About: I have had dogs my entire life and don't know what I would do without one! I grew up with poodles, labs and golden retrievers. I now have a Goldendoodle, Fiona, who is the apple of my eye. I got Fiona in early 2020 and trained her myself. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs alike. The poodles I had growing up had special care requirements, so I have experience providing daily medication and watching for certain behaviors. Fiona misses being around other dogs, so we would love the companionship of your fur baby! We would treat your pup like my own and have a blast together! I am lucky to work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I enjoy taking Fiona on daily walks and throwing the ball with her in my neighborhood dog park. Fiona loves people and animals and would enjoy downtime with another fur baby around. I am a bit of a homebody and spend the weekends catching up on shows, reading, and relaxing with Fiona. I take Fiona for long walks and have play time outdoors early in the morning and later in the evening when it has cooled down. I am very cautious of the summer heat as Fiona has thick doodle hair! While I do not have a yard directly out front, my neighborhood has plenty of open fields for walking and a dog park. There is also plenty of playtime in my house! I am experienced with and happy to manage unique feeding and/or medication needs.

She can be a little skittish with new people at first, but she loves other dogs and is very comfortable sharing her space. She’s also great at entertaining herself and can play independently when needed. Our home is a great fit for dogs who enjoy both activity and downtime. My husband goes on 3+ mile runs every other day, and we take daily walks around the neighborhood. We’re happy to match your dog’s routine and energy level to make sure they feel comfortable and at home. We’re best suited for well-behaved adult dogs who do well in a calm home environment and can be left alone for a few hours if needed. Our goal is to provide a safe, low-stress stay where your dog feels cared for and relaxed while you’re away. We love being part of the Brookhaven community and enjoy a routine, active lifestyle. My husband and I both work full-time, but together we work from home 4 out of 5 weekdays, which allows us to give dogs a lot of attention, consistency, and care throughout the week. We joined Rover because we genuinely love dogs and know how valuable it is to have your dog stay in a real dog-loving home while you’re away. When we travel, we personally prefer having our dog stay with another dog owner rather than a traditional boarding setup, so we understand how important trust and peace of mind are. We intentionally do not leave dogs alone for long stretches, and our routine includes regular walks, playtime, and plenty of time to relax at home. We ask that you pick up/ drop off between 6am - 8pm We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of space to run and play, and dogs in our home are treated like family. Dogs are welcome on the furniture because we love a cozy, home-like environment, and our own GSP can usually be found curled up under a blanket. We have a 5-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys both playtime and relaxing independently. She is crate trained, and while she now has free range of the house when we leave, we do have a medium sized crate available if your dog is more comfortable with that routine. Our goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re with us.

About: I have been around pets since the age of one, so I am an avid animal lover. I have cared for the pets of family and friends, including my canine niece and nephew Jolene and Jhett and a shy cat named Leo. By tending to my dog Sasha for 12 wonderful years, I gained experience in administering medications (oral and topical) and palliative care. After her passing, I decided to give back to my community by fostering dogs and volunteering with the Lifeline Animal Project. I work from home, so I am able to provide around-the-clock care for your fur baby. I can give multiple walks throughout the day and adequate play time. Additionally, due to the flexibility of my schedule, I am able to travel to your place to provide walks or care if that is a more desirable option. I reside in a gated apartment complex that has a dog park. I also live very close to Lenox Park and Brookhaven Park that I would be happy to take your pup to. I am in close proximity to a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic. Pets are welcome anywhere inside my home, especially on the couch for cuddles. I can host up to two pets at time, but I will not host another animal during your pet’s stay if that is your preference.
