About: Kobe, my shihtzu of 10 years, survived with a heart murmur before heart failure kicked in. I spent 6 years giving him medication and a decade fighting him to let me brush his hair and clean his paws after walks. He taught me patience and proper animal grooming! I do have a full time job and my off days vary however, I’m usually available before 3pm on most days for pet sitting & walks as well as drop in visits. Feel free to message me and we can work something out as well! I unfortunately cannot care for pets at my home due to the kids I live with, but I am open to pet sitting in your home. About: I have been around pets my entire life specifically cats and dogs. Family and friends have trusted me to take care of their fur babies whether that meant feeding, walking, bathing, etc and I was more than happy to do it. Although this is a part time job for me I make it a priority because it is something that brings joy to my days and it means being helpful and bringing joy to a pets day as well! Any pet that I am around will be safe and taken care of 110%. I will keep an eye on them constantly, provide them with fun, care, and spend quality time with them in areas that I know they feel most comfortable in. I recently started a new job however I will have some afternoon and morning availability during the week and most weekends I will be free. Victoria was AMAZING!! We were gone for 10 days and a little nervous to leave our pup with a new sitter, but Victoria was phenomenal!! She was so informative and sent lots of pictures. Our dog loved her and was so well taken care of and loved. She left our house spotless and nicer than it was when she arrived! She was the best!
We had never left our senior dog with anyone except family, so I was very nervous using Rover. Trent did a great job with Ginger, getting her outside to potty and getting her to take her meds and eat her food. We will definitely use Trent again if we need someone to watch our sweet old lady!
My husband & I have booked Girishma (G) multiple times and at this point she is our preferred sitter/walker, as in there is no one else we're looking to book! That should explain how wonderful she is at what she does but in case it doesn't please keep reading. Our two pups are not quite ‘pups’ any more and are actually over the age of 10. They move a bit slower nowadays and have some issues we keep a close watch on. Having them wth G is just about the same as them being with us. This is the type of care and attention she applies to dogs that are in her trusted care - she ensure every direction was followed exactly as we outlined and even sought to go above and beyond for their comfort, and ours. We’ve often dropped our dogs off at boarding facilities previously and received many pictures of them active and happy. This is great, but G’s updates showed us the realistic range of our dog’s temperament, especially at their age. There were playful photos but also many where they were relaxed and comfortable. We never had to guess if they were getting enough rest, being overexerted, or if they’d had a chance to hang out at the park or play for the day. She quickly learned our dogs personalities and adapted her care to them. In emergencies, G makes her best effort to accommodate in impossible situations. No-one ever travels across open water wishing to get stuck in the country they’re in—it’s never happened to us previously, but did happen while they were in G’s care. She made every best effort to continue to care for our dogs and give us a realistic solution until we could figure out alternative arrangements and return home. Having never been in that predicament, we continue to be incredibly grateful for G’s pragmatism and genuine heart for what she does…which brings me to who she is. Even in the few months that we’ve gotten to know her, we can attest to her genuine love and enjoyment for dogs. For her, it’s more than just another booking, she takes care of your dogs (whether it’s a walk or longer booking) as if they are her own. I don’t know any dog owner who drops their dog off and doesn’t hope they’ll receive the same love and attention that they would from you if you could be there. [For the humans that’ll interact with G lol] Overall, G is kind, considerate, and also incredibly friendly which makes checkin/checkout and overall communication with her a breeze. If you’re looking for someone that doesn’t just have “availability” but is also the type of person who you can trust to care for your dog in your absence, Girishma is your person.
My pup Albie could not have been in better hands. Cynthia was very communicative while I was away, and the house was spotless and everything well taken care of when I got home. For example, she let me know when my dog randomly freaked out about a noise outside and made sure to comfort him and figure out what was going on. She is such a sweet, interesting person— a true animal lover— and I would definitely book her again.
Kailee did a fantastic job with in home dog sitting for my 3 dogs. I have a difficult young Belgian Shepherd that is scared of people. Kailee worked with her and had no problems dealing with her. She also had to handle the 4th of July fireworks and big storms with all the dogs and handled it like a pro. The house was clean and she watered the plants.
Naomi was amazing! She cared for our 2 boys, Lucca and Luther, like they were her own! She had incredible patience with Luther, our 1 year old boxer who is high energy, and showed both our dogs lots of love and attention. We were gone for a full week, and returned to our house and our puppies in perfect condition! She sent daily pictures, and videos and updated us on everything our pups were doing.
