About: I have owned and cared for dogs for 46 years. I currently have Lil' Debbie and Spumoni who make excellent hostesses. I have an excellent record with crate training and know how to adjust care based on a dog's energy level and temperament. I prefer to host small dogs but will consider medium sized on a case by case basis. Since I own dogs, and I am retired, any additions (guests) fit right into my daily plan. Mornings begin with playtime outside for 30 minutes to an hour. Dogs are fed your food according to your schedule. During indoor time, your dog has his/her own area to nap but is free to play with the other dogs on the main level. Dogs also go outside in the afternoon and after meals and for potty breaks. I have a fenced back yard, where dogs can run free and play on 2/3 an acre for thirty minutes to an hour two to three times a day. They will hang out on the main level of the house with Spumoni and Debbie and with the human members of the family. I send pictures and video updates.

About: My husband and I provide a calm, clean, and loving home for dogs who do best in a relaxed, structured environment. We both work from home Tuesday through Friday, so your dog will have plenty of attention, consistency, and care throughout the week. We have over 15 years of experience caring for our own dogs and have also looked after a wide variety of breeds, including doodles, labs, springer spaniels, French bulldogs, terriers, vizslas, GSPs, and mixed breeds. We truly love dogs and treat them like part of the family. We have a 5-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer who is well-socialized and gets along great with other dogs. She can be a little skittish with new people at first, but she loves other dogs and is very comfortable sharing her space. She’s also great at entertaining herself and can play independently when needed. Our home is a great fit for dogs who enjoy both activity and downtime. My husband goes on 3+ mile runs every other day, and we take daily walks around the neighborhood. We’re happy to match your dog’s routine and energy level to make sure they feel comfortable and at home. We’re best suited for well-behaved adult dogs who do well in a calm home environment and can be left alone for a few hours if needed. Our goal is to provide a safe, low-stress stay where your dog feels cared for and relaxed while you’re away. We love being part of the Brookhaven community and enjoy a routine, active lifestyle. My husband and I both work full-time, but together we work from home 4 out of 5 weekdays, which allows us to give dogs a lot of attention, consistency, and care throughout the week. We joined Rover because we genuinely love dogs and know how valuable it is to have your dog stay in a real dog-loving home while you’re away. When we travel, we personally prefer having our dog stay with another dog owner rather than a traditional boarding setup, so we understand how important trust and peace of mind are. We intentionally do not leave dogs alone for long stretches, and our routine includes regular walks, playtime, and plenty of time to relax at home. We ask that you pick up/ drop off between 6am - 8pm We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of space to run and play, and dogs in our home are treated like family. Dogs are welcome on the furniture because we love a cozy, home-like environment, and our own GSP can usually be found curled up under a blanket. We have a 5-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys both playtime and relaxing independently. She is crate trained, and while she now has free range of the house when we leave, we do have a medium sized crate available if your dog is more comfortable with that routine. Our goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re with us.

About: I grew up with a sweet dachshund and have been a dog-lover ever since! Andrew and I both work from home full time, and that makes us the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends. We’ve had experience with both active dogs and those that might need a little more care and patience. We love having a new friend around to keep us company! We both work fully remote jobs and therefore can give your fur-baby all the attention they may need! We always aim to go out at least 4 times a day, but can adhere to your pet’s specific schedule. We offer flexible boarding availability throughout the week and weekends. For any weekend bookings, we do ask that your pet be comfortable being alone for at least a couple of hours since there may be instances where we will be out of the house running errands. While we don’t currently have any pets of our own, our pet-friendly apartment will cater to your furry friend’s comfort. We live on the Beltline making it the perfect setting for long walks or quick potty breaks. We’re more than happy to accommodate your pet’s needs, whether it is crating them or something else.

I grew up with a family dog who came into my life when I was 7 years old, and helping care for him gave me years of hands-on experience with feeding, walks, playtime, and daily companionship. I also have about a year of experience caring for cats, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and spending time with them to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I work a flexible hybrid schedule, so my exact availability shifts day to day, but I'm almost always able to make time for drop-ins, walks, or boarding intakes, even on short notice. I'll confirm timing with you as soon as you reach out so we can find a window that works. The only fixed commitment I have is an evening class on Mondays and Wednesdays, so intakes those nights may need to happen earlier in the day, late that night, or the next morning. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live directly next to a park, providing a convenient and enjoyable place for walks, exercise, and outdoor time. Whether your pet enjoys long walks or simply exploring at their own pace, they'll have easy access to a great environment. When caring for your pet, I'll be home the entire time to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. I know every pet has their own routine, so I'll do my best to follow your instructions closely to help them feel comfortable and secure.
