Hi there! My name is Emma but I prefer to go by Em. I have had a love and passion for animals—specifically cats—ever since I was little. I grew up with cats in my household from the moment I was born, and when I was 7 years old I had the honor of meeting and adopting my soul cat Gabby, who lived a wonderful life by my side for 19.5 years. As soon as I was old enough, I frequently offered to cat-sit for my friends and neighbors as often as I could. When I was 13 I even volunteered at a local cat shelter just to get more kitty time! Interacting with cats genuinely just brings me so much joy. I currently have two cats of my own: Boo Radley and Lychee Peachy. They both bring such a light to my life and are my pride and joy. Boo is also an eyeless blind cat, so I do have experience caring for kitties with special needs! In addition to my two cats, I care for my hamster Linguine Tortellini, so if you are also in need of small or exotic animal care I am more than happy to care for your tinier babies! I make sure to offer the highest quality care for your kitties while you are away so that you can feel at ease knowing your babies are in good hands. In addition to ensuring they have the basics met like food, fresh water, and clean litter, I also love to provide them with enrichment through playtime or offer endless cuddles. I also understand that every cat is unique, so whether your cat is skittish and prefers to keep their distance, or is an outgoing cuddle monster, I always respect each individual cat’s needs and boundaries. I also know how much I miss and worry about my cats when I’m gone, so I make sure to send lots of photos and updates each visit. I would be honored to set up a meet and greet with your kitties to learn all their habits, routines, and needs so I can ensure to provide the best care possible for them!
