“I cannot recommend Amanda enough for dog-sitting! Amanda and her daughter are incredibly sweet, and it was immediately clear that my miniature dachshund, Cheeni, felt very, very at home with them. They provided constant updates and sent the most precious videos, which truly melted my heart and kept my worries at bay. Their genuine love for dogs shines through in every interaction. If you want truly caring and warm individuals to look after your beloved pet, Amanda is the one!”

“Amanda is wonderful! Was able to accommodate my last minute request and was very communicative all day. I got tons of photos from her too. She took great care of my baby. Thank you Amanda!”
“Megan was awesome! She took care of my doggo all day while sending me adorable picture updates throughout the day. My boy was very spoiled by her and her husband. And she has the perfect fenced yard setup. I will definitely be using Megan when I need some doggy daycare in the future. :) I highly recommend her services!”

“David was very communicative and kind. He made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with him and his girlfriend for the day. I was very nervous at first since this was my first time leaving her with someone I don’t know, and I feel very satisfied with her stay. I would come back again :)”

“I can't thank Allison enough! She was incredibly reliable and provided exceptional care for my puppy, Cheeni. I always felt at ease knowing Cheeni was in her capable hands, and the frequent updates were so appreciated. highly recommend Allison to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.”

“Second she has watched my pet and she is so understanding. I was late for pick up and she was ok with it. She sent beautiful photos of my dog throughout the day. She took him on long walks and made sure he potty in between. Even though it’s the second time my dog jumped for joy when to approach my car to grab him. He remembered her from just one visit. Highly recommend for dog sitting”

“Chang took excellent care of my senior pup. She was attentive, thoughtful, and truly catered to his individual needs. She made sure he was comfortable, got plenty of time outside, and had adequate rest throughout the day. I had to request a same-day schedule change, and she was incredibly accommodating. Her husky is also an absolute sweetheart, and I’m so glad my dog got to spend the day with both Chadni and her wonderful pup. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

“Saskia was perfect - I am so grateful for how carefully she listen to all of my concerns ahead of time – and her willingness and understanding of tramadol was exactly what we needed. My dog, Gracie, clearly had such a fun time and Saskia not only made sure of this, but also updated me the whole time with great pictures. Would highly recommend!”

“Chad and Soyun are just awesome. They treated our puppy with so much love. We needed a break from our puppy blues, and they just did what we wanted. They kept our puppy separated from other pets as he was not fully vaccinated. And Soyun had Theo by her side all the time. I will definitely go with them every time we need a break.”

“Cheeni had the best time with Leighann and Cali!! Leighann sent us lots of pictures and videos throughout the day and she was just as excited to send them as we were to receive them! If you’re thinking of booking Leighann, just do it without a doubt that she is going to take care of your fur baby just as she takes care of her own dog Cali! And Cali is the sweetest friendliest dog your pup will ever meet! :) Thank you so much for taking such good care of Cheeni! We’re lucky to have found you!”

About: I work from home with a flex schedule. Have loved and cared for animals since I was a teenager, starting with dog walking and pet sitting, and later working for a professional dog-walking company. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. Large or small, I’ve walked them all. I had a Staffordshire Terrier named Frederick for 12 years. I rescued him when he had only 32 minutes left at the shelter, and through him, I gained real experience with leash training, obedience training, patience, structure, and caring for a strong, loving rescue dog. Now that my home is quiet and open, I would love to host your dog and be their Auntie Catherine while you are away. I also offer drop-ins, doggy day care, and walks. I am all about setting pets up for success with care, consistency, patience, and lots of love. If dropping off in the evening, the preferred time is before 7 pm to allow time for a walk and settle in before bedtime. Your dog will get lots of love at Camp Auntie Catherine's! I work from home (in a condo), which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and doggy day care. I’m available during the week and on weekends, depending on your pet’s needs and my calendar. I do my best to keep your pet’s routine consistent, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I live in a condo in a dog-friendly neighborhood with great nearby places for walks, fresh air, and potty breaks. My home is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, with no other pets currently living here, which can be especially helpful for dogs who do best in a quieter space. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, walking style, and comfort needs so I can care for them with patience, structure, and consistency.
“Doug was extremely accommodating with our short notice request and took fantastic care of our treasured pup in a welcoming environment. Multiple walks, pictures and updates. Dingo is awesome too!”

