his place. We will definitely continue using his service.”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs for 46 years. I currently have Lil' Debbie and Spumoni who make excellent hostesses. I have an excellent record with crate training and know how to adjust care based on a dog's energy level and temperament. I prefer to host small dogs but will consider medium sized on a case by case basis. Since I own dogs, and I am retired, any additions (guests) fit right into my daily plan. Mornings begin with playtime outside for 30 minutes to an hour. Dogs are fed your food according to your schedule. During indoor time, your dog has his/her own area to nap but is free to play with the other dogs on the main level. Dogs also go outside in the afternoon and after meals and for potty breaks. I have a fenced back yard, where dogs can run free and play on 2/3 an acre for thirty minutes to an hour two to three times a day. They will hang out on the main level of the house with Spumoni and Debbie and with the human members of the family. I send pictures and video updates.

About: My husband and I provide a calm, clean, and loving home for dogs who do best in a relaxed, structured environment. We both work from home Tuesday through Friday, so your dog will have plenty of attention, consistency, and care throughout the week. We have over 15 years of experience caring for our own dogs and have also looked after a wide variety of breeds, including doodles, labs, springer spaniels, French bulldogs, terriers, vizslas, GSPs, and mixed breeds. We truly love dogs and treat them like part of the family. We have a 5-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer who is well-socialized and gets along great with other dogs. She can be a little skittish with new people at first, but she loves other dogs and is very comfortable sharing her space. She’s also great at entertaining herself and can play independently when needed. Our home is a great fit for dogs who enjoy both activity and downtime. My husband goes on 3+ mile runs every other day, and we take daily walks around the neighborhood. We’re happy to match your dog’s routine and energy level to make sure they feel comfortable and at home. We’re best suited for well-behaved adult dogs who do well in a calm home environment and can be left alone for a few hours if needed. Our goal is to provide a safe, low-stress stay where your dog feels cared for and relaxed while you’re away. We love being part of the Brookhaven community and enjoy a routine, active lifestyle. My husband and I both work full-time, but together we work from home 4 out of 5 weekdays, which allows us to give dogs a lot of attention, consistency, and care throughout the week. We joined Rover because we genuinely love dogs and know how valuable it is to have your dog stay in a real dog-loving home while you’re away. When we travel, we personally prefer having our dog stay with another dog owner rather than a traditional boarding setup, so we understand how important trust and peace of mind are. We intentionally do not leave dogs alone for long stretches, and our routine includes regular walks, playtime, and plenty of time to relax at home. We ask that you pick up/ drop off between 6am - 8pm We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of space to run and play, and dogs in our home are treated like family. Dogs are welcome on the furniture because we love a cozy, home-like environment, and our own GSP can usually be found curled up under a blanket. We have a 5-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys both playtime and relaxing independently. She is crate trained, and while she now has free range of the house when we leave, we do have a medium sized crate available if your dog is more comfortable with that routine. Our goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re with us.
“Amanda is truly fabulous! This is my first time navigating a puppy and leaving them with a sitter. She sends so many videos and photos, I have so much peace of mind leaving her with my pup. Highly recommend booking with her!”

