“Brianna was extremely helpful and professional in watching my dog, Peaches! She kept me updated on how Peaches was doing and sent me photos. She arrived promptly and was such a help in letting out and feeding my dog.”

“I deeply appreciate of Ashley’s short notice availability and flexibility when we had an accident which needed an emergency department visit for a human. Her clear communication and obvious care is fantastic.”

“I began working with William recently with my puppy, Max. The amount of relief I feel with his help! My pet is a puppy, and William is very kind, gentle, & understanding. I have complete trust in him when I leave Max in his hands. Totally recommend him!!”

“Annabelle is great! She’s on time and leaves thoroughly detailed notes. She got along great with my more anxious dog which was refreshing knowing she was in good hands!”

“Geena was great with my dog Nayla. She is a little shy at the beginning but Geena was able to make her feel comfortable! She went potty, ate her food and put her back in the crate. Will definitely book her again and recommend for you to do it as well! ☺️”

“I cannot recommend Kyra enough! She took such wonderful care of my cat over the 4th of July weekend. She went above and beyond to make sure my cat felt safe, comfortable, and loved while I was away. She provided daily updates with photos and sweet little texts that truly put my mind at ease. My cat can be a bit shy, but it was clear from the pictures that they bonded quickly—which says a lot! If you’re looking for someone who is responsible, kind, and genuinely loves animals, Kyra is the one. I’ll definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Erica is a fantastic sitter. She took wonderful care of Eleanor, my diabetic cat and handled her insulin injection perfectly. Great communication - I'll definitely book again.”

About: I’ve cared for animals for over 6 years and truly treat every pet like family. I’m extremely attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and behavioral cues. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or calm and sensitive, I adjust to their needs. I’m comfortable with walks, administering basic medications, reinforcing training consistency, and providing structured, loving care. I value communication and will always keep you updated so you feel secure while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I prioritize walks, outdoor time, and structured play so your dog stays stimulated and happy. I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks, and I plan my days intentionally to make sure your pet is never an afterthought — they’re part of my routine. I maintain a calm, clean, and structured environment where pets feel safe. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and comfort levels, and I follow your instructions closely to maintain consistency with your training and home rules. Safety is my top priority — secure spaces, supervised interaction, and thoughtful introductions if needed. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with patience, awareness, and genuine love.

“Brooke was so personable and did an outstanding job with our cat Ollie. She was very easy-going and kept in touch updating us daily. We will definitely be using her again and maybe even going out of town more often, lol!”

“Tracy is amazing dog sitter who takes care of our fur baby. Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our high energy dog. I highly recommend Tracy!”

“Doron has been an incredible help during my recent move to the Atlanta area. Relocating can be stressful for both people and pets, and my dog was especially anxious adjusting to a new environment. From day one, Doron made the transition so much easier. He was consistently responsive and communicative, keeping me updated and giving me peace of mind while I was juggling everything that comes with a move. Most importantly, he was wonderful with my dog—by the end of her first week here, she was noticeably happier and more comfortable. I’m so grateful to have found someone so reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend Doron to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!”

“Claire was reliable, communicative and easy to work with while I was gone on a lengthy trip. My dog is old and can be sweet and lively but sometimes grumpy. Claire communicated well with me (and worked well with Bae!) to make it successful! Bae loves her walks so was grateful Claire was able to drop in on her!”
“Nora did an amazing job with both of my cats while we were out of town!! She made sure that they had everything they needed and always sent pictures and updates about her trip! So grateful to have someone I can trust with my kitties.”

“Re-booked Vanessa for a second time and I’m so happy I did! Vanessa sent the cutest pictures and videos of my dog having the best time with her. She went the extra mile (literally) and took him on several walks when she didn’t have to which I know my dog LOVED and made me happy because I knew he was in good hands. Vanessa is the best!!”

“Kayla - is just the kind of spirit you’d want to watch your dog. She was kind, timely, willing to go above and beyond and made sure our puppy was right at home and on schedule. We will definitely work with her again. We know our dog loved her!”

“Absolutely thrilled with Trent. So kind. So patient. Reliable and hard working. Paid attention to the smallest of details which made my being away so much easier. Thank you, Trent!”

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little--from a pet pig, dog, and sphinx cat-- in addition to the one I have now. Caring for these pets has given me a variety of skills to make sure your dog is safe and has fun at the same time. Whether it's dog walking, playtime, and cleaning--your dog is in good hands! I am currently a full-time student at Georgia State studying Journalism and Law and I work part-time at CraveWell Cafe. However, most of my classes are online and I mostly work closing shifts so I am always free in the mornings and sometimes weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible though if you let me know when you want me to pet sit in advance! To care for pets, is to treat them like your best friend. When I meet a dog for the first time we are instantly best friends. With my dog-sitting, not only will your dog be in trusted hands, but they will also make a new best friend along the way!
“Amy did an excellent job taking care of my cats while I was away for the holidays! She sent great pictures so I could see their cute faces and has great communication! Would definitely use again!🩷❤️🐈⬛”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Sandy Springs
Tara was by far the best sitter we’ve ever had for our cat! Our cat can be quite shy and we had just recently moved when we needed a sitter. Tara made him feel so at ease and he quickly warmed up and was acting like his cuddly, silly self. Tara was timely and very attentive to all of his needs. In addition to this, she sent such cute photos and also let us know right away when she noticed a maintenance issue in our apartment. We will certainly reach out to Tara for future sitting needs!

Brooke has been a godsend, allowing our nervous senior dog to remain in our home while we’re away. She has been extra helpful- bringing in mail and putting our trash can at the curb without our even asking. We appreciate her prompt communication and her photos and updates. We have peace of mind knowing that our pet and our home are in good hands. Can’t recommend her highly enough!
Daniela has been the perfect sitter for our dogs. She has taken care of them so well and we will totally be getting her back when we need her. If our dog Numan can get warmed up and be excited to see her, that means he trust her and that’s why we trust her with them. Fantastic job and highly recommend.

Laura was perfect for our kitty Casper and provided updates and pictures to keep us up to date. She even came over before the pet-sitting for a meet and greet with our pet. Couldn't recommend here enough and will be happy to request her again for next time. Thank you Laura!

Yiwen was amazing! Perfect communication, thorough notes were taken during our meet-and-greet before our trip, our boys were happy, safe, and healthy when we returned! She was very willing to add on taking care of our dog as well as our cat. Both required medications and she nailed it all.

Emma was absolutely incredible! This was our first time leaving our cats in a new home, so we were naturally a little nervous. During the meet-and-greet, my cat, who is usually very hesitant around new people, immediately warmed up to Emma. She has such a calm, natural energy with cats, and they seemed to trust her right away. Throughout the stay, she provided thoughtful updates and the most amazing photos I’ve ever seen of my cats. Honestly, it felt like they had a professional photoshoot! The pictures captured their personalities perfectly and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Emma went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely understands and connects with cats, she’s the one.

Once again, Katie is absolute perfection in looking after our boys. We don’t leave them in the care of anyone else. We cannot sing her praises enough, and the peace of mind that she gives us with her genuine care for our cats and the twice-daily updates that she sends. Words aren’t enough!

Maria was super responsive and checked in with me almost everyday while I was out on vacation to made sure my cat had everything he needed to be taken care of. She sent notes and pics, and kept the space tidy when I got back. Would totally recommend her for catsitting!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