About: Hi, I’m Ali! I’ve been a nurse for 10+ years and I love all animals! I’ve always had pets so I have hands on experience with puppies, senior dogs, cats, and I also acquired some more experience with different temperaments while fostering kittens and pups. I’ve also volunteered at local shelters, so I’m comfortable with pets who may need a little extra patience and love. *Have a dog, cat and young child at home so pets must be okay with all three :) * Quiet cul-de-sac in a safe neighborhood with almost no traffic Just minutes from walking trails and a dog park for fun outings or lots of cuddles. ✨ I’d love to meet your furry friend and make them feel at home while you’re away! I am mostly home so pets fit right into my everyday life. Walks, play breaks, and cuddle time are all part of our daily schedule and I am happy to make reasonable adjustments to the day based on each pets needs. Pets enjoy a safe, fenced backyard and plenty of love and supervision. In client homes, I follow your routines closely—feeding, exercise, and snuggles on schedule—so your pet feels secure and cared for. *Please be sure to let me know prior to booking if you have any special instructions.
About: Anyone that knows me knows how much I love animals in general espiecially dogs. I am always the go to person when a friend needs someone to pet sit or simply come play with their animals. I am big on communication so I am open to last minute bookings. I care for pets as if they are my own. I am kind, knowledgeable, yet open to advice from owners. I care and as the owner you know your dog best. I am also very active with a lot of energy so never fret about dogs that are very excited and active because I have the energy to match. I am organized, responsible, friendly, and excited to meet you and your dog companion. Hope to hear from you! I work from home so my schedule is pretty open for walks and pet sitting. A 2 weeks notice is ideal but I am open to last minute situations because life happens. I have a playful dog that loves making friends. My living room is his play domain and my apartment complex comes with a dog park as well as plenty of room for walks.

About: I’ve been a happy pet owner for four years now. My dog and I enjoy long walks, park visits, and sofa time. Your pet will feel right at home! I work from home and pet care integrates perfectly into my daily routine. Potty breaks and walks around the clock are easy to schedule in! My dog Oliver will be happy to keep any other pet company! We have a fenced in dog park available as well as a safe and quiet neighborhood to take walks.
“This was Missy's first time with Kristina. We were kept posted on how Missy was fitting in, and she sent reassuring pictures. We look forward to using Kristina's services in the future and have, in fact, already booked a more extensive stay. It went well; we were very pleased with Kristina.”

“Kerry and Ashley are great hosts for our dog Cami! She absolutely loves there dog Scooby and other pups that are around. Always look forward to the photos they are able to capture from the day!!”

