“Mackenzie was great! Very puntual and kept me updated with pictures as well which is always a plus! My little river will definitely be seeing Mackenzie again in the future!”

“Robert did a great job taking care of Neo! He made sure Neo got plenty of attention, playtime, and pets, even getting some lap nap time in. We appreciated the updates and the care he took with everything, like refreshing water and keeping us informed. Neo seemed to have a great time, and we felt completely at ease. We’d absolutely love to hire Robert and Alex again!”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing taking care of our cats while we were away. She kept us consistently updated with messages, photos, and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear she really took the time to get to know each of them. Our more social cat warmed up to her right away, and even our shy one started to come around by the end. She went above and beyond with little things like leaving treats, checking all feeders and bowls, and making sure everything in the house was in great shape. She was also super communicative and flexible with timing, which we really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and treats them like her own. We fully trust her and will absolutely be using her again. Highly recommend!”

“Julia was so wonderful! She communicated clearly, spent time with our babies, and was so wonderful to keep us updated while we were out of town. We are grateful!”

“Can’t say enough good things about Meredith! She is super reliable and communicative and just does such a great job with my 2 cats and bulldog. Wish I could give her another star for crawling through one of my windows to get in my house when the door was jammed. I can always count on her!!”

“I have used Stacie a handful of times now, and my review on her will never change. She is so amazing with my cat Marble and makes me feel so at ease when I am away. She has gone above and beyond for my sweet boy every time and responds to my last minute requests so kindly, I recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter!! We love Stacie!!!”

“Desiree was so helpful in watching our dogs! We haven’t had anyone dog sit at home before and she made us feel completely comfortable and constantly updated us on how the dogs were doing and sent pictures!”

“Vivian was amazing! Never once had to request any additional information or worry that my dog, Fynn, was unhappy. Super accountable and knows what she is doing.”

“Sergio did such a great job checking in on Holly this weekend! She’s an anxious cat, but she warmed up to him quickly. He kept me updated and made sure she was well cared for. I’d definitely book him again!”

“Cabby is wonderful. My pup liked her as soon as they met, which made me feel comfortable and at ease about leaving them together. She was friendly, prompt with all drop-ins, and she communicated well and often. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Let me care for your pup like he or she was my own :) I have been taking care of neighbors' dogs for years and have provided hours of volunteer service at animal shelters. I would love to take care of your furry friend! If your dog has any special needs, I can help administer: -Special diets -Meds -Exercise regiments Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my services, or to schedule a doggie meet and greet Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover since I was a kid. Although I didn't grow up with a dog in the house, I always gravitated toward my neighbors' and friends' dogs and cared many of them during vacations. My love for dogs led me to volunteer service at animal shelters during my free time. I would play with them, take them for walks and talk to people about adoption. Thoroughly rewarding experience and helped me get my fix for dogs! When I finally adopted my dog Prima, happiness ensued. My pup is sincerely my best friend and we hang out together all the time. Yet, I still have a hankerin for more dogs! More furry guys running around my house, please! While I'm not ready to adopt another dog yet, I see Rover.com as a great service allowing me to interact with dogs and provide the care I know is vital to each dogs' parents! My experience administering medication Sure! Just tell me the schedule and the best way to get your dog to take their meds. I'm happy to help keep your dog healthy and Pet care is part of my daily routine since I have a 15.5 yr old dog named Prima. I take her on multiple walks a day and feed her before I feed myself. I care for pets in my home by making sure they're well-fed, comfortable, and happy. This includes play time with toys, treats, and of course walks and/or time in the backyard

We make sure to pay attention to habits and preferences of Fido - feeding times, walking times, toy preferences as well as sleep times and if dogs are allowed on furniture.
“Emma did an amazing job this weekend! She took very very good care of my boys. She had excellent communication throughout, sent adorable photos, and kept me updated. I really appreciated her letting me know about a small issue in the house—she handled it professionally and with care. Will definitely be hiring her again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments and currently raise both a senior dog and a puppy, so I understand the different needs each stage requires. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medication (if needed), walks, crate training, and providing a calm, loving environment. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Atlanta
Julianne was amazing with our puppy! While we were nervous for the inevitable day to come where we would have to leave our new puppy at home for a quick trip Julianne made it perfect for us by being so patient with him so caring so thoughtful and so intentional with him. She shared so many updates came over several times a day and made sure that he felt comfortable at home without us. She followed all of our instructions to the T and made us feel so comfortable, knowing that our puppy was in great hands. Would highly recommend Julianne if you are considering!

Natali took care of our three cats while we were out of state and she was fantastic! One requires insulin injections, one requires an inhaler for asthma, and the other is just an old creeky cat. Three kitties who I would consider a lot of work and she left us such detailed and caring notes. Thank you!

Delfina was great! She sent pictures everyday, was very responsive, met before her official start day to meet my cats, see where everything was that they needed, learn the routine, and learn how to enter my apartment. She was wonderful and I would definitely book her again.

We get very excited to see the pictures Cindy sends us! She captures their personalities. We have a blind cat, a deaf cat with health problems and she does a great job of caring for them. She goes above and beyond. She takes the time to wash their water bowls every time. We couldn’t do it without her!!! Thank you Cindy for loving our fur babies so much!
Mike was great for our pup Hazel. He was prompt, detail oriented and went above and beyond in caring for our dog. He even volunteered to pick up some food for her when she ran out after one of his drop-ins! Would highly recommend Mike and look forward to booking him in the future.

10/10. Exceptional service!! THANK YOU Melissa. Every aspect has been top-drawer. From communication and pre-meet, to daily photos and videos, to care of our cats. House was left very clean, and the cats were looking very healthy and happy on our return. We would use Melissa again, and will be highly recommending to neighbors. Thanks again, Melissa!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