About: I grew up with a sweet dachshund and have been a dog-lover ever since! Andrew and I both work from home full time, and that makes us the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends. We’ve had experience with both active dogs and those that might need a little more care and patience. We love having a new friend around to keep us company! We both work fully remote jobs and therefore can give your fur-baby all the attention they may need! We always aim to go out at least 4 times a day, but can adhere to your pet’s specific schedule. We offer flexible boarding availability throughout the week and weekends. For any weekend bookings, we do ask that your pet be comfortable being alone for at least a couple of hours since there may be instances where we will be out of the house running errands. While we don’t currently have any pets of our own, our pet-friendly apartment will cater to your furry friend’s comfort. We live on the Beltline making it the perfect setting for long walks or quick potty breaks. We’re more than happy to accommodate your pet’s needs, whether it is crating them or something else.
“Javier and his wife were awesome with Sam. Ot was my first time using Rover and he helped me navigate the app. Sam enjoyed his day and played with Javier’s 2 dogs. He has a great back yard!! Lots of room to run and play”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I got my first experience caring for dogs when I was around 10 years old, and ever since then, I've loved being around animals. Growing up, my family always had dogs, so I learned early on the importance of feeding, walking, exercising, and giving pets the attention and affection they need to thrive. As I got older, friends, family members, and neighbors began trusting me to look after their pets when they were away. Whether it was checking in on a neighbor's cat, taking a dog for a walk, or spending time with a pet that simply needed companionship, I genuinely enjoyed being someone pet owners could rely on. Those experiences allowed me to work with animals of different breeds, sizes, energy levels, and personalities, and they taught me that every pet is unique. One of the things I enjoy most about pet sitting is building trust with animals. Some pets are outgoing and energetic, while others are shy and need a little extra patience. I take the time to learn each pet's routine and personality so they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I understand that being separated from their family can be stressful for some pets, and I do my best to provide consistency, care, and plenty of attention. I know that pets are more than just animals—they are family. That's why I treat every dog and cat as if they were my own. Whether we're going for a walk, playing in the yard, sticking to a feeding schedule, or simply relaxing together, my goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I take pride in being dependable, responsible, and communicative, and I want every pet owner to feel confident that their furry family member is in good hands. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel comfortable by maintaining the routine they are already familiar with. I understand that pets, especially cats, can feel stressed when their owners are away, so I focus on providing a calm, consistent, and caring presence. I follow all feeding schedules and care instructions carefully, make sure fresh water is always available, clean litter boxes regularly, and spend quality time with each pet based on their personality and comfort level. Some cats enjoy playtime and interaction, while others prefer quiet companionship, and I take the time to understand their individual needs. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care and regular check-ins. I also keep pet owners updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind knowing their pets are safe and well cared for. My goal is to treat every pet and home with the same respect, attention, and care that I would provide to my own fami When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I understand that cats thrive on consistency, so I carefully follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter boxes, and make sure they have a safe and stress-free environment. I also spend quality time with each cat based on their personality and comfort level. Some cats enjoy playtime and affection, while others prefer quiet companionship and their own space. I take the time to understand their individual needs and build trust at their pace. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care and reliable check-ins. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident that their pets are happy, healthy, and well cared for while they are away. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and provide the same level of care, patience, and compassion that I would want for my own family members. 🐱❤️
“I’m a travel nurse and have used many different sitters. I admit that I’m pretty picky when it comes to my dogs care. Christine is hands down the best sitter I’ve ever used! She went above and beyond with my dog, and I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. You can tell she really loves these pups like they are her own. I recommend her 1000%.”

“We had a great experience with Josh! His two pups are sweet and well behaved and Cora loved it there! Josh is super attentive and communicative, and it was great to see how comfortable Cora could feel right away running around in their wonderful outdoor space. Thanks Josh!”

“Loved leaving Paris with Michelle! She kept her home clean, ensured the dogs are all up-to-date on vaccines (keeping us all safe) and always kept the pets under her care within a limited number. This assures me that my precious pup gets the attention needed. Thank you for keeping us updated and staying in touch! I’d be happy to recommend Michelle any day!!”

“Michelle took our dog for a trial daycare session to see if he'd be a good fit for a longer dogsitting session. She gave him extra attention and care, but ultimately, being in a setting with multiple dogs was not a good fit for him. We are considering hiring her for house visits instead.”

About: I've been around animals for most of my life and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I grew up with a family dog who came into my life when I was 7 years old, and helping care for him gave me years of hands-on experience with feeding, walks, playtime, and daily companionship. I also have about a year of experience caring for cats, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and spending time with them to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I work a flexible hybrid schedule, so my exact availability shifts day to day, but I'm almost always able to make time for drop-ins, walks, or boarding intakes, even on short notice. I'll confirm timing with you as soon as you reach out so we can find a window that works. The only fixed commitment I have is an evening class on Mondays and Wednesdays, so intakes those nights may need to happen earlier in the day, late that night, or the next morning. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live directly next to a park, providing a convenient and enjoyable place for walks, exercise, and outdoor time. Whether your pet enjoys long walks or simply exploring at their own pace, they'll have easy access to a great environment. When caring for your pet, I'll be home the entire time to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. I know every pet has their own routine, so I'll do my best to follow your instructions closely to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'm also happy to send regular updates and photos throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“My dog is always happy and tired after going to stay with Hope, and very happy to arrive. Hope is very fast to respond to messages and always sends photos. The yard is amazing!”

“Second she has watched my pet and she is so understanding. I was late for pick up and she was ok with it. She sent beautiful photos of my dog throughout the day. She took him on long walks and made sure he potty in between. Even though it’s the second time my dog jumped for joy when to approach my car to grab him. He remembered her from just one visit. Highly recommend for dog sitting”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
