“Aaliyah took great care of our two dogs and home while we were away. She stayed communication with us the entire time and was very easy to work with. We will definitely use her again.”

“Gabriyela was prompt, professional, and very patient with our senior pups. We came back to a spotless house and happy dogs. We are so appreciative of the care and service she provided!”

“We love Ilona! She’s just so easy to work with and her communication was top tier. She sent plenty of updates and I felt so comfortable knowing Puma was with her while I was away.”

“Savannah is an absolute gem! She recently took care of our 3 pups and our home while we spent a week at the beach, and she went above and beyond! She made sure we were updated on how the pups were doing and actively looked for ways to help us around our home to make our return so much easier. Our pups were so happy when we came home, we could tell they received so much TLC. Highly recommend!”

“So glad we found Stacy. Stacy stayed with our two boys for a long weekend and everything was wonderful. Boys were happy, well loved and cared for. We've already booked her for our next trip and will plan on even more! Thanks Stacy.”
“Jordan was a great dog sitter. Our dog felt really comfortable with her and snuggled with her the whole time. Jordan sent lots of pics, kept the house tidy, and was very responsive to texts. We’ll definitely hire her again.”

“Booked with very short notice and Ashley was so kind to accommodate us. We were completely blown away by her true professionalism- most notably how she cared for our dog, Kiwi, who recently lost her bestie of 11 years and has been so depressed and lonely. We immediately recognized a difference in Kiwi, she is playing with toys again and has come back to her silly self. Ashley also went above and beyond cleaning our house and making sure that we came home and didn’t have to worry about anything at all. She also demonstrated excellent flexibility and communication most notably by dealing with our contractors who showed up unexpectedly to do work in the house. We are grateful to have Ashley and will absolutely be working with her going forward.”

“Sara did a wonderful job taking care of our Willow and house! With Willow being reactive, she was kind enough to come for 2 meet and greets for her to get comfortable and was so patient. Definitely recommend and will be booking in the future!”

About: A pup in my care is treated like my own. I typically will take them out and about such as the trail near my home, lots of loving and stern understanding through our time together. I work from home so I have all the time in the world to walk the pup every two hours, feedings through the day and scratches behind the ear often. I live alone with a fenced in backyard with cameras in and outside my home. The pup is allowed on the couch and bed. Your pup will be comfortable in a smokeless home.
“Cynthia was the best ever. Not a single complaint to give, only praise. She was honest, charming, great communication, a real gem. I hope to be able to book her again soon.”

About: Hi! I’m a full-time ultrasound student based in Atlanta/Metro-Atlanta looking to do some house sitting or pet care during the breaks! I love animals and have experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’m reliable, respectful of your space, and happy to keep you updated while you’re away! I’m currently in college full time so I am available everyday! During the weekends, I will be available in the morning and evening as well :) I prioritize the instructions for feeding, medications, and special needs. I ensure they have fresh water, clean bedding, and provide regular exercise and playtime. I keep their living space tidy, offer plenty of affection, and treat them as if they were my own!
“Jill was amazing! She took such great care of our home and our doodle, Gumbo. He absolutely loved her! She kept us updated with photos and messages, and we could tell he was happy and well cared for. We came home to a clean house and a very content pup. Highly recommend Jill — we’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Christina is an awesome and trustworthy dog sitter for our 2 playful Labs. The dogs had a great time with her playing fetch and I get daily updates which I appreciate. While mid-air and with spotty WiFi connection on the plane a problem with our sewage tank happened. Christina did what she could to prevent any water damage or any damage in the house. Truly appreciated her effort which is above and beyond! Thank you Christina! You’ll surely be hearing from us again.”

“Emily was a great help taking care of our fur babies during the July 4th holiday. The dogs loved her and she left the guest room and bathroom nice and clean. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Ashely was great! She was took great care of our girl and sent me updates and pictures. She even took her out for an outing and a car ride. I highly recommend Ashley!”

“Sidney is great; she connected immediately with Nala and took excellent care of her. We had daily updates, and overall, we were relieved to know Nala was in good hands. We'll rebook with her for sure!”

“Fallin did a fantastic job watching our two dogs. They were very well taken care of were super happy to see us when we got home. She also took excellent care of our house as well. We would definitely rebook Fallin the future to watch the pups! She was a terrific sitter.”
About: It’s corny, but I’m like the animal whisperer. They gravitate towards me. I have 3 of my own pets at home, so I tend to their needs on a daily. I believe it’s important to exude good vibes towards the fur babies and not fear. Give love, and you’ll get love back. Brushing, belly rubs, and massages are my kids’ favorite. I’ve administered oral medicine to my cats and dog. Most people say it’s hard to train cats because of their nature, but that came naturally between myself and my friendly felines. I care for my own 2 cats and a dog every day. They get plenty of time to exercise, eat, and get cuddles. I’m an online student, and I work part-time. I always have time for my babies. They like to help me out with homework & make sure that I take a break. I’ll keep an eye out for your fur kid and give them lots of love and care. If needed, I can give them food and water, according to your instructions. I’ll treat them like my own. Plenty of pictures and videos of your fur baby will be sent your way, when they are in my care.

Aaliyah is the best pet sitter I’ve ever had! She goes above and beyond to make sure your fur babies are loved and well cared for. My kitties both got sick right before I went out of town, so they needed meds and frequent check-ins rather than just regular care. Aaliyah made sure they had everything they needed and more. I’m so grateful and highly recommend her!

Sidney did a wonderful job watching our boys. She was communicative, responsive and showed endless amounts of love to the pups that came through in all of the pictures and videos she sent. She took great care of the home while we were away and we would absolutely book her again to house sit for us.

Kaleigh was great with my puppy Phoebe! My pup seemed to really like her and Kaleigh was there to keep her company all day which I really appreciated! She sent me updates throughout the day and I came home to a happy pup! All I can ask for and more. Thank you again!

Chelsie is amazing! Super communicative and took care of my baby Phoebe. She took her for a walk while she was house sitting , made sure she was happy all day, and left the house clean! Also was understanding of a last min change I had to make which I greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything Chelsie!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Norcross walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Norcross maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Norcross choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Norcross. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
