“She was super great! Thankfully she was available for a last minute booking which I am so thankful for. The animals seemed to love her and she took some of the best photos!”
About: I am observant on what the pet needs or wants and will try my best to give them the care and attention they want. I love playing with them and finding out their individual quirks. I'm usually free on Sundays but I can dogsit most nights during the weekday. I'm open to commuting to and from work to the client's house. I make sure that the pets are fed, that they have access to water, they go on frequent walks, and that they are played with.
“I want to thank Hailey so much for dropping in on my dog last min for two days while I left for a last min trip. She came on time, very professional and sweet. She walked my dog and feed him. Even cleaned up his mess from him ripping up his bed. Definitely would book again with her.”

“I was extremely happy with Sitong's care for my cats. He accepted my late request, including coming by my home for a short notice meet and greet. My cats appeared very comfortable around him and his wife, I was very pleased with the care and the many pictures sent during each trip that assured me my cats were in good hands! I would definitely book Sitong again!”

“ina was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Percy! She provided fantastic updates and consistent communication throughout her entire time sitting, which gave me total peace of mind. Tina is incredibly reliable, punctual, and attentive. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I will absolutely be hiring her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stellar pet sitter!”

About: A pup in my care is treated like my own. I typically will take them out and about such as the trail near my home, lots of loving and stern understanding through our time together. I work from home so I have all the time in the world to walk the pup every two hours, feedings through the day and scratches behind the ear often. I live alone with a fenced in backyard with cameras in and outside my home. The pup is allowed on the couch and bed. Your pup will be comfortable in a smokeless home.
“Kaytee provided excellent pet sitting service. She was responsible, punctual, and took great care of my cat and dog. She followed all the instructions we provided, ensuring a stress-free experience for us and our pets. Highly recommend!”

“Madison is a joy to have watch our cats, she was communicative and proactive when it came to their care and her schedule. I never worried while I was away and knew they were in good hands!”

“I had never used Rover before, but this experience completely exceeded my expectations. Lauren was absolutely amazing with my dogs — they clearly loved her and felt comfortable right away. I also really appreciated all the photo and video updates she sent, which made me feel so reassured while I was away. Knowing that Lauren is a dog parent herself made it even easier to trust that my pups were in great hands. The whole experience felt safe, professional, and genuinely caring. I will definitely be rebooking with Lauren in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing sitter! Can’t say enough good things about Kaleigh. She took care of our 5 cats and 2 dogs and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very professionally and communicative. I would used again in a heartbeat. A+++++++”
About: I’m pretty active, so if you have a high-energy dog, I love running around, playing tag in the backyard, and tug-of-war (until I win 😌—gotta build my noodle arm strength somehow). I also have a 16-year-old Yorkie Terrier, so I’m very used to frequent potty breaks, gentle encouragement with eating and drinking, and being attentive to mood or behavior changes. He’s bed bound now and still friendly. He just has arthritis. I understand that your pet isn’t just a pet—they’re your baby. That’s exactly how I treat my own, and I’ll care for yours with the same love, patience, and respect. For added convenience, I also offer pickup and drop-off services if needed—just let me know and we can coordinate what works best for you! I’m currently a full time student online so pet care is an excuse to remain active and get out the house. I’m in charge of my own schedule and pretty flexible of my week. I have a fenced house for your pet to play around in. I do have a 14 year old terrier dog - he’s not aggressive he probably won’t play or run with your dog but he will slowly walk (or try to catch up) beside your dog in my backyard. I am able to crate your pet if needed as well. Whether it be my house or your house for the service I will keep you updated of your pet actives (food/ play/ sleep times) and a picture/day for you,

I am more than willing to work with you to meet any and all needs you have for your furry four legged family member I have a large home with plenty of room for your family member. I have a super friendly dog at home who has never met a stranger if yours like to play I am sure she would love to play with them. I also have plenty of room for your dog to have their own space if need be. Dogs have the runoff the house on my home but can be crated if need be. We love to go for long walks and get plenty of exercise doing all sorts of fun ativities
About: I have had my schnauzer for about 10 years and it has been my best experience. I have learned to be responsible and patient while also been active and adventurous. Dogs are really unique and I think they are a gift from god to us. I am a college student in Georgia tech I’m just trying to make a little bit of extra money because the job market is not so good as of lately but confident in providing the best quality of work. I provide a safe, loving environment with constant supervision. Trustworthy, experienced, and dependable I treat every dog like family and ensure their comfort in your home or mine.

Tina did such an amazing job with my two cats! From the beginning she was very quick and reliable to communicate with so booking with all of my special instructions about apartment quirks was a breeze. My cats seemed to warm up to her right away and she took plenty of photos and videos that helped me miss them less. I’m so grateful for all of the playtime they got. I’d definitely rebook!

It was a truly wonderful experience! While we were away, she took such good care of Bell. She followed all of our instructions to a T. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Bell and treated her as if she were her own pet. She was kind, professional, and trustworthy, and she went above and beyond our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. We would confidently recommend her to anyone, and we’ll definitely be hiring her again. Thank you so much!

We're so lucky to have found Jackie and that she happens to be available when we need her! Her updates are great, she remembers all the needs and quirks of all of our cats, and she's so patient when they do embarrassing things (like barf in the litter box). Thanks for taking care of them again!

Jin truly came through for us in such a stressful moment. We reached out last minute due to a family emergency during a holiday week, and she was incredibly responsive and flexible. She took amazing care of our dog, sent updates, and made us feel so secure while we were gone. Most importantly, our dog loved her! We are beyond thankful and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Lilli is the BEST pet sitter!!! We were out of town for almost 3 weeks. We needed someone to come tour house to feed/walk/play with our lab in the mornings. She was AMAZING!! She sent pictures and updates! She was even available last minute to stop by to let him out when our son needed to work late. I am so grateful we found her!! 1000% recommend her and book her again! THANKS LILI!!!!

This was my first time using the Rover app after adopting my 3 month old puppy Riot! I was uneasy about the whole process but I am so glad I ran into Genesis' profile! She was punctual and professional every step of the way! Her communication skills made me feel comfortable each time! She even brought in my packages that were left on my doorstep! She was also super patient and understanding with how to care for my young pup and it honestly brought so much relief to my week in caring for him. I highly recommend using Genesis and I will absolutely be looking forward to booking with her again! ❤️ Cristen and Riot!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
