Knowing any medical or special needs prior to meeting. Having awareness of any personality quirks or behaviors that may need to be worked through during the time I care for them. Habits the pets have, treats they enjoy, any allergies, toys they love, where they like to sleep, etc. Emergency contacts are also essential while pet parents' travel.
A typical day
Depending on the dog's needs and age, we can have fun in several ways....Interactive toys, play time outside (including toys or exploring), walks in the neighborhood, cuddle time, teaching tricks, and treat motivated tasks.

Pet care experience
My history with animals includes pet sitting for over 24 years, working as a vet tech for several years, and having my heart owned by many dogs and cats. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes, health concerns and those that need extra time and patience. I have a soft spot for the senior pets, any with medical needs, and those with personality quirks. I have references for dog only homes, cat only homes or a combo of both. I've been blessed to watch some of my client's animals for nearly 20 years!
