About: I have pets of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your animals. I love animals deeply and have previous experience pet sitting, providing attentive, patient, and loving care. I’m a full time college student but I only have in person classes twice a week so I have a little extra time to stop by or sit with pets for an extended amount of time on certain days I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in both my home and my clients’ homes. I follow care instructions closely, maintain clean spaces, and create a calm, loving environment where pets feel secure and respected.

About: Hi! I have fallen in love with volunteering at the CAC shelter the past months and want to spend more time with animals 🐾 I grew up with family dogs (yorkie, maltipoo, & husky) but I currently have a mischievous tuxedo cat! I currently work remotely so as long as there’s wifi I’m good to go for weekdays and weekends! I also can take pets out or play during my breaks. I will follow any instructions given about food, walks, cat quirks, or however you want me to care for your pet. Whatever makes you and them most comfortable!
About: Hi There! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I'm able to drop by for a walk or visit on short notice. I currently own two super cute pups: Baxter (Pembroke Welsh Corgi) and Ferdinand (Husky mix.) I'd like to think they are twins, like Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger were in the beloved 80's comedy movie. I've had many other dogs in my life of all sizes. My dogs also have a lot of attitude. They're reactive and feisty. And my corgi is 15 years old. If you have a feisty pup or senior pup, never fear :) I've got you. As someone who's hired dogsitters to take care of my own, I understand the need for clear communication. (I have more separation anxiety than my dogs do.) I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is being taken good care of and given lots of love. I'll send as many updates as you'd like along with pics. I know how good it feels to get home and see your dog in a happy and healthy mood. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I can visit on short notice without issue. I live in Doraville and have a car, so I can commute easily to you. I've been caring for dogs and babysitting them for friends since I was a kid. I will respect your home and make sure that your pups are safe and sound. (And your furniture too.)
About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs my whole life from puppies to senior dogs. I also have been a cat owner for 4 years now. I work remotely and have some flexibility during the week and weekends. Will be starting grad school in the summer and will have even more flexibility for all your pet needs! I am pretty Type A when it comes to pet safety due to my own love for animals and the pride I take in being a pet owner. I would be able to offer a puppy proof environment, clean water and supervised feeding (if needed), supervision, stimulation, etc. I know the warning signs for any type of distress and would feel comfortable addressing as needed.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 3 years and am a dedicated dog mom to my 3 year old French bulldog, Kree. She’s very playful, well-socialized, and gets along great with other dogs, so I’m very familiar with maintaining a safe and fun environment for pets with different personalities. I live an active lifestyle and make sure dogs in my care get daily exercise, attention, and lots of love. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company throughout the day, I treat every pet like my own. I work from home, so I’m able to be very attentive and present. I also understand that every pet has unique needs, whether that’s crate training, specific routines, or extra patience and I’m happy to follow your preferences to make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, drop-in visits, doggy day care, and walks during both weekdays and weekends. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m also happy to coordinate walks or visits based on your pet’s routine. I’d like to bring my dog along for walks for socialization and exercise, as long as your pet is comfortable with that. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in an apartment but have a clean, pet-friendly environment and a balcony potty station available for quick breaks. I also make sure dogs get regular walks and exercise daily. I have a crate-trained dog, and for safety and structure, I do require that dogs staying with me are comfortable being crated at night. However, I always follow owner preferences when it comes to routines, feeding, and care. Since I do have a dog in my home and occasionally care for multiple dogs at a time, it’s important that your pet is friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I carefully monitor all interactions to ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone. For the health and safety of all pets in my care, I do require that dogs are up to date on vaccinations (including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella) and are on flea/tick prevention. Please let me know if you have any questions about this—I’m happy to chat! I understand trusting someone new with your pet can feel like a big step, but I will treat your pet with the same love, care, and attention I give my own.
“Sarah was fantastic! She did twice-daily drop-in visits for my three cats while I was out of the country for two weeks, including giving one of them medication twice a day. She communicated daily with updates and photos, which really put me at ease. I came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and a tidy space. I felt very comfortable with her and would definitely book again. Highly recommend!”

About: I am observant on what the pet needs or wants and will try my best to give them the care and attention they want. I love playing with them and finding out their individual quirks. I'm usually free on Sundays but I can dogsit most nights during the weekday. I'm open to commuting to and from work to the client's house. I make sure that the pets are fed, that they have access to water, they go on frequent walks, and that they are played with.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Doraville
Faith did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were out of town!! They both really liked her during the meet and greet but our scaredy cat was super shy each time she came to visit, hanging out in his favorite spot under/behind the couch. Faith still figured out a way to get his pills to him to take even with him being so shy. I could tell our other cat really enjoyed Faith’s visits and attention and looked super happy and cozy in all the pics.

Wonderful sitter! I highly recommend her to watch your pets :). She was the most communicative and thorough sitter I’ve ever had. She took excellent care of my cat and did a great job giving him his medicine. It made me feel very secure and at peace knowing that my cat was being cared for so well while I was on a trip. Thank you so much for the excellent service!

Here are some of the reasons I would definitely hire Rachel every time I’m out of town… 1. She was punctual every day 2. She was consistent and thorough 3. She is very caring and loving toward my kitties 4. She is considerate 5. She sent pictures every day 6. She kept me informed about all details of each visit This is the first time I’ve ever used a pet sitting service. I am thrilled to have found Rachel! I highly recommend her!

Kezia took care of my kitties better than my own mother! She accepted a last minute Memorial Day weekend booking after my sitter fell through. The boys were in. Edu good spirits by the time we came home. I’m so grateful for her and the way she loved on my babies like they were her own!

Nethra was amazing! I needed someone last minute, and she responded very quickly and was incredibly helpful. She was so sweet with my cat during her drop-in visits and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I’ll definitely rebook with nethra again!

Victoria is a complete professional and knows everything there is to know about cat care! She’s consistently been an above and beyond communicator and care taker for our 4 cats with complex needs, and we’ve also learned a lot from her about how to care for them. We’ve recently been out of town for an extended period due to a family emergency and knowing that she is taking care of the cats gives us complete peace of mind.

I had such a great experience with my dog sitter! She did drop-in visits for both of my dogs and handled them so well. From the start, she was incredibly sweet and professional. We did a meet and greet beforehand, which gave her the chance to connect with my dogs and make sure it was a good fit—and it definitely was. While I was away, she kept me at ease with consistent communication, updates, and lots of pictures. It really reassured me that my dogs were happy and well taken care of. She even went above and beyond by helping with a few extra tasks around the house while I wasn’t home, which I truly appreciated. I could tell my dogs were in great hands the entire time. She was attentive, reliable, and genuinely caring. I’m happy that I found her because she will now be my dog sitter moving forward. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!

- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