About: Dog owner and lifelong dog lover here! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have a pup of my own — her name is Pumpkin, and she’s my whole heart! She loves to run outside, play, and snuggle every night. I truly believe pets are like little angels sent to help us navigate this crazy world. Every dog deserves to be met with kindness, patience, and joy — that’s the energy I bring to every stay. I’m not afraid to get on the floor and play, go for long walks, or keep them mentally engaged with enrichment and a few fun tricks. A mentally and physically challenged dog is a happy (and tired!) one! I also understand that each dog has their own personality and needs. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away — and to make sure you can truly relax knowing they’re in good hands. I work full time at a fitness studio, so I’m out and about during the day, but I’m never gone for more than 8 hours. My workday sometimes starts as early as 4 AM — but that just gives me more time in the afternoons for extra playtime and walks, and maybe an extra snack or two 😄 I prefer evening drop-offs — it gives your dog a little extra time to settle into a new environment and get to know me and Pumpkin better. My goal is to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy while they’re with me, and I’ve found this really helps them adjust. That said, I’m happy to chat if another time works better for you and your pup, but I do ask that you be considerate of my schedule and your dog’s adjustment needs. My calendar tends to fill up quickly, so I accept bookings on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you confirm on your end, your spot is locked in — until then, my calendar is open to others. I encourage confirming early and scheduling our meet-and-greet quickly if you’re a first-time client. I promise we’ll have plenty of fun — walks, playtime, snuggles, and maybe even learn a new trick or two along the way! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities! I take every precaution to make sure their time with us is fun, stress-free, and secure. We go on multiple walks a day along a beautiful shaded trail near my home. Let me know if your pup likes the park — Pumpkin is very social, and we love visiting the nearby dog park weekly. If you’re okay with this, we might even go on a little field trip! 🐶 I also make sure all introductions are slow and positive so every dog feels comfortable. Pumpkin does a great job of welcoming new friends to our home and gets along with dogs of all sizes and breeds, so if your dog is nervous or anxious, I’m confident she’ll help them come out of their shell! Please remember to provide a working leash and harness so I can feel confident that we won’t have any escapee artists on our hands 😝 For the safety of all dogs in my home, I ask that your dog is fully crate trained and that you provide a crate during the stay. This gives your dog a safe space in a new environment, helps them feel secure, sets boundaries when needed, and keeps everyone’s sanity intact 😄 It also gives me peace of mind knowing nothing can happen while I’m away — you wouldn’t leave a baby unattended at home, and I don’t intend to leave your fur baby that way either. After taking some time to see how your dog settles in, I may choose not to use the crate, but that will only happen once I’m confident they’re comfortable and trusting in their new environment. Thank you for understanding! To keep everyone healthy and safe, I also require that all dogs staying with me are up to date on vaccinations and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention — Pumpkin’s always up to date, too! It’s the best way to make sure every pup has a fun and worry-free stay (and no uninvited flea guests 😆) Above all, I’m committed to building trust with both you and your pup. I take the time to get to know their personality, needs, and preferences so they feel happy, confident, and loved while staying with me.

About: I have had my own dog for 12 years! I love having pups over and he loves friends. I work from home and take great care of the babies: consistent food, water, tons of soft chewy toys, multiple walks a day, and lots of playing! As long as your pup is friendly and gets along with others, they’re more than welcome! I work from home and have my own dog. He loves friends and company. My dog is not neutered and is 12 years old. He is very loving and friendly. I believe in making the dogs feel comfortable and at ease. We will go out multiple 3+ times a day, walks around the neighborhood, food and water always available, tons of soft chewy toys. I allow the pups on the couch. They’ll be taken care of, always considered, and loved on always.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dunwoody
Amanda is an amazing sitter. Milo started daycare with a little while ago. She goes above and beyond to make sure your dog is cared for. She literally makes the time to take the pups for walks in small groups. In my experience, most doggy daycares don’t walk the dogs at all. They typically put the dogs in a yard or home and let them play. I was impressed that Amanda actually walked them. She cares for Milo like he’s her own. She’s really a gem of a human. Milo and I thank you ♥️🐶

The sitters are very friendly and had plenty of indoor and outdoor space for both play and alone time. My pup was all worn out when I picked him up from daycare, so it seems he had a blast! If your pup is friendly with other dogs, I definitely recommend bringing them here

Melissa was a great communicator, she sent texts messages ,videos & photos of our Jax looking very happy! Jax loved running in her big yard! I’m so happy that Jax was well taken care of. We definitely recommend Melissa and look forward in having her care for Jax in the future:)

I’ve booked with Eleana multiple times now, and every experience has been excellent. She is reliable, communicative, and treats my dog with so much care. My dog always comes home happy and relaxed, which tells me everything I need to know. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
