“Brooke is an excellent dog sitter. She has sat for me on numerous occasions and her service is always so professional. She kept me updated about Misty at each visit. So thankful we found her. S. Davis”

“Trent did an excellent job with our dogs! He is reliable, caring, and punctual. He took the time to sit with our dogs, sent detailed updates, and allowed us to be away with confidence that our pups were taken care of. We highly recommend Trent!”

About: I've been around animals for most of my life and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I grew up with a family dog who came into my life when I was 7 years old, and helping care for him gave me years of hands-on experience with feeding, walks, playtime, and daily companionship. I also have about a year of experience caring for cats, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and spending time with them to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I work a flexible hybrid schedule, so my exact availability shifts day to day, but I'm almost always able to make time for drop-ins, walks, or boarding intakes, even on short notice. I'll confirm timing with you as soon as you reach out so we can find a window that works. The only fixed commitment I have is an evening class on Mondays and Wednesdays, so intakes those nights may need to happen earlier in the day, late that night, or the next morning. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live directly next to a park, providing a convenient and enjoyable place for walks, exercise, and outdoor time. Whether your pet enjoys long walks or simply exploring at their own pace, they'll have easy access to a great environment. When caring for your pet, I'll be home the entire time to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. I know every pet has their own routine, so I'll do my best to follow your instructions closely to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'm also happy to send regular updates and photos throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Brianna was the best and gave our kitty so much love and playtime while we were away. She was a great communicator and really went the extra mile to send pictures and updates of our little guy every day. Will be using her again for sure!”

“Erica took such great care of my senior kitty while I was away. She spent lots of quality time with her and even (somehow magically) got her to take her medicine with a Churro. Her visits were on time and included a brief note and pictures. I'll definitely use her again.”

“Nora did an amazing job with both of my cats while we were out of town!! She made sure that they had everything they needed and always sent pictures and updates about her trip! So grateful to have someone I can trust with my kitties.”

“Ashley & Kevin are easy to work with, have super positive and caring pet/animal energy, and were always on time, got great photos of the pups and showed our kids a lot of love. Highly recommend (just don’t book them when we need them 😂)!”

“Terry took fabulous care of our cat for over a week while we travelled. She watered our house plants and contacted us with a potential issues in our home, which successfully resolved.”

“Kyra is excellent for drop-in cat visits. She's timely, consistent and very dependable. I enjoy reading her Rover cards after each visit and seeing the photos of my happy cat on his back or getting rubs on his head. I feel lucky when Kyra's available for booking when I plan to leave town for multiple days. 🐈🥰”

About: Hi! I've been a dog lover my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever from puppy onward and in adulthood adopted a senior lab who I loved dearly and took great care of in her golden years. Since I no longer have a dog, I'd love to spoil your pup with attention! I work full-time during the week, so I am currently offering weekend availability only; however, there may be certain weeks where I might also be able to walk your dog in the evenings, so if you are interested in certain weekdays, don't hesitate to ask! I am extremely conscientious and will be mindful of your pet's unique needs. Whether that's more of a focus on exercise, interaction, or a balance between both, I'm here for you!
“I’ve used Clara twice now and she’s great! I needed a dog walker last minute and she was able to accommodate. She’s reliable and always comes on time. My fur babies love her!”

About: I’ve taken care for friends and family’s pets for years! I am most familiar with dogs and cats, but I do have some experience with fish and guinea pigs! I am available weekends and weekdays starting August 21st! I just moved to the area so I am looking for ways to earn money and feel like I am making a positive difference in the world! I usually do check ins in the mornings, evenings, and in the middle of the day for potty breaks and meals. I often will spend extra time walking/playing with your pet or spending time with them so they feel less lonely while you're gone!

“Chloe was absolutely amazing with Puck and Orlando. From our first meeting, I could tell she genuinely cares about animals and takes her role seriously. She kept me consistently updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Both of my cats can be a little anxious when I travel, but they were happy, relaxed, and clearly very comfortable with her. Orlando especially seemed to bond with her quickly! It meant a lot knowing they were not just being “checked on,” but truly cared for and given attention and affection. Chloe went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, communicative, and wonderful with pets.”

About: I would love to help out anyway I could with your pets! I have owned various pets throughout my entire life ranging from dogs, bunnies, fish, and more! I’m very active and am an animal lover, here to help you! With a relatively open class schedule and car, I’m able to help out a variety of families and pets! I have plenty of prior experiences whether it is staying at the home with the pets, walking the dogs, or just making sure they are catered too! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and I own a golden myself back at home. As a pet owner myself, I would love to make sure your pets are taken care of like I take care of mine! I will in a hospital during the week however my hours are consistent with a 9-5! I am able to give more consistent care on weekends, but able to give tons of TCL in the am and pm! I care for pets in my home by having adequate resources for them. As I don’t have a yard, I am willing to take the pets on multiple walks a day as well as accommodating other needs! I’m able to put a crate in my room for your furry friend if needed!
About: Kobe, my shihtzu of 10 years, survived with a heart murmur before heart failure kicked in. I spent 6 years giving him medication and a decade fighting him to let me brush his hair and clean his paws after walks. He taught me patience and proper animal grooming! I do have a full time job and my off days vary however, I’m usually available before 3pm on most days for pet sitting & walks as well as drop in visits. Feel free to message me and we can work something out as well! I unfortunately cannot care for pets at my home due to the kids I live with, but I am open to pet sitting in your home. I will abide by your house rules & be respectful, all while still making sure your pet is well taken care of.

Happily booked with Emma again, and she was just as amazing as the first! It’s such a relief knowing we have someone we completely trust to care for our cats while we’re away. She always provides thoughtful updates, adorable photos, and takes such great care of them. We came home to two happy, well cared for cats and will definitely continue booking with Emma :) thank you Emma!

Shay is absolutely wonderful! Although she's only ever seen one of our cats 😹, she takes amazing care of both of them. She always leaves detailed updates with lots of photos, which gives us so much peace of mind while we're away. Rigatoni clearly adores her. She runs to the door for pets, happily plays with her, and even knows Shay is the treat lady!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
