Please let me know ahead of time if your pet needs medication, has specific dietary restrictions, is reactive on walks, has separation anxiety, etc. It's also important for me to know if your pet is up to date on vaccinations and flea medications.
A typical day
I believe it's best to follow whatever routine your pet is accustomed to, so as long as you fill me in on those details, I will stick to it. If they need multiple walks a day, eat at specific times, take medication with meals, or are simply used to having a human around most of the time, I'm happy to provide for their needs. And of course, every pet will receive plenty of love and cuddles (as long as they're into that).

Pet care experience
I'm that person at the party that's busy socializing with the pets rather than the people. While I don't have a pet of my own at the moment, I grew up with multiple dogs, cats and numerous generations of gerbils. Over the years I've had opportunities to pet sit for friends and family, however, now that I work from home, this past year has been filled with a lot of wonderful cat-sitting for friends, including drop-in visits and boarding cats at my place for a week or more at a time. While I'm a quiet person and cats seem to gravitate towards me, I love dogs too, and I think they feel the same about me :). I know what it's like to be away from home and missing your furry friend(s), so I'm honored to be there to love on and care for your pets when you're not able to.

Emily was great to work with. Great in communicating and letting us know how our kitty was doing during our trip. Will definitely inquire about Emily’s availability the next time we head out of town!
Emily was great as always! Always on time and was able to help us out on a short notice! Definitely my first call when I need a rover!
We are always able to actually relax and enjoy our time away when Emily is with our pup! She is consistent with updates/pictures and we always come home to a clean, well taken care of home. We will always plan to ask for Emily when we need to travel!
